Venture Captain Dreng is convinced that someone is setting up an unauthorized, and potentially harmful Pathfinder Lodge within the city of Kaer Maga. A letter from an ally, one Horis Collgardie says as much, and Dreng has asked you to investigate, locate these Pathfinders, and order them to stop immediately, or risk having all Pathfinders banned from the city. Sending you from the Grand Lodge in Absolam across the Inner Sea to Varisia, you have made it to the Halflight Path, so near the city, when a horde of goblins breaks through the wall to attack!!!
Fighting your way through, you finally make your way to the city itself, only to find it is a massively crowded den of villainy and scoundrels. Locating your contacts house, you arrive to find him dead, and are immediately attacked by a group of thugs looking for his murderer.

That's what I was thinking. You where late additions that followed their trail. There is actually one more I am waiting on to jump in, so if she comes quickly I was going to try to introduce you all before I go.

Evigail really surprised me a few times. My first impression was that his build was really underpowered, but after a few shots from that blast, it's actually very funny and effective.

And I was just thinking, maybe the Healing Hex would work, but it does specify Cure Light Wounds. :(

Believe it or not, I actually do want you guys to both win, and more importantly to have fun, so I really hate it when players go down and can't participate. In all actuality, those where supposed to all be lethal hits, but things where going so poorly, it would have been a TPK. A lot of it from poor rolls.

Alright - I'll be here. Sorry for the delay. I misunderstood which forum/thread to post in.

As a hello to the rest of the group. I'm Tilda, a human barbarian 2/oracle 1. I have a couple wands, limited spell casting, and I walk swiftly with a limp. I lean toward the good side of neutral, and I serve Ylimancha.

developing back-story:
When I was much younger, my father taught me how to sail. One day while out at sea, a wild story blew in. I was not yet proficient with all the riggings, and a lose rope cut me deeply. While this was going on, I saw a strange, winged creature in the sky; he seemed to ride the clouds. Soon there were two of them; my father and the other sailors launched harpoons and other heavy weapons at the creature, but it was to no avail. Eventually, after raining hail down upon us, causing severe damage to our ship, we managed to drop lifeboats and sail away from the storm. The entire experience was harrowing, but I felt something stir within me. Once we were clear of the storm, I fell into shock; a beautiful woman with a seagull's body greeted me. She claimed me for herself, and I became her weapon against a powerful demon. Since then, I've continued my travel on the seas, protecting people who dwell on the coastlines from both the weather and marauders. My captain decided to explore a little further south, landing us in Brinewall. It was there that the entire crew died, and I was captured by strange black bird creatures. I was made their prisoner, and learned more of this demon my sovereign opposes, Pazuzu, as all the castle denizens venerated him. Much to my happiness, a motley group of young men and a creepy lady-lich-gnome freed me, promising to return me safely to Kalsgrad. On our way there we encountered another of these terrifying flying creatures who ride the storms; two people understood the ramifications of his appearance and the team promptly slew him. I then recognized the importance of this Hala demon and his direct ties to Pazuzu. Finding reunion with my family trite, I joined the Society, hoping to spread the influence of Ylimancha and work toward vanquishing all demonic presence on Golarion.

Heh I am underpowered, that's the more interesting play for me :)

The blast would have been more effective if I rolled while they guards where still on the wall :p.
That said I did max out my healing capabilities & can spend the spells to keep the dhampir err... alive.

I meant along the lines of caster focused. Most Ive seen tend to be one trick ponies that die out around 3rd level.

They where right in the middle, but have both been killed. The Bard, (did anyone make that check?), is at the far right of the map, near the piano, and getting cover from it, Silenced.

If by jerk move you mean casting spells that could have some negative consequences on the party, then you're cool. Stuff happens in the heat of battle.

If that's not what you meant, then you haven't done anything I perceive as a "jerk move" so you're golden in my eyes.

In round 3. Most people just close the distance to the evil bard. From what you said you still have your action from this round.

Yeah, I moved in R1, attacked in R2, and moved again in R3. Still waiting to hear about whether or not I can get up unto the stage or if we must go around.

OK R3 is a double move for me as well. Not sure the villain did something in R2 (or R3 for that matter).

Maldoc it is either a climb, jump or go around. In the interest of time, I would give GM a roll for both skills, & he can say when he gets back.

That would be my guess as well. I would do that but I might need to see what the villain does first before I commit to actions. He might do something surprising.

I think the villain started up a bard song on round 2. He might have moved back by the piano on round 3, but I'm not entirely sure.

In previous games with Beckett, when he gets called away from computer access it is usually for 10-14 days. Today is the 10th, so hopefully things will be running again soon. In the meantime, some IC chat (obviously taken out of timing) just to pass the time.

I think we will be with part 1. I suppose part two could be a part of game day if Beckett wanted it to be & hasn't already signed up for two. Or we can do part two afterward (presuming everyone wants to play these characters in Game day).

I apologize again for the delay. It's crazy here this time. I have updated my games multiple times, and when I come back to check it has gone through. Then I check back the next day or so, and nothing. It's like someone is deleting my posts.

I have also lost Wayfinder. I am not sure if it just does not work outside US, or what, but it doesn't work for me now.

I am not sure what will happen for Game Day 2. I was thinking about doing part 2 as the game day event, and wondering who (if anyone) was still going to play. Any ideas or suggestions. I will try to be much better about posting, trust me, I hate it too, and I think it s ridiculous, also.

I'm actually thinking of doing a rebuild on Umaro. I threw him together quickly and didn't really know what I wanted. But I'm still interested in doing part 2 of this one with you guys if others are in.
