Pavanna Alazario
For her part, Pavanna winces at the fresh gouges struck into Olivius’ body, then reaches out with her wand and murmurs the command-word. “Pomocy!”
If they both keep taking punishment like this, Asuriel may not survive to regret linking to them! Even if I can’t reach her to treat the injuries she takes on, I can ease the burden before it reaches her.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
As much to her own relief as to Olivius’ or Asuriel’s, a brief, warm silver glow washes over the Chelaxian mercenary. When it fades, the slashes left by the dretch’s talons are gone, as if they never happened.
Standard action: Activate wand of cure light wounds (now 49 charges remaining) to treat Olivius’ injuries
[shrug] There’s not a lot else Pavanna can do from where she is, and she can’t move without compromising our positions or her status as a human tiefling lighthouse....
DM-Salsa
Heh, I hope you guys are enjoying this as much as I am. I'll give Olivius this one, but technically, he should be enlarged, and would have missed.
The demonic dog turns to vapor as Olivius hacks through it.
Asuriel Arktaros
Asuriel hears both of her comrades get hit and braces herself for the incoming pain, but it never comes as Pavanna is able to heal Olivius before it transfers. With a deep breath Asuriel skirts the outside edge of the pool and quickly makes her way around behind one of the enemy foes in flanking position. She swings her cold iron blade towards the creature.

I beleive we have Bless+IC up, everyone should be getting +2 to attack/+1 Damage.
Saroune Anzoletta
Thanks to the tight quarters of the room, many of Saroune's spells were dangerous to try and use. Instead, she balled up a piece of her will and sent it hurtling at the quasit.

Ping Ibbleting
Sorry, been a busy couple of days. Tomorrow's looking pretty bad too.
Ping screams in pain as the dog rips cloth and flesh, staining her leg and the stone floor crimson with her blood. As bad as the wound is, it could have been worse, and Olivius has already removed the threat of another bite. The gnome grits her teeth before skirting around the edge of the room and taking aim at the little demon reeling from Saroune's long-distance dope slap.
"I hope you choke on this," she growls as an icy dart forms above her palm and she takes aim.
Elemental Ray vs. Erylium Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Taking advantage of Olivius' distraction, both demons target him. The small flying one with a spell that he can feel trying to freeze his limbs. It almost succeeds, but the man proves that he isn't so easily felled.
The dretch has more luck, and mauls Olivius, claws and teeth finding the chinks in his increasingly battered armor.
The Sinspawn, tottering as if drunk, tries again to bite Thirzin, but the dwarf manages to duck and neatly avoid the following claws.
Noro rushes around the pool, intent on beating the unholy crap out of the two remaining melee combatants.

Bleeding strength with every wound Olivius and Thirzin suffer, and you dash into one-on-one battle with a fiend? Asuriel, are you trying to get yourself killed? Pavanna wonders, sighing to herself. Well, the less blood she sheds on their accounts, the better her chances....
Though every instinct born or trained into her very being sings for her to join the aasimar’s fight, helping Olivius stay standing will keep two of her comrades on their feet, so she sets her teeth and does her duty to her comrades... though she does spare a moment to compliment the oracle’s fine swordsmanship.
«Ну ударил, Asuriel!»
Standard action: Hit Olivius with the Happy Stick again (48 charges remaining)
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Saroune watches Asuriel's charge with equal parts admiration and frustration. The oracle's attack struck home, but now she was fighting the demon itself. She was in danger and Saroune wasn't sure she could help.
"Nethys's blackened body," the wizard curses, drawing energy from her body. She lets it build for a moment before unleashing it at the quasit.

Bleeding and seeing her plans go to pieces, Erylium desperately tries to use some part of her power without leaving herself open. The magic fizzles and the quasit goes to the opposite side of the pool from Asuriel.
"YOU WIll PAY! MOTHER WILL MAKE YOU PAY!"
Meanwhile, the dretch mauls Olivius savagely.
Olives takes 17 Damage.
Olivius_Telraven
Now at 3/23
Olivius is unaccustomed to defending himself without his shield, and it shows. The monster opens several gashes in his flesh, all of which start bleeding freely. The pain makes his vision fuzzy and his training re-asserts itself over the fear-induced rage he has been operating from. He draws his shield and executes a much more disciplined strike at the dretch.
AC now 20
attack+bless+inspire+flank: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 12
But the incredible pain and the lack of sleep from the nightmares gets to him, and the spear falls short. He moans as much from disappointment as from the feeling of ripping flesh in the wounds along his back and side.

Seeing his friend nearly falling, the dwarf swings his duergar, the chain going not in an arc, but in a straight line. The weapon's heavy weight destroys bone and leaves not only bruised flesh but massive internal bleeding to the enemy.
"Don't fall yet, my friend!"

