Zamanda responds to Kalem with a laugh and says
Well, it might not be a waste of time to kill it. We don't know what it can do, or if it is turning into some blood golem or something, so I think best bet is just to end it now.
Then, glancing apologetically at Bash, she says
Probably won't be much of a delay. That way it can't come up from behind while we're fighting the queen.
She shoots it.

Short before the pool, Bashiel activates his angelic bond, covering all the party with its mantle.
Laori jiggles at Kalem's ingenuity "It seems you and me have some work to do to join the Winged Heroes team, Ilsa! j~!jiz!"
Zamanda attacks the blood figure, the arrows draw little holes in the crimson liquid as they go through, just to close up quickly afterwards without leaving any damage on it.
Kalem has a chance to do something if he wishes so.

Kalem spread his wings and moved in. Feeling confident, given that all the ooze had done thus far was talk, he swung his scythe with skill and ease. He wondered if the creature could survive without a head, and decided that the scientific process required him to conduct the experiment.
GM Rutseg
Kalem's experiment finds out the amorphous nature of the liquid has no vital points. The slashing scythe though, seems to be effective against the creature, although not as much as Kalem would hope DR, resist cold and electricity (but not fire). The last two swings are dodged by the bloody liquid. Even if Inspire Courage
The creature is not shaken by the mighty cornugon smash. The head remains severed, falling to the pool, but the liquid keeps moving as if that has no real effect on it, other than being smaller.

This thing feels like something that we really would have benefited identifying with dungeoneering... I'm keenly feeling the lack of knowledges on Bashiel! Seems like slashing might work?
When Zamanda's arrows rip through the blood ooze without injuring it in the least, Bashiel is left to ponder the best way to handle things. Just after Kalem and Ilsa rush in, he stows Serithial and flies in to at least provide Kalem with a flank. He draws a longsword as he goes. His fly speed is slow enough that his only path in includes provoking an AoO

When she sees Bash start to put Serithial away, Zamanda comments that he might want to keep it out and at least try, since it is enchanted to help stop the queen, and this must be one of her minions.
She isn't sure how to proceed, but she strikes her bow and starts a song, seeing that this was going to be a real battle.

The blood figure seems immune to Ilsa's gaze, and the liquid changes its shape to avoid the claw, before reforming again in the same place.

I believe Bashiel is flying in wings, hence a Fly DC 10 is needed to avoid losing height and falling into the blood pool.
Zamanda's second arrow goes wide, but the first one crosses through the blood harmlessly. Or almost harmlessly, as the sonic reverberation seems to slightly damage the structure of the liquid.
"I do not know what it is, but it seems some kind of ooze!!!" shouts Laori, while casting an inflict spell, she holds in her hands, before moving to the edge of the pool and attempts to touch the blood, but almost falls and she just holds the charge in her hand.

Kalem's first swing almost went completely wide as he saw Laori stumble, but he caught himself and refocused on the task at hand. The best way to defend others from danger was to remove the danger. So he threw himself at the creature, slicing away with his scythe. Seeing that it was immune to the cold, the flames on his scythe burnt with flame only. He didn't know what was needed to destroy it, but he figured that with enough force and enough fire it should be possible.

Fly check to not fall: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Bashiel shields himself from being sprayed in the eyes by the mist of blood generated by Kalem's attacks. By the time he lowers his shield, the blood ooze is a puddle atop a larger pool of blood. Seeing in trying to pull itself together again sends a shiver down his spine. He takes a quick slash against the rising blob with his longsword, then tosses the blade side to draw Serithial once more - just in case the holy blade is able to put this... Did it say it was a Runelord?... thing out of its misery. He stabs once into the pool with the tip of the blade. (Good aligned, thanks to the holy property)
GM Rutseg
Bashiel draws Serithial and when he makes to stab the puddle of blood, the blade makes it through without dealing damage, the sword shape changes by her own initiative, broadening as if it was a longsword, and cuts through with holy energy. The holy and sharp steel of the blade seems like poison to the blood, that loses all its life and completely stops regenerating.
Combat is over!
Serithial becomes a rapier once more.
The only treasure left here is the sapphire the ichor wanted Ilsa to have. It seems pretty valuable (at least several thousands) and has something written on it, but you will have to pick it to read it.

My wings give me a fly speed of 30, which I am guessing means I don't have to roll to just fly normally, but please correct me if I am wrong. It also means that it will take 2 rounds for me to fly up, in case that makes a difference as events take place.

