"Roger that!" Chakos moves up, weapon out, and opens the north door.
Dust-covered shelves crammed with all manner of books and scrolls line the walls of this enormous curving library. A large desk, its top cluttered with scrolls and papers, sits at the western end of the room. A metal door leads to the south, while north of it a second door stands slightly ajar, revealing what appears to be a reading nook.

Astra does a brief search and browse through the materials to see if anything sticks out at her. She also casts detect magic to see if there's anything magical present, doing a 360 degree turn around to examine the room fully, and concentrating further if she detects anything.

The back of this cozy room contains a low bookshelf with a few papers on it and an overstuffed leather chair. The room is coated with a thin layer of dust and has a slightly sweet smell.
Liz enters the room alone. As soon as she stands by the desk, the door shuts closed, you all hear gears and a locking noise, and gas floods into the room from metal pipes in the ceiling.
Astra follows after but the door closes in her face.

Ibuki picks at the door trying to open it. He feels like he is making progress on the elongated rectangular door, but it refuses to budge. The inner workings of the airtight barrier seem to be interlocked, a bit harder to open than an average lock.
