Can Javi ride on Hatya? :D

Oh boy. Our group is three LN and one CG. That poor bard will feel like in prison.

On Seferneru's side, very few things to say. He is a pure tank, he can take many hits, both physical and mental, and dish them out in return. He has a passable +7 to stealth, and high speed/acrobatics, so he is not a glacier, more like an avalanche.

I think that, more than the name, we should focus on establishing group dynamics.
Seferneru is gregarious and would rather follow than lead.
He is fiercely loyal to Osirion and the Ruby Prince, before the Pathfinder Society.

I see Abram as a balanced leader. Seferneru as a reliable, loyal and like-minded right hand man. And I see Vorthos and Lyrian as day-and-night, bickering younger members with the most potential for disaster and out of the box thinking (being arcane casters with oppostie focuses and personalities).

Am I wrong?

EDIT: I took the point-buy. Just out of curiosity, let's see these rolls...

4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 1, 3) = 10 --> 9
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 4, 2) = 10 --> 9
4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 5, 2) = 9 --> 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 1) = 8 --> 7
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 1, 1) = 12 --> 11
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 4) = 21 --> 17

this might just be the most absurd set I've ever seen.

Discussion is open, me hearties! Wait, this isn't Skull-n-Shackles....

Well now we're all going to talk like that anyway... Matey.

Jail breaks are my specialty.

Lyrian has no intention of bickering. Just doing things his own way. :-P

Yarrr. Heave yon pyramid to and prepare to be excavated, er, plundered, me hearties. Yee've been warnned, scallywags. Now do as we say or we'll send this here escarpment to the bottom of yon dunes.

I'd like to say 'yes'... but she isn't a combat trained mount so you probably don't want to get that +5 Lance. :)

Maybe I don't have a handle on the animal tricks thing but... it looks like Riding, Combat Riding, and Combat are three of the broad 'categories' of which you can have only one apparently. I went with Combat - which has all the 'skills' for riding as well but there isn't a separate non-categorical Riding trick - at least not in HeroLab. If I can pick up Riding, I'd be happy to toss out one of the tricks Hatyah really doesn't need.

EDIT - just checked out some of the rules... I should be able to take Riding by itself.

Actually, Abram is a Paladin of Pharasma, and of Neutral alignment as a result, such being allowed by house rules. He can certainly be forcefull, and could definitely keep the group organized and focused, but some might find his motivations a little overly focussed. He'll be involved to hunt down and kill undead, and anyone interested in further perverting the line between living and dead. To that end, he'll be rather blasé about the other kinds of moral dilemma's that might usually get a Paladin's goat, and he might therefore make a good bridge between the Lawful and Chaotic elements of the group. On the other hand, he won't give two hoots about saving bystanders, or bringing traditional criminals to justice. Everyone dies, and it makes little difference to him when they do it. He might even actively try to steer the group away from such "distractions" in order to get down to the real business: enforcing the veil of separation between the living and the dead.

He could potentially transition over to Neutral Good if it works better with the team, but I would have to reimagine his outlook a bit.

Scarab Sages

Actually Vorthos is pretty heavy on buffing/utility/battlefield control and decent on healing
i was going to pick up a wand of infernal healing but with a pally (making him go all demonic not so good) ill just go wand of cure light wounds and some cure various ailments Potions
(god i love Alchemical Allocation for reusable buffs/cures so get a couple pots and he'll make em reusable)
and some scrolls etc for fun had to drop his headband Dien of +4 was remembering the price wrong so updated his skills a little bit...god is stuff expensive use to cheap wizards (scrolls and a rod or two and im done)

And personality wise.. He's a bit independent but realizes he just doesnt have enough resources/strength to solo the place so he'll follow along (i think he might also be the squishiest) just use logic to deal with Vorthos if it makes sense he'll agree ill try not to over do it!

and sef Woohoo Vorthos is Osirion all the way!

Dravan, there was absolutely nothing wrong with your application, I had just committed myself to keeping to the module's limit of four PCs, and, unfortunately, I have nine solid applications. :-\ With a rogue and another archaeologist bard already in the running, my end choice on who not to take came down to party balance concerns. Best of luck in finding a home for Dravan.

It's okay. I understand perfectly. Next time perhaps.

Javi: Thanks for the support. Maybe we'll cross paths again and join a game together. Well, I got work to do. Planning on joining a Kingmaker pbp game and trying to come up with a custom AP (still haven't put everything together yet and am thinking about asking for help around the forums. I am both a completely new player to Pathfinder and a rookie DM. I've DMed a D&D 4.0 campaign that fell apart due to not being all that prepared to DM and not being prepared on how to come up with ways to keep players in relevant plot. I can't tell you how many times I've had to make up things on the spot. So, yeah. I know I would need help with this. I'll put up a thread at some point when I get everything down.)

You're very brave, taking on a custom AP! :D I wish you all the luck with it. My advice would be to read a couple of published APs and get ideas from those-- there's no such thing as being derivative when it comes to RPGs. Steal elements you liked from 4e, or from other campaigns. (I'm definitely stealing some traps from the Pharaohs arc...)

Also, Kingmaker is a lot of fun. I'm in a tabletop game of that and I think PBP could be interesting for it. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for the support. Like I said, when I get the concepts and ideas down, I will probably post the information here, so I could get some help, advice, and people to help develop it. If anyone here is interested, keep an eye on my profile for the post.
