I asked Callehi to talk to me last night, but she didn't come. She went home instead, and I haven't seen her since. She likes taking morning walks, but she hasn't come out. If you climb up this tree, you will find that the trunk is hollow, and there is an opening where you can climb in. Can you go up there and check? I can't fit in there, I need someone to go up there. This isn't like her.
She has a look of fear and worry on her face. She looks like she didn't sleep well. There are dark circles under her bloodshot eyes.

This is happening about 10:00 A.M.
You climb up the tree, and as you climb up, you can see the entire village. You reach the opening and go in. You then climb down and at the bottom, you find yourself in a room. There are candles lit everywhere, plants spread out through the entire room. There are two beds in the far corner of the room. There is a fireplace but it hasn't been used in awhile by the looks of it. On one of the beds you see Cronik pacing back and forth, but Callehi isn't anywhere to be seen. It was then that you noticed that there was a fox sitting on the second bed.

Kronic the Sly |

"Um... well... you see, this has never happened to me before. Callehi is the fox?" Cronik seems as confused as you.

Edrin Damida |

I'm back! The move is complete, and my computer is reassembled.
Edrin beats Gremble into the tree, as he can just fly up, but spends the time casting detect magic and examining the fox (and Cronik). In an aside to Gremble, he says
Spellcraft check, if necessary: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34

Kronic the Sly |

No. Just grab her and soothe her by a petting then, try to carry her down, or we could lower her in a basket first.

As you attempt to calm Callehi, she stops trembling and licks Gremble's hand before she is lowered down the tree. Ceraile notices the fox being lowered down. Ceraile lands on the ground right as Callehi reaches the ground. The two of them look at each other for awhile, then Callehi jumps into Ceraile's arms. Ceraile pets Callehi, and looks at Cronik as he climbs down the tree.

Ceraile puts Callehi on the ground and then pulls out a whistle and blows it. A sharp, piercing noise echos throughout the village. A white glow surrounds Callehi. The glow shines brighter and brighter until you can't see her anymore. A faint humming sound can be heard coming from the white glowing figure. The light begins to dim, and after awhile you can see Callehi sitting on the ground, back to her old self.
I guess I've got some explaining to do...
Posting tomorrow, might post one last time before I go to bed.

Edrin Damida |

Edrin flits around the basket as it's being lowered, ready to grab it if necessary, as he is quite strong for his size. Once the fox reaches the ground safely, he relays the information about the curse to the others who are waiting, then waits to hear the explanation.

Where to start...well, let's start at the very beginning. Callehi you were about five years old when your mother died if I'm not mistaken. Your mother was a fine woman. She was thought to be killed by thief, when in reality, it was I who killed her. Before you say anything, I want you to hear what I have to say. She was in a fight with a dire fox about a year before you were born. She fought bravely, and bared very few injures. But those few injures caused the death of her in the end. During that fight she contracted lycanthropy from the fox. She never knew that she had it, even while she was pregnant with you, she didn't have the slightest clue. Since she was never cured of it, you were born with lycanthropy along with your sister Rienn. One night, during a full moon, she turned into a fox and went on a rampage. She attacked me, and I killed her, not knowing it was her. When she died, she reverted to her normal form. I immediately put two and two together. I didn't want anybody to know, so I faked the thief. That explains why you turned into that form. This whistle is called a werewhistle, it reverts you to your regular form for the next twenty-four hours. That's the just of it

Fuar Le Teacht |

Fuar listens he seems to comprehend almost everything said.
Looks to the others Need to find other from crash...
He looks to his little fox Pogot come
Pogot follows Fuar along and he starts to head to where he entered this village. looking to find his way out. apparently intent on finding the others that were in the other part of the shuttle.

Edrin Damida |

Edrin frowns. "That's a useful device, but why has this not come up before? I mean, have you been blowing that whistle for her every month since she was born?" He waves in the direction Faur took. "My friend of few words is right, though. We need to find our escaped prisoners and recapture them. We appreciate the opportunity to recover from the crash, but we must be moving on. Can you give us any idea about which direction they may have gone?"

[b]I know it sounds crazy but yes, I have been using this whistle. I didn't buy it until about a month after her mother died. As for your criminals, it is as much of my problem as it is yours. I will assist you in finding them.[b]
During this entire conversation, Callehi is looking blankly at Ceraile.
