not sure of going rates, but I suggest that since this has happened while under our watch, I suggest a fair if not a major discounted price.
.Suny.
1) How many boats did we save/fix?
2) For any boats we didn't save... we helped all the crew, yes?
3) How well can we go about the salvage of such boats? With the intent of claiming shine as well ass helpig their former crews?
(Yes, Suny is a big softy about some things...)
4) How long/muc effort has all this taken?
(I understand Suny being really busy and maybe no being there for the questioning of the rat fellow)
5) Where can Suny hide/secure the chest she spotted so tat she can open it up some where dry and safe?
(How big was the chest? There's no one in it,right?)
Much cheers and best wishes to all! (^_^)

Arjun counts fingers as he asks questions.
What is your name, profession, and home port?
Who is your employer?
What have you done for them before this job?
What are you supposed to do after?
Who are you supposed to contact after this job?
Where do we find them?
What other plans does your employer have for us?
Do you have any loyalty for your employer beyond your pay?
Would you be interested in an exciting new job opportunity?

4) The prevention of sinking was mostly accomplished via magic. But the full on repair will take at least a week. So far we are about 10 minuets into that week. About the time it took to capture and now interrogate the rat man. You can offer your assistance as much and as long as you wish.
5) With the crews beginning to arrive, you think the best way to hide the chest would be to quickly shove it overboard and use you ability to swim to retrieve it later. You also think that it is too smal for even a halfling to be inside.
The rat man squirms in his bindings as Arjun begins his questions.
I go by the Eel, I'm a bit of an alchemist and take on unsavory jobs for hire. As far as homeport, I tend to keep on the move.
My employer, I didn't catch his name but he was a muscular Garundi man with a shaven head, a long beard bound with gold rings, and an eye patch.
Before this job, I had never been in his employ. A strikingly fearsome fellow, I would have remembered him if I had worked with him before.
As for what I'm after, I was just to embarrass you as much as possible, and in as spectacular a way as possible.
I wasn't supposed to contact anyone after the job, he paid me up front but did take a lock of my hair as insurance. He said that if I did not do as I promised, his friend would hunt me down.
I'm not sure where you might find them, but if you keep me alive, maybe they will come for me? Right? Right?
I have no loyalty to him, and I don't mind making a buck if you are paying.
He says his last sentence with a renewed enthusiasm.

Goody. Okay, if'n peoples is aboard an' fixin' they's boats an' every thing is gooder then Suny is all wavein' an' smilin' an' sayin herg ood byes. :)

Okeys. Suny will simple put it some where on'a sand at tha' bottom of the cove. *Nods*
Suny emerges from the waters and staggeres to where every one is gathered and talking around a palm tree. She flops down on the sand and sighs.
"Ahhh! That were a whole lot'a work!" She exclaims. Then blinks, rolls over and looks at the person tied to the tree.
"Hey-YA there!" (^_^)

