Augustina Grigorova
Once inside the building, Augustina checks with her own eyes that they're a numerous lot indeed, here at the post. She looks around, and when addressed she introduces herself and her cousin. "Augustina" she says, "and Sergei" she adds, pointing at the young lad.
She orders a pair of drinks and a platter of food, and listens to the conversation. It seems they're in need of a way to steadily supply themselves, and they have an idea for a banner in mind. All of these makes her believe they're starting a settlement somewhere. Well, since she's asked by a kind woman if she needs anything, and she might offer things in return, she feels it hurts nobody to ask.
Believing every word she's saying, she clears her throat and turns a bit up his voice, so as to be clearly heard among all the different conversations going on. "I am looking for information about a thief who calls himself the Stag Lord. I'm willing to pay for it or offer any other help I'm able in return, be it labour or other information in return."
Larin Linwrick
Larin does his best to remember everyone's names and faces, but looks confused at the mention of the Equinox Riders. "That's not a name I've heard before," he says. "Are you a local group? My family never got quite this far south, but it's not a Rostland name from what I recall."
He looks over at where some people are sitting at lunch. "Maybe we could chat over some food?" he suggests to the others. "On me, of course," he adds hurriedly, not wanting to be seen to be angling for a free feed having only just met everyone.
Autumn Moon
A bit of worry cam over Autumn's face at Sverlana's worried tone. She leaned down to be a bit more quiet "Is it bad? Should we do this first before I go shopping or dealing with anything else?" She asked before she heard the new comers speak. "One moment."
Autumn looked to Augustine and Larin, "We're the group that has been sent to take care of these bandits via a charter. It was Titian who suggested we have a name and a banner to help the people of this place see us coming for miles. So we're planning on taking care of this so called Stag Lord. Getting sick of dealing with these bandits..." Autumn explained trying to be as brief as possible. She had something else she needed to see to at the moment. "My friends here can answerr your questions. I've something important to tent to, so please excuse me." She explained.
Then Autumn looked back to Svetlana, to follow her to were they can speak alone. Or well... Mostly alone as Frostbite is still at Autumn's side.
Torek Vakt
After Augustina introduces herself and her young cousin, and Autumn speaks, Torek perks up at the mention of the Stag Lord. He says, "We'd be happy to exchange any knowledge of that Bandit Chief. May I ask what he is to you? Did he do some terrible harm to you and yours? He's done plenty to others after all."
To Larkin, "As Autumn said, it's the name we've given ourselves as we explore and try to uphold some justice in these lawless lands. This post is the frontier, beyond-" Torek waves broadly south. "-lies wilderness most treacherous. Savage beasts abound, frequent cold rains, somewhat reasonable but still dangerous kobolds, and as stated far too many bandits are about. Much needs to be done here-" Torek stops himself, "Pardon me, I should not lay our troubles on you, but if you seek anything beyond here, know that great dangers await. Anything specific that you want to know?"
Slightly revised post ninja'd by Autumn by less than a minute! So changed post a bit.
Augustina Grigorova
Augustina is relieved to hear that these people also have the "Stag Lord" on their aim. She was afraid they somehow sympathised with his cause, and that's why she tried to be neutral when addressing the matter.
"Well, this Stag Lord, as you probably know, has united many brigands and crooks under his command" she starts, "to the point my community had to pack and leave. I stayed because I won't allow a ruffian to call himself 'the Stag Lord', disgracing the name, and get away with it." While she speaks, Sergei nods quite full of himself, though he won't leave his cousin's company by more than a couple of feet.
This banner is quite a good idea" she goes on. "I bet, if you're looking to go after the bandits, that you might need some manpower for the task. Let's do this: I offer myself to help you, no fees, and I will carry that flag for you, if you tell me we'll be chasing down this bandit leader when we have a chance." She notices Sergei behind her, and finish with one last phrase. "I guess there's something Sergei can do while staying here, assuming this is your base for now."
Torek Vakt
Torek sighs at Augustina's words as more of the terrible deeds of the Stag Lord is revealed. "Oh there is so much there, I'm so glad that your people escaped from calamity, others are not so lucky." Torek notices her phrasing and asks, "We too dislike the disrespect this bandit leader shows to Erastil, the Stag God in his claiming of such a title, he needs to answer for all his crimes blasphemy included."
Torek continues, "We need every hand and sword we can get. Those of us in the Riders are all bear a charter giving us the lawful authority to judge banditry in these lands. At least to those that agree with Brevoy's claim to these lands."
