Edrin is still stealthily tagging along behind. He knows he was probably spotted when he lobbed the bombs, but until he's sure that these people don't have an ulterior motive, best to keep hidden.

He does make sure to avoid the crystals, though.


Shamus stops and sniffs the air as Edrin moves closer. he looks back down the tunnel and growls quietly.

He smells something, come on out whoever or what ever you are!

Fuar continues along he can understand most of what is spoken in common having picked it up during his time among humans but it is still far from enough to be considered fluent.

the warning of the crystals is understood. he also avoid getting close unsure how they react to cold.

Following Callehi and the group, Stella keeps her eyes on the crystals. curious about their nature and aware of the danger they pose to her after hearing the translated warning from Gremble. As the gnome suddenly stopped and called someone out, she turned her attention to the direction with a thoughtful look on her face. "Could it be..."

I'm just going with the assumption that Stella recalls Edrin being part of the crew prior to the crash.

Muttering cursewords under his breath, Edrin comes into view.

Picking a language he hopes their hosts don't speak, he grumps at Gremble:

Draconic:
"Ya couldn't keep your mouth shut, couldya? Maybe you hit your head a little too hard in the crash?"

Switching to common, he continues: "It's good to see yall survived." He does a mid-air bow to Callehi, and adds "Greetings, I'm Edrin. Thank you for rescuing us."

As you walk through the tunnel, you notice that it is almost symmetrical, and it looks like it was done by magic. As you come to the end of the tunnel, you come out in a small village. Right away you notice that the buildings are symmetrical. You also notice that each house is identical. An elf walks up to the wolf and whispers in it's ear. The wolf looks back at you then replies back to the elf.

Celestial:
These people aren't our enemies, but they have die information that Ceraile will want to hear.

The elf nods his head and walks away.

Sylvan:
Follow me, I'm taking you to Ceraile. I'll explain everything later.

The wolf starts walking down a stone path.

I'm going to automatically assuming that you are following Callehi

The wolf leads to a small gate about three feet high. Behind the gate is a small clearing surrounded by trees.. There are many flowers and fruits on the ground. At the back of the clearing, there is a well made of stone. The well has no top and also is symmetrical.

Sylvan:
Wait here

The wolf leaps over the gate and bounds over to the well. The wolf then jumps into the well. About a minute later the wolf comes back out of the well.

With a sudden splash of water, a winged figure soars out of the well and lands beside the wolf. It's an Aasimar with feathery white wings. She has the look of innocence, but at the same time has the look of grief on her face. She looks young and seems to be the leader of the village

The wolf turns back into Callehi, who is now on her hands and knees. She blushes and stands up.

Yes, these people were flying in a shuttle...well, I think it would be better if they explained it to you...

To Gremble, in Draconic:
"I suppose that's fair. It's probably for the best anyway - better that they don't think we were being dishonest them."

As they emerge into the village, he looks around and adds:

Draconic again:
"This place is so standardized that it's giving me the creeps."

He bows respectfully, but otherwise remains quiet in the presence of Ceraile, waiting for someone with a more glib tongue to speak up.

For what it's worth, I share at least one language with each character that no one else has, except possibly for Kronic who doesn't list them in its profile. So if you want to pass messages to me, or have me pass them on to one specific character, I can do that. No promises that the NPCs won't speak that language, though.


Female Holstaur Paladin / Sorcerer 5 (Gestalt)

Listening on to the small exchange between Ceraile and Callehi, Stella then speaks out on behalf of her group, explaining how she and the others ended up at their current location. She also voices her concern over the prisoners they had been transporting along the way, as it is likely that the ones that might have survived the crash are now on the run.

Is this an okay way to put it? I wasn't too inspired for actual dialogue this time...

I would suggest to add a diplomacy roll with statement stella.

Derroth keeps to the back of the group as they go through the tunnel and makes small acknowlagements to statements made in sylvan and common. He keeps an eye out for threats. perception check 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16

I don't see the need for that, since I already rolled Diplomacy earlier and established that we're no threat to the locals.

Well diplomacy can be used to sweeten your words, to influence someone's attitude toward you, or if you just give a general statement about what you would say the diplomacy check is how you relayed it.

The fox seems to speak in a strange language, though if you don't know the language you can tell that he is having a good time and laughing.

not sure what half the people are saying and what he does understand makes little sense he starts to wander the community seeing what sort of folk reside here.

things are going on either in a lnguage he does not understand or about events or situations he has no clue about. all he knows is he crashed and was brought here with little or no understanding as to who these people are or why they brought us here.

I have a clue about who the assassin might be, but I have no idea where she might be hiding. We suspect they are hiding not to far from where your criminals landed. I've received an anonymous letter telling me this, and a this must be taken seriously. For I think that assassination will be targeted at me...

Listening on to the conversation, the paladin crossed her arms as she heard what Ceraile knew about the assassination, giving her own response in a solemn tone. "If that is the case, then we should take extra measures to keeping you safe. For all we know about what else has been said, the assassin could have deliberately given false information about the scheduled assassination and planned it for today instead. Either way, giving us a chance to stay alert seems unusually careless for a hired killer, so there may be more to this than meets the eye."

Edrin nods to what Stella says, although his devious mind takes it even a step further. "Or, that may be just what the assassin wants us to think. It might actually take place after the appointed time, because by then we'll have been watching for several days, and be getting careless or fatigued because nothing has happened, and the target date has passed without incident, which would lead us to question the source of the rumors or again, relax our guard."

He goes on: "It may even be a warning that's weeks early, with the intent of causing us to think that our protection has thwarted the assassin, when in reality, we're spending all our time and energy on this while he goes after another, less protected target, long after we've stopped being paranoid about it."

The tiny man draws a breath to continue expounding on the possibilities, but then shuts his mouth and says no more.

She yells this, and he is nowhere to be seen. Then Kronic pokes his head out from behind a house plant, snickering and panting as he walks over to Ceraile.

Can you show the men where they can sleep? Also, Callehi, can you come back here after you are done? I want to speak to you.

Furar lets Pogot wander a bit but he does not stray to far in this unfamiliar terrain.

They both soon find a well for water. Fuar looks to Pogot drink?

He draws some water from the well and both enjoy a cool drink.

The goings on of the others seems lost for the time being.

Fuar reaches down and scoops up Pogot onto his lap. Speak they do, like ...frinds? Fuar struggles with the correct words in common.

I am pretty sure with a 32 and the amount of languages that Cronik has, that he speaks broken, if not fluent, but still in your language. "Come along we go to good place, a place that has a cold area for you."

The inn is of merchant quality all around. Good beds, baths can be drawn, or there is a hot spring in the basement. Next to the kitchen there is a large room that is some frozen meat in it, but mostly just ice that has been growing from the cold which Cronik shows Faur. There are four staff on hand, they accept tips kindly, though think of yourself as guests and use the inn as you would your own home. Cronik makes sure that each person has basic accommodations before leaving.

Please post any RP, for getting settled and interacting with each other. Then we will move on into the next day.

Edrin had a good point, but being too lax now would also be a great risk. Deciding not to stress it any further, she decides to lie down on a bed for now.