knowledge local: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Hearing the description of the Garundi man with a shaven head, Noro tries to recall if she has encountered such a person before.
She will also canvas the other lords if they know of this person.
MichaelCullen
The rat man stares blankly at Suny, unsure of exactly what to think, but far too scared to say much at all. Deep in thought Noro has a realization, that description reminds her of one of the worst days of her life.
Noro the iron maiden
Harrigan Noro mutters after realizing who this rat is working for.
Noro ponders his answers. looks like you are our ticket then. If he has a means of tracking you down, and you stay with us. then we can lure that SOB right into our clutches and then we can lay claim to all that was once his.
Arjun Srivastava
"Sounds like a plan, boss lady." Arjun turns to the ratman. "Eel, good news! You get to- wait a minute." He rubs at the stubble on his chin in thought. "Eel. Eel? Eel? No, I don't like that name." He sheathes his dagger and claps the prisoner on the thigh. "We're going to keep calling you Mr. Whiskers. That is a much better name for you. It is playful and clever and I love it. Also, my dagger named you, and I don't think you want to insult it." He begins to untie the ratman. "Now, where was I? Oh, yes. Mr. Whiskers, good news! You get to live another day! If you are cooperative and useful, we will see that you continue to live and receive a fair share of booty as a member of our crew."
He finishes untying the prisoner. "And if you aren't, I will take the rest of your toes. And fingers. And teeth, and ears, and then tie you to the prow like a mermaid. Are we good?"
MichaelCullen
The Rat Man "Whiskers", nods in agreement, happy to have his fingers and toes.
The chaos of the moment seems to subside and The Master of Gales whips his cloak around himself and turns into a being of pure air Large Air Elemental in a loud commanding voice, loud enough to carry to the ships in the harbor, he declares Finish the repairs you have to make, in one hour we will hold the Pirate's Council.
With the council in an hour , is there anything you wish to do beforehand?
Noro the iron maiden
Ok folks we got 1 hour!, get this place cleaned up. Move it! Noro commands her crew, as well as any that will listen.
she then goes to get another bottle of Harrigan's rum. taking a swig she looks to the other in her party. Well, guess its time ta vote if we are in.
"Sunny"
Sunny will help gets things back to 'Ship-shape'. (^_^)
Dimitrious Black
Prestidigate whatever needs a good cleaning
.Suny.
Suny will also see about getting some healing attention to Mr Whiskers. Is no good hain' a bod leakin' every where! Completely un-professional, t'is. :P
Arjun Srivastava
Arjun doesn't have any other preparations to make, other than ensuring Mr. Whiskers makes it on board their ship. He returns after escorting the ratman and finding a babysitter to make certain he doesn't try to escape.
"Looks that way, captain. Hopefully our show of competence will be enough to sway their opinion."
MichaelCullen
The Pirate Lords gather in the feast hall you made. It is an odd assortment made even odder by the bedraggled looks of some of the pirates, coming just from supervising the repairs of their ships. Once assembled, the Master of Gales looks around and speaks in a booming voice, This has certaininly been an eventful meeting, these pirates have tamed this island and have shone some ability to defend it. What remains is to see if we feel they have done well enough to join our council. It is time for a vote. All those against stand and raise your voice.
No one seems to take the Master of Gales up on his invitation.
All those who think they should join our infamous ranks, stand and raise your voices.
A cacophonous noise erupts in the hall as nearly all the lords rise and raise the drink and yell.
So it is done. A full meeting of our council will take place in Port Peril in one month. You will have a seat and a vote. And you will meet the Hurricane King.
The pirates intend to spend the night and most plan to set sail in the morning, though the damaged ships may not be seaworthy yet.
Tessa Fairwind comes over and is one of the first to congratulate you. I knew I saw something in you. It seems that your old enemy has become ours. Or at least some of ours. I look forward to seeing you, my friends, on the council.
Now accepted as Pirate Lords in your own right, is there anyone else you wish to talk to before your peers depart?
.Suny.
Sense Motive:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Sunny is happy to skip and bounce around making freinds.
Diplomacy:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

Noro the iron maiden
Noro nods her acknowledgement, and appreciation. She smiles and accepts the congratulations from the others as she mingles among the other lords.
as the night wears on, Noro makes it a point to meet with Tessa, as privately as possible.
I want to thank you for your support. Things were a bit questionable in the beginning. But we finally have gotten thing together.
She steps closer to her. you will always have an ally with me. and I hope we can continue to...work... together
Noro is kind of hitting on her a little to see what kind of response she gives. and react approriately
Arjun Srivastava
Arjun enjoys the pomp and circumstance of the proceeding, trying his best to keep a silly grin off of his face.
Afterwards, he quietly inquires with other pirate lords if they have a recommendation for a haberdasher. After all, how can you call yourself a pirate lord without a cunning hat?

