Ok, I had to do a little shuffling around but I think I have this avatar sorted out with my character info as a PFS character. Please let me know if anything is missing.

Other than that, just to confirm how this works, OOC posting and discussion goes here while gameplay actions happen on the gameplay thread? I've done roll20 games before but this is my first play by post.

How do you want us doing the rolls?

You roll once for each category and can see the spoilered result you beat with your roll, provided you have ranks in them to get higher than 10 result.

Save for Gather Info, which is done via diplomacy.

Well, yeah, I was just wondering if you wanted us using any particular tracked program for the rolls or anything like that. If we're on the honor system that's fine too.

This is my first play-by-post also, and I am afraid I am not great at the forums. I know how to make my stats appear as a spoiler, but how do I get them to appear above my avatar on every post? Thanks! Looking forward to gaming with you all.

Januzaj, looks like you've got it. Most people use the Class line of the profile, but I think there is one other you can use.

It matters little which you use.

I do hope you've some means of healing, besides our witch.

Kutukan, just to point out, you're likely the party healer.
Personally, i'm not obligating you to anything, i'd switch the cackle out for Heal hex, which functions as CLW and becomes CMW on 5th lvl.
Then take cackle on lvl 2.

The heal hex is touch range and can only be used on each person once a day. The wand of CLW makes it obsolete unless it's running low on charges. Or I guess if the scenario neutralizes the wand, but that seems pretty brutal for tier 1-2.

I'm actually fine with using the 2 PP I have with this character to buy my own wand of CLW to have as a backup (assuming we have time between fights I'll switch them back and forth to keep the load even).

If we're underpowered for the scenario I think the move would be to switch out cackle for slumber. Usually people don't enjoy playing alongside the slumber-focused witch as much, but I can go that way if the rest of the party prefers it.

I do hope somebody is packing some potions of CLW in case I get knocked out.

Actually Januzaj can also use a wand of CLW. CLW is on the alchemist list. I'll go ahead and purchase a potion of CLW for the unlikely case that both Kutukan and Januzaj go down.

I do generally encourage anyone that has 2PP to spend them on a wand of CLW. I think everyone except Sago has enough prestige.

Up to you on slumber. I'm not a player who feels like it robs the fun. Its part of the game and sometimes very effective and sometimes not.

I am packing a CLW for my own use, but I can also pick up a wand with my PP if the GM will still allow for it. Not like I won't need it eventually anyway.

Looks like we're checking out the Honored Dead once Kardiv gets over his heebie jeebies. Seems fine to me, we're going to hit all of the rooms eventually so we might as well get started.

In the interest of not cluttering up the combat, I wanted to ask here, can go ahead and roll to try and id the baddies and figure out which ones are most dangerous?

You can roll on which one you want, but not as a group with just 1 roll.
3 of them are generally known undead, just with specific weapons of antiquity.

The only unarmed one is the seer.

I guess what I'm asking is if it looks like anybody is obviously in charge or noticeably badass.

Nope on 1st, but common sense would suggest whatever looks more fragile goes down faster.

Januzaj, i overlooked something, the scimitar didn't get +2 on dmg, so you're slightly healthier. Edited on combat map.

Of the 1st penalty? That penalty lasted for 8 rounds.
Failure of will vs a hex = 3+ witch's int modifier.

Pass = 1 round only.

Right, the pass is one round. I then cackled after the hex to make it last another round.

I think our confusion with the delays may be that Kutukan had already hexed the zombie. If that is the case, my round and Greydrake's should process before the baddies get to hit.

I typed it up before you guys, but it was out of my turn in order. I just wanted to make it clear that you were yielding to let me go first since we're all in the same initiative blob now. You guys should be after me but before the baddies, then I lead off next round.

I went ahead and typed in an action since the Zombie is -2 until the end of the battle. Not that it did a lot of good...

Do we want to head over and check the area in the back of the room? Anyone have the knowledge we need to make that roll?

I do not have the knowledge for it. You think it's more likely the spiffy knife comes in handy later or that trying to take it will make that guy wake up and try to kill us? Or maybe he'll wake up and try and help us out?

I wouldn't be opposed to taking the knife, or at least trying to.

I think I am going to retrain this guy once we are out of this adventure. I don't think my archetype is particularly useful.

Is that scribe dead or just negative hp unconscious?

Also, Januzaj, this scenario doesn't seem very alchemist friendly. IIRC you do a lot better with a day off between fights.

I played with a monk, the hall of the dead got us good too.
There was one in the group, the archer, who had the misfortune of missing every single shot he took.

The scribe is at -2, so if you want to stabilize him, go ahead.

Did Yannis take his -2 to hit in that last round?