How long do you think it would take before the two of you could have dominated me, causing me to take my scythe to the team? Or Zamanda, for her to shoot us in the back? Well aware that his angelic wings are impeded by his weighty armor, Bashiel adds another layer of magical flight by invoking the inherent power in his armor (Flight mastery for 17 mins of the Fly spell. B20 The Everdawn Pool
This huge, lofty chamber is illuminated by braziers at the four corners. A soft light also filters from two very high oval windows on the southwestern wall. The twin windows are fitted with panes of blue crystal that filter in some light from outside. Below these crystal “eyes,” a band of mosaics on the south wall forms a huge map of an ancient, unknown land. The map features a river valley with many villages, each one labeled in a strange language. To the northeast, a shaft drops away in the floor. Yet the most unusual feature of the room floats and undulates at its center—an amorphous blob of blood, over thirty feet wide, hovers and ripples in the air. Shapes periodically form on its turbulent surface: faces, hands, buildings, and figures that last only long enough to melt back into the horrific mass. Dozens of thin crystal tubes extend from the upper walls of the room to a point just above the shifting mass of blood.
You recognize the blood here as The Everdawn Pool, a powerful tool that can be used to manipulate life and death.
The runelords of Thassilon had a long tradition of placing power into pools, liquefying and containing raw magic to harness for a multitude of goals. Their runewells are perhaps the most notorious of these artifacts, though others, like the Runeforge, exist. But they learned this technique from the artifacts of those who preceded them. The Everdawn Pool is one such artifact.
Unlike magical pools created by the runelords, it needs no well as a container—it is a 30-foot-diameter sphere of roiling, churning blood in which brief glimpses of limbs and faces (not all of them humanoid) constantly form and dissolve.
Records of where Sorshen first discovered the Everdawn Pool have been lost, if indeed they ever existed in the first place, along with any hint of who or what may have created this potent font of magical power (although certain obscure sources hint at Leng and the creatures known as the scarlet walkers that dwell in that nightmare realm). What seems certain is that she—and later, other runelords—were able to reverse engineer some of the Everdawn Pool’s properties and build pools of power of their own. In many cases, these pools even surpassed the Everdawn Pool. Certainly, the power of Karzoug’s Runewell of Greed exceeds that of the Everdawn Pool, as would, one would guess, the runewells created by those more powerful than him (Xanderghul, Alaznist, and Sorshen). Yet the Everdawn Pool remains the first. It provided a legacy that helped shape all of Thassilon, and was a significant part of what gave Sorshen the boost in power to claim and keep the role of Runelord of Lust for the duration of that ancient empire.
When you enter the room, Ileosa takes note immediately. The pool of blood shakes and rumbles. It ripples briefly into a familiar shape—the Korvosa skyline—only to crumble as if during an immense earthquake. A moment later, Ileosa’s beautiful but furious face appears in the blood as she shrieks in rage at the interruption—she has no speech prepared for you, only fury.

As the battle begins, the blood pool explodes as it gives body to an enormous, diseased, serpentine dragon—a physical manifestation of Kazavon infused with the source of the greatest pain and blight the queen inflicted on the city: blood veil.
The dragon roars, its presence frightful.
Will DC 25 or become shaken for as long as the dragon is present.
He opens its jaws and vomits a hideous gray cloud of disease particles over you.
Fort DC 27 negates: Str drain: 1d6 ⇒ 1 and you contract mummy rot (this is a disease effect)
Ileosa starts to sing, her voice inspiring courage to all her allies throughout the room. The crown of fangs, on her head, casts mirror image for her, 1d3 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8. Her gaze crosses with Ilsa's one, her eyes of charming automatically targeting her, to no effect. She casts a spell and a duplicate of herself appears and moves flying over you, while she flies back 10' over the ground and draws a rod.
Ilsa Will (fails on a 1): 1d20 ⇒ 8

Kalem stayed firm, only because of Bashiel’s reassuring pretense next to him. The Bloodrager steadied himself as sound and nauseating dragon-breath washed over him. Stepping forward white-wings formed on his back and he began the party by leaping forward towards the dragon without any thought towards his own safety. This was the final battle and he was ready for it!

(Can't make the knowledge history DC, and also I now have the ability to roll twice for initiative and take the highest. What's done is done, but in case it matters later...)

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (7) + 20 = 27 (pass)
Zamanda strikes her bow, the chime starting her song of courage. It contrasts with the other song in the room, but is still clear, speaking to you of the power to overcome even the most pernicious evil.
(Inspire Courage and Discordant Voice up)
She moves forward so she isn't over the empty shaft anymore, and so all the enemies were within the range of her discordant voice, and then she draws one of her Adamantine arrows and shoots at the only target she can be sure of... the dragon.
Attack: 1d20 + 24 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 24 + 2 + 1 = 47 (inspire, point blank)

Crit Confirm?: 1d20 + 24 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 24 + 2 + 1 = 36
Additional Damage if confirmed (x3 critical): 8d6 + 20 + 2d6 + 2d6 + 4d6 + 2d6 + 4 + 2 + 2d10 ⇒ (6, 1, 5, 5, 1, 1, 3, 5) + 20 + (1, 6) + (4, 5) + (5, 6, 6, 1) + (2, 5) + 4 + 2 + (2, 9) = 105 (x2 plus shocking burst)
No idea how hard it is to hit the dragon, but if that works, it is a sweet, sweet way to start a battle.