Torek frowns, then says slowly "Our duty, and need, is to remove him but that is no easy task. He has many men, much control of them and is ambitious. We just stopped a group of them trying to build a fort at the closest ford not too far from here. To try that is no small feat in deep wilderness. We suspect that he controls a watchtower on a hill deeper in. But that is not our only concern, mapping this area for future settlement or even gaining influence here, is very important as well. We also wish to find some place that could please our divine patron but is hard to find. Again and again we find ourselves far too few, one reason we are leaving one member behind to oversee our affairs here because, yes, this is our base for the foreseeable future."
With a tiny chuckle, Torek says, "I have no doubt that Sergei can fit in usefully, talk to Brother Herger, his son should be about."
Autumn Moon
I apologize for the ninja'd post by waiting for yours! ^_^
Autumn's form visibly stiffened when she heard Augustina's words. A whole community up and moved? Because of this bandit who dared called himself Stag Lord? Finding the place Jhod spoke of was something she wanted to do before taking on the bandit leader. But if things were getting this bad... this needed to be taken care of now!
"Ulfger is right there Torek." Autumn said as she pointed with her thumb to the young lad speaking with the young lass. "I wouldn't disturb him right now though, not that you could get his attention." She added.
"Really you'll want to speak to Oleg, and Svetlana." Autumn said as she motioned to point the couple out. "They are the ones who might be able to help when it comes to, Sergei yes?" She asked to ensure she had the name right. "Hopefully, well be taking care of this Stag Lord soon."
GM Waterhammer
”I’m serving lunch now.” Svetlana explains to Autumn. ”What I have to say can wait “ She hurries to get food and drink for Augustina, Sergei, and Larin.
”Fine young men are in much demand around here. Master Cabbot and I have decided that Ulfgar is of most use clearing the fields for spring planting.” Oleg booms .”Draggin’ the line he calls it. Sergei can help with that too, I’m sure. “ A short, stocky man in a battered, shady felt hat nods his head in agreement.
Ulfgar shifts his attention to regard the newcomer, Sergei with suspicion.
Autumn Moon
With the matter of Sverlana's topic put off for the moment, though a bit of worry scratched at Autumn's mind, she turned her attention back to the group and the items she'd need from Oleg.
"Oh look at that, someone got his attention." Autumn joked with a smile. "Come on Oleg, let me give you some more coin. I've got another mouth to feed out there it seems!" She said as she motioned to Augustina. Then she paused for a moment and looked to Augustina. "Do you have a tent?" She asked. "I no longer use mine, so you're welcome to it. I the night watch for us." She explained.
Augustina Grigorova
Augustina checks with Sergei that he agrees to all of it. "You'll be fine here, these folks seem legit. This way we'll be together, and when you grow up a bit and learn more swordfighting you'll join us. It doesn't look like we're finishing this Stag Lord any time soon, anyway, so you have time to improve." She doesn't mention that, if they come from Brevoy with a charter, the territory will probably be under the King's rule, something her people wanted to avoid, but for now she'll have to accept whatever help comes her way.
Knowing that Sergei agreed just because there's no other plan still worries her a bit, but since she can't do anything about it she tries to move on and take on other matters. Smiling, she tends her hand to Autumn to seal the deal. "I'll take the tent offer."
Once at the table, she asks about things here at the post - what she's expected to do, who's around and all that. She's also curious about one other thing she heard. "Torek, right? You said Erastil is your patron?"
Titian Stagson
|
Seeing that the poor halfling has to really look very high up to him, Titian dismounts and gives Oleg and Svetlana a warm smile.
"It is very good that some people start doing honest work for their living again."
Looking at Augustina Titian can only shrug.
"We are closer now, we are chasing his men wereever we find them.
They are quite badly trained, but we are few and this is a very large area we have to explore to find the bandits hideouts."
He sighs and looks to the south. "Those we find often do not have a lot of inside knowledge, but we pierce together bits and pieces."
Putting his hand on the hilt of his arming sword he smiles and adds.
"His time is limited and we will bring justice to this area!"
Looking at Augustinas banner he smiles.
"You will find many followers of old one eye here, no worries!"
Larin Linwrick
"This bandit lord sounds like a big deal. Is he trying to expand his power?" Larin asks around a mouthful of bread. He wipes crumbs from his shirt and sparks of lightning briefly dance across his fingers. "Have his people been this far north?" he adds, a look of consternation crossing his face as he tries to remember that the trading post should now be considered the north, despite his native Rostland being the south of Brevoy.