With morning comes a good tide and fair winds. Those pirates whose ships are in decent shape leave at morning light. Hopeful to get at least a week of raiding in before the pirate council in a month requires their presence at Port Peril. Do you wish to spend your time here or raiding before the council meeting? At some point you will also need to appoint some form of vice governor to see to the affairs of the island while you are gone.
Dimitrious Black
I don't know about the rest of you but I am tired of being on this hunk of rock
How about the leader of the cyclopes for vice guv' na'
.Suny.
While part of me doesn't mind the idea? I am not sure if the fellow (Lass?) is quite up on the nicer side of things when it comes to governing... while not eating... those being looked after. :P
The cyclopeses cancertainly be working into the 'Enforcer' side of things. :)
MichaelCullen
Your crew makes the ship ready to sail. Supplies are loaded and the winds are favorable. All that remains is deciding who to appoint to govern in your stead and what to do in the time leading up to the Pirate Council in Port Peril. It is about a week’s journey and you have a month. You have time to, pirate, visit somewhere, or get to Port Peril early and explore/ politic.
.Suny.
Um.. 'Ships' that be plural, right? Sunny has loyal crew an stuffs. We's ready ta' be helpin' captain Noro in baggin' swag an' plunder! (^_^)
I dun't know who t'is we should be askin' ta' look after tha' place. Is ther any one amongst the assembled crowd who'd like a promotion, perhaps?
Dimitrious Black
Fishguts for Guv'Na', Fishguts for Guv'Na', Fishguts for Guv'Na'
Noro the iron maiden
I recommend Sandara Quinn to run things here. She was key in helpin us get started on this journey, we might not be here now if not fer her.
thinking a moment, Fishguts, should be Lt. Guv'Na' if anything he will be challenged enough to keep dem giants fed.
As fer the rest of ya, we got some piratin' to do.
we should see about plundering some merchant vessels on our way to Port Peril
.Suny.
Suny chimes up "Fishpok fer... um... Big Thumper!" She tries to explain her thinking in the common tongue.
(Basically pointing out that our frindly, allied giant freind should be given a 'political' boost to maybe help with the cyclopses. We need a seniour 'Policing' figure, right?)
.Suny.
Suny is quick to give Sandara a congratulatory hugging for her promotion/elevation. (^_^)
She's also quick to give Fishpok a congratulatory hugging for his elevation to Constable.
"Yay! You is a 'Constable'!" She enthuses. "Is meanin', when folks go an' try an' do somat whut tha' Governor says be wrong you get ta' be sayin' they can't be doin' it." She grins.
"Like, in'a rilly big way!" (^_^)
*Giggle*
Before bouncing off to say her cheery-o's to those other island folks whom she's freinds with and will be staying on the island (The Nereid and such) which also involves a lot of hugging.
Suny then makes sure she ahs all her crew and her ship is supplied and ready to sail in assisitng Captain Noro.
MichaelCullen
It sounds like the time will be used for pirating.
Noro takes the ships <== plural ;) on course for a common shipping lane through the northern part of the shackles. She places the pirate ships near an island so that their silhouettes are not immediately apparent. The days roll on but after days: 1d7 ⇒ 5 waiting the sails of a merchant brig crest the horizon.
Brigs are fast and maneuverable, but you may be able to catch them by surprise.
Or perhaps you can do something to slow them down?
If you just want to run them down, give me profession sailor checks from Noro and Suny.
.Suny.
Ooops! Sorry!
Prof Captain:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Prof Sailor:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Suny extors her crew (And ship) into action, using her ship's special qualities to 'heard' the merchantman into Captain Noro's waiting flags/sails/(Insert nautical term)
(^_^)
Dimitrious Black
I don't need a chronicle sheet
MichaelCullen
Noro’s proffesion sailor as well: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
Suny takes her ship and begins herding the other ship towards Noro’s waiting sails. Similar to the pack tactics of wolves. Taking a keen reading of the wind, Norois able to cut them off and prevent an escape.
Do you wish to close and board, close and shoot at, ram, something else?
"Sunny"
Give 'em a holler an' order 'em ta' heave too!
They can't defend 'em selfs from both sides at once!
Dimitrious Black
Load the cannon with a chainshot round in case they are thinking of running
Noro the iron maiden
thanks for the roll for Noro, been a little busy.
Bring the ship in, prepare to board Noro commands the crew. she takes the wheel Hoist the black. she orders hoping the sight of the flag will better serve to demoralize the enemy.
not sure if people know, black was slang for pirate flag (like hoist the colors but since pirate flags were traditionally black the term changed.
MichaelCullen
Trapped between a rock and a hard place, well trapped between your two ships, the vessel first tries to outrun you before deciding that a fight is inevitable. Noro/Suny: 1d2 ⇒ 1 Noro's ship is closer and is able to pull up along side. Sunny's ship is only a half minute away. As you pull up the topside of the ship is deserted. Though there are signs of recent activity.
If you want to wait for Sunny's ship to pull up there is nothing stopping you.