Horatio A Aldebrandt
"Come on, big guy. Can't have you bleeding all over the floor. Sta pe picioarele tale!" Horatio chuckles, slapping Olivius on the back. A burst of blue light flares from his palm, before rushing over the now much larger man's body to his wounds. That done, he heads toward the last standing threat - the tiny demon at the far end of the room.
Cure light wounds on Olivius: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Standard action to cast, move action to move 30 ft closer. On my tablet, can't edit the map.
Pavanna Alazario
“Yes: it would be terribly rude to mess up our host’s carefully-coordinated interior, don’t you think?” Pavanna chirps. And if hearing us take her so lightly goads the quasit into more mistakes, so much the better. “Guest law works both ways, after all.”
Standard action: Aaaand one more whack with the Happy Stick, to make extra-sure Olivius is in fighting trim before we move on to dealing with Erylium.
(Is this going to be Pavanna’s future career-arc: professional pocket-mage? :-S I know I said I’d be happy with her staying a heal-bot, but still....)
Cure Light Wounds on Olives: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 (47 charges left)
Move action: Sheathe wand again. Pavanna will have to move into the attack next turn.
Asuriel Arktaros
Thank god you guys are keeping Olives on his feet!
Asuriel's blade was expertly placed and she expected the quasit to fall from her ferocious attack, but yet the tiny creature did not. She issues a nonsensical retort of some kind, but it matters not.
Tough, this demon.
Asuriel hears chatter behind her, but understands none of it. In fact it doesn't even register that her allies could be getting harmed behind her. She is focused on subduing this creature at all costs and ending this battle. She moves around the bubbling pool and swings towards Erylium once more.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 = 7
DM-Salsa
The cowardly demon flies up and back across the pool, apparently desperate to get away from Asuriel.
"PAY! YOU WILL ALL PAY! THE MOTHER WILL HEAR OF THIS AND FEAST UPON YOUR ENTRAILS!"
Erylium is at 27/35 HP. Have fun. She withdrew and flew up to ten feet above the dais as well as moving across like she did.
Olivius_Telraven
Now clear of both enemies and wounds, the adrenaline of pain and battle both sets his blood on fire. He drops the shield and spear and scoops up his polearm.
C'mere little devil! He sneers in an accent completely unbefitting a caravan guard. It was taunting... dark. He knew exactly what he was doing, and what he was doing it to. He stalks across the floor and up the stairs, an avatar of doom with a Thassalonian weapon of wrath.
drop weapons = free
retrive polearm = move

Noro Kas
Noro has no ranged weapon to use on the stupid little demon. so she grabs the nearest thing, a dead sinspawn.
she drags it closer and lifts it over her head and hurls it at the demon, get down here ya little shit.
improvised thrown body: 1d20 + 4 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 - 4 + 2 = 8
Horatio A Aldebrandt
Oh, that's just not cricket!
Lessee... demon flying 10 feet out of reach. No spells that will help. No chance of damaging, since I'm looking at 1d6+1 damage with a shortbow.
Man, looks like my best option at this point is to try to whip her out of the air, but I don't even know if that's a thing I can do. :/
DM-Salsa
I've been forgetting to apply the DR and the Fast healing, so instead of trying to retcon it, I've just decided that the little bat doesn't have them, so fire away!
Pavanna Alazario
[facepalm] Really, GM? After all that fuss we made over researching the thing’s weaknesses and powers, and obtaining the necessary countermeasures? #smh #rolleyes
OTOH: even if her DR was an issue, Ronnie, those cold iron arrows Pavanna split with Horatio would/should sidestep it. ;-)
Pavanna’s smile bares teeth as the quasit flies out of the reach of most of the others — and clears the line of fire. “Horatio, that’s our chance!” she cries. Shifting to let her shield and sword fall to the floor, she takes a half-step back to ready her shortbow and nock one of her new cold-iron broadheads.
Swift action: Activate Archaeologist’s Luck (6/6 rounds remaining)
Move action: draw shortbow
Standard action: shoot! (cold iron arrow, leaving 9 remaining)
Shortbow - fatigue + AL + Bless + IC: 1d20 + 3 - 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 3 - 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 12 Rats!
Unfortunately, the quasit is a small target, darting back and forth unpredictably. The shaft Pavanna looses misses by a foot, chipping the wall behind the demon then clattering harmlessly to the floor.
DM-Salsa
[facepalm] Really, GM? After all that fuss we made over researching the thing’s weaknesses and powers, and obtaining the necessary countermeasures? #smh #rolleyes
Hence why next time I'm putting everything in a spoiler so I don't forget. And if I do, one of you can remind me! ;D
Asuriel Arktaros
Question - I crit her for 17 and she's at 27/35 still? Also I'm fine if you want to retcon her DR and healing, I should have bypassed it on my hit anyway.
When the little pest flies away out of sight Asuriel grumbles and looks back to Noro and shouts, "Кто-то бросить Норо вверх на ту вещь, поэтому она может захватить его, прежде чем он улетает!"
Thirzin Bronzebeard
The dwarf drops her duergar and pulls the bow from his back, sending an arrow hurtling towards their rapidly escaping foe.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
The arrow catches the beastly little thing square between the shoulders, a loud call raising from Thirzin's lips.
"No, she won't!"
