Rameth the Delver |

All I have.

Rameth the Delver |

Rameth moves to Q 30 and swipes his blade at the dog
Try not to kill it, perhaps it is just a lost dog.
1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 6 - 2 = 18 vs FF for 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 = 6 nonlethal

Dwalindor takes one look at the feral two headed dog and decides it needs to be slain.
"Demon Dogs! . "
Lucern hammer: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 damage : 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
and so it continues .

"Angel Eyes" Albus |

Is that so? And why do you suppose it has two heads mate? Albus says doubfull while charging in.
Move in into one of the available squares around monster and attack.
Here doggy, daddy got a toy for you. Catch!
Attk: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Dmg: 1d10 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 1 = 10
K. Arcane: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Albus went to the Willian Shatner School of Oneliners.

Rameth the Delver |

I had a post eaten sorry, basically I am playing the mind fire I caught. Hence thinking he is seeing double

DMummy |

That explains it! It's roleplaying, I remember what that's like; it's the filler between combat so far in this AP. Don't worry, I'm working on spicing up part 3 for you guys so you're less Commando and more True Lies (speaking of action movies and one-liners).
Albus recognizes the beast as a death dog, a diseased magical beast that is common enough in warm deserts in Osirian.
They're usually nocturnal and can see in the dark. They have a keen sense of smell, and understand goblin. They also can transmit their disease by their bite, often causing the vitality of their victims to be sapped Con damage from disease. Finally in the last stages of their disease they can turn on their own young, killing them in a frenzy.
Snarling, the heads turn on Albus for the vicious attack he dealt the beast.
Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
The dog manages to pull Albus off his feet, but can't manage to sink its teeth into his prone form. Tripped!

Azubah |

Wise words often go unheeded, Sir Howard Azubah thinks to himself as he throws out his arms and calls upon Aroden to vex the monster's attacks.
Misfortune (Ex): At 1st level, as an immediate action, you can force a creature within 30 feet to re-roll any one d20 roll that it has just made before the results of the roll are revealed. The creature must take the result of the re-roll, even if it is worse than the original roll. Once a creature has suffered from your misfortune, it cannot be the target of this revelation again for 1 day. Applies to its next roll.

Rameth the Delver |

It really does have two heads?!
1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (6) + 6 - 1 = 11 for 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 2 = 9
Rameth attacks again

"Angel Eyes" Albus |

Albus attacks the beast from the floor.

Dwalindor repositions for another swing at either of the dog heads.
"Harrrrr! . "
hammer,pa: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 5 - 1 = 23 damage : 1d12 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 3 = 11

DMummy |

Albus and Dwalindor's attacks crash into the death dog and consume what's left of it's life.
The huge dog collapses, causing the ground to shake as its enormous bulk falls on the ground.
As you begin to relax, you can hear the whining and barking of several small dogs in the corner of the hut.

Rameth the Delver |

should still be alive from the non lethal.
I am going to be unhappy if those are Cerberus puppies.
Rameth looks to the corner

DMummy |

Albus and Dwalindor's attacks are enough to kill it alone actually. And come on, everyone loves puppies.
To Rameth's dismay, a small three-headed dog, lean and hungry, is cowering in a small pit filled with various items of treasure. Amazingly it doesn't seem to have the standard disease crawling through its fur.
It looks up at you piteously with six large, begging eyes, obviously hungry.

![]() |

"I ain't going near that thing. Add puppies to my list with dolls, kittens and death bunnies. ."

Rameth the Delver |

@#@!$%. One of those weeks. I am not killing a puppy, even if it is a monstrous puppy.
Rameth pulls out some of his alchemy bowls and such and then he pulls out two of his trail rations, and breaks them up and puts them in the bowl. To that he adds some water and mashes it up. He puts a little of it on the ground and makes a small trail away from the pit and then puts the bowl down.
Not a word. He says glaring at the others.

Azubah |

Azubah stops muttering to the air suddenly and says "The dog might be worth money. Someone might try to train it as a watch-dog." He considers adding that one of his incorporeal entourage suggested this, but thinks better of it.

