We are picking up our 5 year old grand daughter Saturday, 07/29, and will have her till Monday, 08/07. Sunday 07/30 & Tuesday 08/01 & Wednesday 08/02 & Saturday 08/05 & possibly other days will be jammed packed with doing things with her, while the kids are on an adult vacation to the west coast. While I will try to keep up, but don't be surprised if I miss a couple of days during this time frame.

Wow. My oldest niece is about to make me a great-aunt. I don't feel old enough to be a great-aunt. My brother is also not old enough to be a grandfather. In my mind he's still my baby brother, and a young man.

Morphic Nature
Each time you traverse an interplanetary gate, you automatically
adapt and acclimate to a new world.
Prerequisite: Player character
Benefit: When passing through an interplanetary gate, you experience an instantaneous and permanent physical transformation to facilitate survival on a new world. This includes environmental compatibility with the local atmosphere (as determined by the planetary atmosphere at the time of the gate’s crafting, but not the ability to survive in a hard vacuum). You also acclimate to local diseases, such that you still prove susceptible to disease, but retain no special vulnerability to alien pathogens on other worlds. You also learn the rudiments of the local Common language, speaking, reading, and writing a passable dialect (though this may not become evident until interacting with a given world’s native inhabitants). When you pass through a gate to another planet, these benefits are lost or exchanged for acclimation to the new world.
So, ummm, question. Did we gain a Mythic Rank in order to have a Mythic Feat?

Yeah, that's life for you.

I'm good with you getting the belt. I can't use it. Seems to me the barbarian could use it best. Just my vote

Here is what the Players Guide says about skills:
Skills
In-game skills provide reliable ways of overcoming obstacles in a sword-and-planet multiverse, and will therefore play a key role in this adventure path. These adventures necessitate that characters overcome both the physical and mental challenges imposed by entirely new worlds, technologies, and adversaries. Thus, spending skill ranks on skills which aid in exploration, such as Climb, Perception, Survival, and Swim, will provide ample opportunities for a PC to shine. Similarly, social skills will prove an absolute “must” in interacting with other cultures—either by placating them, winning them over to the PCs’ cause, or perhaps just aggravating and stymieing them on the battlefield in order to impress or inspire potential allies.
Lastly, one additional note should be made regarding Knowledge skills. Given the wide range of locations characters will visit and explore, they may endure circumstantial penalties to know the intricate details of other technologies, creatures, and regions beyond those they call home. Even so, Knowledge skills involving arcana, dungeoneering, engineering, and even geography will provide important, relevant information regardless of where these adventures take the PCs. And, in some cases, they may prove vital in solving various mysteries and opposing certain enemies.
=========================
For "technology" types of Knowledge, Engineering would perhaps be the best fit. The Alien technology is supposed to be, well, alien to you guys at least for a while longer.
As you become more familiar with the technology, I will pull in some of the Starfinder Engineering skill rules for weapons and others as needed. As the final couple of chapters in this AP are not out yet, and it sorta looks like they may have much more technology stuff just from the generic adventure description, I do not want to commit too much at this time.
That said, Engineering looks like it would be the best all around technology fit, especially once the Starfinder rules get pulled in.

Starting tomorrow, I will be visiting with family for two weeks so I will not be able to post regularly (if at all) until the beginning of October. Please bot me as necessary.
DM Papa.DRB
My schedule for this coming week, for all my games (DM or player):
Wednesday: 09/20 – Go home from campground
Thursday: 09/21 – Take grand daughter to Bronx Zoo and collapse after getting home, so no posts
Saturday: 09/23 – Drive to Boston MA area (Quincy)
Sunday: 09/24 – Wife 50th High School reunion
Monday: 09/25 – Drive home, then back to campground
Saturday thru Monday I will be without computer, or exhausted, so no posts from me.
DM Papa.DRB
Yesterday at the Bronx Zoo was great. But at 70 years old (me), chasing an energetic, rambunctious 5 year old around for 7 hours was a lot. My wife and I are still tired, but I will have a post out later today.
.
As my last post about schedule said, this Saturday thru Monday I am out of contact, as we are going to my wife's 50th high school reunion on Sunday. After today, next post will be Tuesday.
Hilde Tuva
Sorry for disappearing, thanks for botting Hilde. Got some very weird days over here.
So... how hurt Hilde is? I think you have her "old" HP total (she has 60 now).
DM Papa.DRB
Sorry for being unavailable. Camping season is over. Sunday and Monday packed up stuff, closed camper, packed cars came home, and spent the Tuesday and Wednesday getting things put away. It is surprising how much "stuff" we had in the camper that needed to come home.
We also both have had doctor appointments this week. My wife found out yesterday that she needs surgery, so around November 15th I will be unavailable for a few days. Not an emergency, but at our ages, any surgery can be harsh.
Will have a post out later today. Need to spend time with wife.
Min Zuin
Do you spend the summers camping and the winters in your home? I think that's my hubby's dream retirement.
DM Papa.DRB
Thanks guys.
@Min - Yup, mid May thru Columbus Day weekend, we spend only Sunday afternoon thru Tuesday morning at home (laundry, my part time Monday after noon job, my wife Monday afternoon at the SPCA), and the rest of the week at our camper. I've been retired for almost 8 years, but my wife only 3.
DM Papa.DRB
Apologies for being absent for the last ten days or so. Between preparing for my wife surgery and my own medical issues it has been a hard time for both of us. Now that she is home, and beginning the mending process, I have significantly more things to do as she can not do most of her normal activities till after New Year, so I will be doing them. Also I have to do a few additional four hour shifts at my part time job because two folks have left for better opportunities.
Therefore I have decided that I need to cut down on my own activities, and the easiest way is to not be involved with so many PbP games.
Currently I DM six games, and play in two. I am cutting that number in half.
I am dropping the following three campaigns:
Darklands (solo)
Legendary Planet
Rise of the Runelords 2
If you can find a DM to take them over, I will work with them to let them know where you currently are and any information that they need to continue. The other three campaigns I will continue to be the DM, and have a post out Tuesday.
I will be dropping out of the following campaign, bot me as needed till the end of the current activity, and please remove both my alias from the active list, thanks.