He takes another mouthful of stew, the rich and meaty concoction warming his belly and lightening his mood. "So if you're all part of this group, who's your leader? I feel like I need to give this to someone," Larin suggests, pointing at the scroll on the table next to his bowl. "It sounds like my charter iss much like the ones you were all given."
Autumn Moon
There is no King of Brevoy right now. The whole royal family just kinda went poof and no one knows why.
Autumn steps up to meet her half way and shakes Augustina's hand. "I'll grab it after I put the rest of the things I'm about to buy with our stuff and bring it over. It just holds one person but it should be good for you." She explained.
She did chuckle a bit at her question to Torek though. "You'll be surrounded by Erastil worshipers. Herger is even a priest to Old Dead Eye. Torek worships, Titian worships, and I worship." Autumn said one of the titles of Erastil slightly slowed as she cast a small eye towards Titian. Once more she corrected him on that. However she said nothing more about it. "And we maybe taking on this Stag Lord sooner than you think."
Autumn opened her mouth to answer Larin, yet paused as she realized... She didn't have an answer to give. Closing her mouth for a moment again she thought on it before saying "We don't really have one. We've mostly made decisions as a group. I buy most of the group's needed items, cook, hunt, lead them through the wild, and take night watch because I don't need to sleep. Oh and I mend clothes that have been cut and torn in battle if I can...but I can't say we've any leader."
Torek Vakt
Torek is sheepish as Autumn points out how close Ulfgar is, "For being a scout I do seem a bit blind here." That doubles as he realizes that he may be mistaken about Augustina, "As said I give my dedication to Estig the Hunter, Erastil, Ol'Deadeye, patron of home and hearth, farm and field and I'm boring you aren't I. Sorry, please tell us of yourself and what you follow if you will, we are open to all of good heart."
"Drazen, here, honors Erastil as well, and will be remaining here as steward of our affairs here, we need that to watch over the repentant bandits, and help with relations with the garrison, and others, and keep eyes and ears out here." Torek finishes a bit out of breath.
Torek draws a deep breath and then tells Larkin, "Welcome to our group then, keep your charter it's the sign of your authority to uphold some measure of law in this land. We can compare it later but I suspect it's the same as all of ours. And men claiming to be under the control of this so called 'Stag Lord', are gathering what they call 'taxes' and building forts, so I say that yes, he is increasing his power. It's most distressing, he seems to have recruited many men and has more influence over these hard, angry, hot-headed, people than I'd expect. Very difficult situation, oh and yes the bandits were oppressing Oleg and Svetlana before some of us stopped them and the garrison arrived."
Torek follows up with, "How many men do you think were involved in driving your people out? Any information there is useful we have no idea how many he has except way too many." Torek ends on that dour note, now picking at the delicious food.
Augustina Grigorova
Augustina keeps eating while she listens, nodding in agreement to most of Augustina says. Now that she's removed her feather and fur cloack, her body reveals as an average built with some working out added on top, quite fitter than the average settler. She probably needs more food than the average as well to keep that shape!
"Oh, Erastil, I see. Good to know. I'm a priestess to Cernunnos myself. I used to bless hunts and harvests back in Country Hope, you know, but honestly, it was mostly ritualistic rubbish." She takes a long sip of beer. "I'm more an apprentice than a full priest. Maybe your Father... Hargar...? can see some benefit in having an assistant, I'm sure he's quite occupied with all you folks." She puts some of her carrots in Sergei's bowl because she knows he loves them, and the boy smiles wildly, both of his cheeks full.
Herger Orickson
"Better a farmer than a soldier."
Herger grumbled lowly to Oleg. It was so hard trying to give his son space to make his own choices. Made dealing with the bandit problem seem easy in comparison. But there were looking to set up some farming around the trading post. That was a sound idea in his mind.
That personal business attended to, he made his way to the table with all the food only half grunting to the conversation. It took him a moment to realize all of the things Autumn had been doing, so much responsibility. Something to mull over he supposed.
"Cernunnos? I'm sorry miss Augustina. I recognize the name, but honestly None of the tenets. I'm sure folk in this area will be glad to have you, blessings are always welcome in rough lands like this."
He helped himself to a large serving of the food. After all he was a large man. He closed his eyes for a moment and whispered a small prayer over the meal before he began to eat with gusto.