Zamanda speeds up and advances herself to act before the Queen.
The aasimar starts to sing and puts an arrow through the dragon's heart. His skin seems to resist all the energy damage except for the sonic one. And bonus damage dice is not multiplied in criticals, except for the burst extra damage ;)
The fake Ileosas start to chant ensemble, they all six cast the same spell in all of you: slow.

bonus damage dice is not multiplied in criticals, except for the burst extra damage
Sorry about that. Which part is the "bonus" damage I shouldn't multiply on a crit... the inspire and point blank, or all of the additions to the main number from gloves, discordant voice, electric+holy damage in the arrows from my archery skill, etc? (I wasn't sure because you said "except" the shocking burst, so was wondering if the normal elemental and holy damage is also not doubled.) Just so I remember to leave it off next time I get a crit.)

Caught by surprise, Bashiel is slowed by the first spell thrown toward him. The effect dispels the haste Kalem cast upon the whole group right before everyone entered, leaving Bashiel a good bit slower than the rest of the team.
He doesn't let it stay that way for long. He clicks the heels of his boots together (free action activate for haste), then flies in toward the blood dragon, offering a prayer to Osiris for protection as he moves. Lay on Hands, self, because I'm dumb and didn't heal up after that last encounter.

Badly hit by the disease breath, Laori brings up her painting brushes "Protect us spirits of Korvosa!!! Let us defeat the Queen's menace!!!" and all of you except for Ilsa, who she cannot see, undergo a bizarre transformation. You look and function normally, but you are suddenly composed of countless particles that separate and reconnect to remain whole.
You get fast healing 3, immunity to bleed and critical hits as for particulate form.
As this happens, the blood pool bursts again, producing a new dragon very much like the first one! The blood accumulation pulses and recedes becoming smaller as this happens though.
Avoiding the dragon's power thanks to Bashiel's intervention, Zamanda continues singing and starts shooting arrows at the newly appeared dragon.
Two of the aasimar's adamantine and holy arrows get through the dragon's skin, painfully stabbing on him, despite the electricity and acid not harming the beast.
Ileosa wrath increases as the blood pool is forced to expend its hardly worked blood in order to defend the Queen "I should have removed you all from the map in the first day you started to meddle in my plans. Now die!" she casts a spell and a magical fog appears among you, and despite not affecting your vision, it menaces to weaken your mind defenses.
Will DC 30 or suffer a -10 penalty to Wisdom and Will saves. Bashiel is out of the area.
She then flies over Zamanda's head, switching her singing to that of a frightening tune.
Will DC 32 or become frightened. Mind inspire courage and aura of courage bonuses.
Her gaze goes this round towards Zamanda.

"The pool is draining!" Kalem yelled out. "We can do this." He added, to himself, as he launched himself at an attack against the newly formed dragon. His scythe was a blur of motion as he attacked the dragon without hesitation. Few things could stand up against such a whirlwind of destruction, and he truly hoped that the dragon, already wounded by Zamanda's arrows, wouldn't be one of them.
Zamanda
Will Save (group attack): 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 15 + 2 = 30
Zamanda feels herself weakening and gives herself a boost with Timely Inspiration.
That should pass the test with an immediate action. Deducting the spell slot.

Zamanda recognizes the spell from a demonstration at school: Mind Fog. Dangerous. She is thankful that she was able to recognize and resist it.

Ilsa Dreambind

Ilsa squares her shoulders and manages to withstand the worst of the dragon's breath. Her mind--a steel trap--also cannot be overcome with the Queen's weakening magic.
Ilsa renews her efforts to make the despot her hypnotic stare target, then casts dispel magic on her to hopefully remove some of her magical protections.
"Your days of meddling in anyone's plans are finished!" Ilsa retorts.
The dark mesermist then moves into a flanking position with Zamanda.

Hypnotic Stare target: -4 Will, -3 attack rolls, -3 damage, -3 DC of spells, spell-like abilities and spell resistance (if demoralized, additional –2 attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks)
This could be important, but now that she's my hypnotic stare target, the DC of her spells and spell-likes is -3.
Bashiel Eland
!!! Wow, that's some crazy damage from Kalem. I'm guessing the dragon might be down again before it even got to do much. If the dragon is still up, he'll direct his attack below at the dragon instead. Otherwise, go with what's written.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (13) + 18 = 31
Recognizing the spell, Bashiel resolves to avoid the area as much as possible. Since Kalem seems to have the dragon well in hand, and Ilsa's spell seems to have neutralized all the duplicates, he takes this moment to fly at Ileosa. (Using quickrunner's shirt as a swift to move and full attack) His movement is lightning fast, reaching her in scarcely a second. He stabs in with his rapier, hoping that Osiris' guidance will take his blade through the real Ileosa rather than any of the mirrored duplicates.

Round 2: Kalem, Doubles, Ilsa, Bashiel, Laori, Round 3: Zamanda, Ileosa
Bashiel, after using the quick runner's shirt your turn would be ended so not possible to full attack this round. Shall I just take your first attack for a normal move+hit or you want to take a different action?
Without the dragon on the table, Zamanda can also go with her round 3!

Oops,I was still remembering the old quick runners shirt from before it got errata'd! Bashiel will instead smite her for +3 to hit and +21 to damage, then just make the first attack.
