lmao... have you asked her for a bird dog? maybe she'd let you have one of those? dogs can be a handful, but so can babies... I can see her point cuz it's usually 'mom' who ends up doing all the feeding and such, at least in our house that's how it works out. I know, cuz I'm the mom and i feed the cats, clean their boxes, feed the dog, fed the fish, cleaned the tank... the kid? useless lol, the husband, he helps out from time to time... when he feels like it.

My character will be roleplaying 2 flaws. Merciful and code of arms. While not taking them as flaws to get the feats---feel free to penalize if you think my character would have violated Iomedae's code of conduct. Generally once a prisoner surrenders and I believe it did so out of good faith, it becomes my duty to protect it.

I only have a dog right now. But did have a cat and two dogs at one time. I was always the one who took care of them, the ex-wife was not much of an animal person. I love my dog, she is my family.

DaWay - that's tough to be breadwinner and animal caretaker, but sometimes that happens. I remember when my husband was out of work for several months (this was about 20 years ago)... I was breadwinner and caretaker too, that was when we just had cats and fish (no dogs). It's not easy working full time and coming home to hungry mouths and such... kudos to you for handling it all - and dming for us too!
Radbar - Dogs are and should be family. That's awesome that you have a strong bond with her!
Blythe - you are twice blessed... twins? and taking care of a special needs child is never easy. You have my greatest admiration!

So,
Just an post to clear some things up.
First, sorry for being a pain I thought I was doing things okay.
Second, should I take two flaws for the one feat.
Third, I'm happy to have 'big but not quite developed wings for a while.
Much cheers to all.

also just so you all know, I am kind of an old school AD&D (like from 20 years ago) paladin. The honor and mercy thing will be big with me BUT I do not want it taking from any of your fun. So I dont want to play lawful stupid either. if at any times my playing the mercy, honor thing interferes with your fun--let me know. I am sure that Daway and I can make it work so that the LG thing doesn't hurt your fun.

It's good with me Radbar... I'm old school too - I started playing in 1974 when I was in college, so I'm used to every permutation of paladin they've ever done and can work with just about anything. Play your character as you see fit and we will react in character and hopefully any interactions that result will be fun for all. You won't have any problems from me though

one flaw=one feat therefor two flaws = two feats.
Arabeth after reconsidering it. Use one flaw to gain the feat prerequisite for angel wings. I then will allow you to make checks in order to try and take flight. These will be hard checks at first but the more you do it the easier it will get. When you can get the feat at level 6 flying will come much more easier.
I believe this is the best compromise I can do and to try and keep it in keeping with things.

No worries Arabeth. :)
It is extremely rewarding and very taxing. Literally. Don't ever let me soapbox on the amount of taxes we pay, lol.
They are not twins, ones mine and ones hers, blond and blue-eyed and brunette and brown-eyed, but they've been raised as sisters since they were one, and know nothing else. :)
Radbar, I tend to not actually play the alignment system, but use it as a really loose base to start. (Even a priest can beat a man to death with his hands in the right - wrong...circumstances.
That being said, I actually think I am already leaning towards playing your foil, your rival. You want order, I think order controls and segregates. You want good, but I see good in the thief. I don't judge the hobgoblin, even though I may blow him away if he twitches. But I also may have tea with him. Thoughts? :) My ultimate character...enjoyment...would be to watch your paladin "fall" through personal enlightment.
I accept your choice, DaWay. I did like the round per level thing till they grow. That was a neat theme.
| Radbar Blaist |
That actually sounds fun Blythe. Radbar is more of an actions speak louder than words so he will not preach. He feels any deaths lessen him and will pray for forgiveness afterwards but that will not stop him from killing when it is needed.

Daway, Would it be possible for me to change my Bloodline? I know we have already begun but I wanted to change to the Primal bloodline to better match my theme, it wouldnt of changed anything I have done so far, just upcoming spells/feats etc.

I am heading to L.A. again. I've been invited to participate in the celebrity D&D tournament down there.
I'll keep up with posts as well as I can. You guys should check it out, it's a charity event. Go to www.meltcomics.com to learn more, and support the game!
Cheers. :)

Just getting in a post here in-case/before DM DaWay moves things along.
It looks like Arabeth might be spending the night bunking with Aimea. Hence she will try and keep her bargain/word and rise early to greet the sun.
Fort Save:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17(To rise and shine early after the nights libations)
Thence, once their little ritual is done, Arabeth will skip down stairs and enjoy the bath that she organized the previous evening. (^_^)
Much cheers to all.

I do apologize if our banter has become a tad excess...
Not at all! It has been very entertaining. I was just trying to speak in character, not complaining.
I have always had trouble being proactive instead of reactive. Cerinnibert is kind of a departure from the type of character I normally play. I will try to keep up!
| Arabeth |
Worry not Blythe. We can always try and get any salacious details from Alric at a later date. *Sidles up and waggles eyebrows suggestively @ Alric* (^_~)

You know honestly at first I wasn't particularly excited about running this AP, I was just stepping up in another thread for the absentee GM but this has turned out to be quite a blast. My only regret is not including as much detail as I know I am capable of doing but alas I make an effort with everything else going. So thank you all for making this enjoyable, now Alric pull up your pants and let's keep going.

Yes, this has been great so far! I'm looking forwards to (try to) find out more about what's going on.
Also, I don't think I mentioned it, but Cerin is praying for 2 cure light wounds today. I hope we don't need it...