Rameth the Delver |

I'll keep it.. He grunts we got stuff to guard.

DMummy |

The puppy eagerly eats up the rations that Rameth puts on the floor and once it's done looks up at him happily while wagging its tail.
After a bit it goes over to its pit and digs up a variety of treasure that had been buried in the corner of the room for him.
You see a collection of coins and a turquoise earring amongst the dirt pile and when it's done it runs over and sits next to Rameth's feet.
You find 7 gp, 3 sp, 12 cp and the earring, which is worth 15 gp.

Rameth the Delver |

Rameth tries to hide a smile.
He puts some fresh water in the bowl as well.
Now you aren't going to be some evil monster are you? Rameth pats each head in turn

Rameth the Delver |

So do i read correctly that the dog dug up more and my compatriots found other loot that is unlisted as of now

"Angel Eyes" Albus |

Albus casts detect magic and does the standard swipe in the loot and the rest of this room.
I suppose every group needs a mascot. The magus shrugs. What are we going to call him? Is it a he or a she by the way?

Rameth the Delver |

one name or three?

![]() |

"You can call him Three Dog Knight!"
The dwarf chuckles uncharacteristically. Obviously ready to move onward.
"Where is the next room. Time to find some flesh eating flowers or something"
Dwalindor grumbles as he picks up his hammer and walks towards the door.

Rameth the Delver |

Rameth grabs his gear and leads the way to the next building to the north.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 percep

Azubah |

Azubah chuckles at Dwalindor's joke and follows the others.

Rameth the Delver |

hmm, and we never found the other bodies to relieve that haunt? or where we needed to inter the bodies?
so are we done with this area?

DMummy |

You found five skeletons in the house - one in the kitchen with a rusted dagger in its ribs, the headless skeleton in the privy and the three animated guardsmen in the entry. There's also a rotting corpse upstairs in one of the bedrooms you examined.
You also initially explored the household tomb at the beginning of your exploration.

Rameth the Delver |

Rameth will lead the way to transporting all of the bodies to the tomb and interring them.
Well I guess that is that, no someone get out there and get a scroll of mending so we can fix that dress.

Rameth the Delver |

Someone w charisma!

![]() |

Dwalindor looks up.
"Shoot, I'll do it. What da ya think I should say to these ghosts?. " :-p

Rameth the Delver |

[b] going to find whomever in town sells scrolls and the like. I suspect Sunak is running about he would be a good option. Hell he could rejoin us here

Sumak Wonderfoot |

Hey guys, you are never going to believe that things that I have seen, I mean I am pretty sure I am getting closer to being just like Indiana Baggins, I mean he was awesome and all that but I may be able to top that, nice dog by the way whose dog is it? But like I was saying, I have no idea where you guys went, I was hear with you with some crazy flying things, then the next thing I know I was somewhere else, not sure how I even got there, but it was crazy....
Sumak talks very fast and many of his words run together, and will continue to ramble until stopped, as he is excited to see everybody, but so lost in his rambling that he has no clue what is going on.
FYI I have respeced Sumak into a bard.

Rameth the Delver |

whatever. Can you fix that dress in there? Don't bother my dog.
Rameth scowls

![]() |

Dwalindor looks surprised to see the Halfling...half tempted to poke him to make sure it is not another ghost.
"Where in da blazes have you been? You could have helped with the bunnies, kittens and crazy talkin' heads. HAH! Welcome back."

Azubah |

"What? Oh, yes, Sumak, there you are." Azubah was in conversation with the ghost and forgot that Sumak had gone missing.
To Rameth he says "If I had a night to prepare, I could move the dress without touching it. I would not be able to repair it, though. Do you think it is worth enough money to make it worth sneaking back in here tomorrow? That is, if we don't get a pass to return here."

Rameth the Delver |

sneaking back in? No. But popping out and buying a scroll absolutely.

Sumak Wonderfoot |

wow, that is an amazing little tune, did you come up with it just right now, could you teach me??
Sumac asks the ghastly outline next to Azubah.
