First allow me to preface this with I am working and I am in school, there may be many times I'm the one hanging up the action. For this I apologize in advanced and hope you will forgive me.
That said, This is not going to be serious, at. all.
I want to have fun, you want to have fun, and if you aren't busting a gut and having fun, then I have failed. I'm going for Cool > Rules and Crazy Cool >> rules. That said, I may have you roll against a DC to see if it works. In short, don't take this game too seriously.
We do have a big group, so I'll be up front about this. If you haven't posted in 48 hours in combat, I'm going to take over and run your character until you get back. I'm in more than a couple of games where things are slow because of low post rates. I don't want that in this one because it is not fun.
Other than that, just report in and say hi. I'll be getting things prepped for your doo- I mean journey of enlightenment.
Oh, one other thing. Beyond the first part of the game, you'll be in complete control. You'll be determining the flow of the game and story, but be warned that there will be consquences for your actions, some of them not so pleasant... >:D

Ha - I am in one party with a Goblin Gunslinger and and Ogre Fighter. I figure the goblin should take a Flyby Attack Feat and then the Ogre can toss him over the enemy and he can shoot them from above.

Oh, and you can choose the human alternate trait to give yourself Str & Int, but you lose the Skilled and Extra Feat

One last thing before I post, do you have a preferred formatting for text? regular for thoughts and actions as well as bold for speech is pretty straight forward. My character will have quite a bit of internal dialog with his unmanifested blackblade, should I share these thoughts? If so, should I use italics or regular text with quotes?

Other than that wrap things in a [spoiler] tag that would take up too much space (a dozen die rolls) or stuff that would require a skill check, or being there to know. Like say you're off with another PC, then you and the other player would need to spoiler the text. Sorry if this is not very clear it's late and I'm having trouble thinking.
Sounds good! For my character, any italics will be the blackblade persona Alastor, and Gaius will respond to them out loud. There's too little room left in his head for his own mental commentary =P
@ Tenro/Zodt: Just to be clear mate, I've got nothing whatsoever against you, but, you know, Dwarves & Goblins=Not A Good Mix. Add to the Dogar's NE-ness, and general mean spirit, and he's pretty much gonna be on Zodt's case most of the time.
But I'm sure you expected such when you chose a pretty much universally hated race, no? If it ever gets to be too much though, just let me know and I can tone it down. Cool?
hah doesnt bother me as long as it doesnt come to actual attack rolls
and if it does, thats fine too, but dont expect him to not attack back :D

This ain't PFS. As long as you can live with the consequences, PvP is allowed. Also, just so you know, If you're character does die permanently, your replacement character doesn't have to be evil.

Not exactly sure what Lauran was looking for or referring to here, but I am pretty sure that Dogar qualifies as the 'burly' type. Perhaps not to his advantage ; )

What Lauran meant is she didn't see anyone who could take the enemy head on while she backstabs him. Dogar doesn't hit her as a warrior but more like a drunkyard... ;D
Zodt will backstab with you. Might not be head on but if we backstab quick enough we can bleed em down
My scimitar is relatively painful. Dawnflower Dervish gives me Dervish Dance at level 1, so I can add my dex to damage.

i think i did the map right, but i didnt see anyone else in the hallway. im not really sure what is going on but i will follow the flow of the party. i think i was the 3rd to leave the gear/food room.