Autumn Moon
Autumn made a mental note of Augustina's build. She'd need to remember to buy more food, and while hunting look for larger prey. Possibly boars or two. But that part was for later, buying the food she couldn't get while in the wild from Oleg now had changed a bit. Increased amounts of the food, spices, salt popped into Autumn's head as she did mental math. Autumn knew she didn't eat much, but Herger could devour bowls upon bowls of food, Titian and Torek bother were built men and needed a large amount, and then there was Frostbite who could eat a whole deer if she let her. Augustina seemed much more like them and the young huntress couldn't help but wonder if this was what feeding teenage boys was like. Her mother once told her she was glad to have daughter early on, as growing boys would have eaten them out if house and home!
However Augustina's attempt at Herger's name made her giggle a bit. "Herger" Autumn gently corrected. "Cernunnos?" Autumn asked curiously. "Some how the name sounds familiar yet I can't place it..." She admitted.
GM Waterhammer
Oleg gives Herger a worried look. ”He’s been getting some training with spear and shield too. From Master Kesten and the troops. And practicing with the bow every Sunday. I hope you don’t mind. We thought you wanted him to receive that sort of training.” Oleg shrugs. ”Farmers need to be able to defend themselves as much as any, in these troubled times.”
Let’s not get too hung up on typos, okay?
Autumn Moon
Autumn's eyes lit up a bit when Oleg said that Ulfger was practicing with his bow even while she was away. Smiling proudly she asked "He, he is? I was hoping he'd continue."
She looked over to Ulfger, eyes filled with pride. "I want to see how you've improved! You already had such a natural talent, it gives me great pride as your teacher to know you've stuck with it even while I was gone!"
But, are they typos or an actual character thing who is learning?
Augustina Grigorova
Not a typo.
"Herger, yes." There are too many new names here for Augustina to learn, it will take time. She takes another piece of deer. "Cernunnos is one of the Empyreal Lords, and one in fact quite close to Erastil. He... is an 'Erastil of the wilderness', one could say." Augustina doesn't want to bother everyone with sad old stories of her past, specially with Sergei present, but she feels adding some kind of explanation is due. "At our settlement, it was seen with good eyes, since we were mostly on our own. We had an Erastil cleric as well, though, poor old Father Modrin." She smiles as she recalls the face of the old priest.
finishing her last piece of food, Augustina wipes her hands and mouth. "Well, it happens to be that one of Cernunnos monikers is, by chance, the Stag Lord."
Titian Stagson
|
Actually there is. The royal line of the rogavia went poof, but the Surtova took over
Titian also helps him with a hug bowl, slicing two huge pieces of bread from the loaf and sits down to eat with more etiquette than usual. They were in the highest civilization here at least.
Finishing his spoon he takes a few seconds to gather his thoughts he replies.
"That is for sure a coincidence. The stag is a royal animal, a symbol of verility and martial prowess."
Taking his cup he rises and speaks.
"With our new companions, I think it is high time to spend less time on exploration and focus on liberation.
Let us stalk the stag lord,
hunt him down,
and bring him to justice!"
Larin Linwrick
Larin mostly stays out of the discussion on comparative religion. Erastil had never been highly regarded among his extended family - too staid and strict for a clan of opportunistic nomadic halflings - and although he nominally followed some of the tenets of Gozreh it's very evident that his religious feelings were nowhere near as strong as those of the others.
He nods his thanks at Torek and Autumn for their explanations and stuffs his charter back into his satchel before reaching for his somewhat oversized mug of beer and taking a deep swig. He plonks the mug down before asking "So it sounds like the Stag Lord has really started pushing his height around then? Did I hear someone say you think you know where he lives?"
Autumn Moon
Techinally Noleki Surtova is a King Regent, however with no idea where the true royal family is, there really isn't anyone to stand in his way of just dropping the Regent part from it...
"I'm sorry for what you've lost, but I'm sure you'll fit in just fine here Augustina." Autumn reassured her with a smile, however there was sorrow under it. "As Titian has said, we'll bring this bandit to justice, and remove from him the name he has stolen."
"We do have an idea, however we failed at scouting it out." Autumn answered with a slight bit of embarrassment in her cheeks. "But one of our repentant bandits did tell us were it is an the.... pass word, to get in. However we've no idea how many people he has, which is a problem." She pointed out. "Could try again though."
