After munching a bit, and apparently heedless of the multiple claw wounds he's recieved, Dakkar noses into the cave the creature came from to see if it had any treasure worth mentioning.

Dakkar does confirm that the dracolisk is made of edible (to him, at least) meat.
Looking into the cave, he sees that the monster had hoarded a fair amount of treasure. Heaped in the back are 1836 gp, 2379 sp, 554 cp, 16 amethysts (20 gp each), 20 beryls (50 gp each), 14 diamonds (100 gp each), and 6 sapphires. There is also a +1 breastplate, masterwork longsword, boots of the enduring march, a bottle of messages, a small pouch of dust of tracelessness, a fan feather token, and wand of stone call with 7 remaining charges.

Dakkar similarly looks around for statues that are either in sufficiently good shape they could be recoverable, or are of animals that would provide more variety than a future of cured dracolisk.

Dakkar's philosophy on wasteland survival; these places tend to have little game but surprisingly many viscous monsters, so you just have to eat the monsters.

Fenwick doesn't find any salvagable statues, nor does he detect any magic. He does see there's a cave on the other side of the gorge.
You also know that the actual monastery is supposed to be a few miles further.

The bag itself turns out to be a bag of holding (type II). Within is a +1 dagger with a jeweled scabbard (worth 100 gp), a scroll case with a scroll of fly, an elixir of tumbling, a masterwork set of thieves' tools, an emerald ring with 75 gp, and 57 pp.
