I have cleared out the loot from the spoiler except the potions and scroll. We have 3 unidentified potions, can we identify them either by one of us or someone in town?

There are only two or three spells that I will accept outside of the original list, and Masterwork Transformation is one of them, so yes, you can memorize that.

@Zaladrel - I have to read the book more to comment on that. Will look at it later tonight and have a comment in the morning.

@All - I will move the game forward no later than Friday morning to the next Chapter.

Using Magic Items

Follow the instructions in the above paragraph, so yes you can get scrolls, however you have to have the base sphere associated with the scroll in order to use them.

You have the Life and Fate spheres.

Life would include conjuration (healing) scrolls, etc.

As a general heads-up, next week I'm going to be embarking on an extended family/Christmas vacation time. Party loot has been updated except for the rod which Iskender has. Anyone want a potion of CLW or anything else in party loot?

I'm also good with what I've got, but would be happy to hang onto one or both of the potions to make sure they're handy. I'd suggest giving them to Hilde, though, as she's the only one in the party who cannot now, and (unless she multi-classes) never will be able to cast healing magic herself.

She won't be able too, but she has her friends to help her out! :D

Our dog, Amarillo, crossed the Rainbow Bridge this weekend, and my wife and I are still grieving. I'll have something out tomorrow.

Thanks for the kind words. I needed a couple of extra days to grieve. Feeling somewhat better now as wife and I went looking at adoptable dogs yesterday afternoon at a local rescue.

Question I don't know the answer to:
Hilde, raging, has claws. Can she do non lethal damage with them? With a penalty to attack? To damage?

It's usually a -4 to hit to do that.

Sorry. I missed the last step on the stairs from the 2nd level to the 1st floor and fell Thursday morning. Put my elbow thru the wall (nice hole), thankfully missing the studs, but wrenched my back badly. Other than a few minutes sitting, I have spent the time l laying down. Feel much better today and am getting caught up on my PbP.

After the snowstorm (2 feet here) a week ago Tuesday and the dig out Wednesday, I came down with the flu. Finally got a nights sleep without chills / sweats so I should be on the mend. My wife just told me that if I am well enough to sit at the computer, then I am well enough to take her our for our weekly lunch date (which we missed last week), so I will do that, then come home and nap.

I'll have an update tomorrow (Thursday).

What is up with the missing new post numbers?