Herger Orickson
He paused in his eating wiping his beard on his sleeve.
"I think we should check out that tower first. Odds are, its filled with his followers but it would remove that many more forces he could call on. It would give us a good look of the countryside as well, give us some idea of whats what."
He began. He still wasnt 100% sure they were ready to take on a bandit fortress. Then again he wasnt sure they would ever be ready for that. Too many unknowns.
Larin Linwrick
"How many bandits have you dealt with so far?" Larin asks, increasingly concerned about the level of banditry in these parts. He scrapes the last of the stew from his bowl before continuing. "Do you think he still has lots of people left?"
Torek Vakt
Torek having starting finally taking notice of the great meal before him stops moping and eats with gusto. Then the conversation turns back to the ever present topic of the Stag Lord.
Torek answers Larin question, "As Autumn said we really do not know how large are his forces except too many. How many so far let see. When Autumn and Herger and others protect Oleg and Svetlana there were I thought, four mentioned by them, a loutish bunch that was the 1st of Gozran -" Torek stops a little stunned, turns to Autumn and Herger and says, "You came here only a little over a month ago, and I later, hard to believe." Torek turns back to Larkin, "Anyway, the group then fought at the ford a bunch of bandits, killed most of them, took Curley captive and offered mercy if repentant. I think about four more in all, at least four. Then five bandits as I recalled chased by Erastil' Grace right into this group, my old and new friends. They died for their sins. And what was five more at the ford again, most dead, one taken, so around eighteen or so. That's a lot for a bandit chief, but he seems to have many more. too many. I might be off by a few, we know little. Autumn you mentioned that Happs told you where the bandit chief's main fort was?"
I reread some of the start of this campaign and noticed that Happs disclosed the approximate location of the Stag Lord's base. Might be useful to do something with that. Also one of the original characters was a worshiper of Cernunnos, so the name would be familiar unless she was retconned out of existence.
Augustina Grigorova
Augustina's face betray her discomfort. This will be a harder task than she thought at first. "Well" she sighs, "I guess we'll have to do the job step by step, then. When you're all finished eating, can you show us around a bit? Oh, and I'd love to hear more about that flag."
Autumn Moon
Yeah, but we never got to talk to her about her faith much.
"Curley also gave us the general area. Yes Torek, that is why I'm just so done with bandits... Well that and another reason..." Autumn spoke up to add in. "If you want Augustina you could shadow me and Frostbite." She offered. "I need to buy some things from Oleg, and take them out to the rest of our things. I could even hand over the tent then. Oh, you have horses yes? We all have one so I wish to make sure you'll be able to keep up. We also have a pack horse I've named Archy." Autumn informed not just Augustina but Larin as well.
Augustina Grigorova
"Rover os a fine horse, yeah. Clever and loyal." Augustina smiles warmly when talking about their horse. "Sure, I'll follow you. I wouldn't mind talking to Oleg about Sergei, also. Maybe that way he doesn't need to share your tent with me." Sergei nods repeatedly at Augustina's words.
Larin Linwrick
Larin gulps. "That's a lot of bandits," he says, "and presumably there are still more where they came from."
"No, no horse," Larin replies to Autumn's question. "Just two feet and a willingness to walk. Though if everyone else is riding, I probably should too. Might Oleg have a steed of the appropriate size?" he asks with a grin.
Autumn Moon
"Well it will be your tent once I hand it over." Autumn said with a small chuckle. "However if Sergei is remaining here he shouldn't have too much of a trouble."
"Well being a halfling I'm sure if worse came to worse you could ride with one of us." Autumn said, though she paused for a moment before adding "And that isn't a jab at your race good sir." She clarified. "And yes... we have fought... many... many, bandits... I'm so ready to rip them out root and stem!" However then she snapped her fingers. "Larin why don't you ask Titian for help choosing a mount? You'll find none better for such around here." She said as she motioned to the knight.
"But! I've things I must do for our trip out tomorrow morning. Buy our supplies, tend to the dear we've got, and ensure everything is ready. Always something to do when it comes to this group." Autumn laughed a bit before she headed off to buy things from Oleg. Unless someone stops her.
Augustina Grigorova
Augustina listens while Autumn speaks, and smiles at her. This woman seems always busy, something that's usually common in settlement leaders.
When Autumn suddenly rushes away, Augustina is caught a bit off-guard. All she has time to say is a short "Wait, tomorrow? Where?" at Autumn's back, not sure at all if she's paid any attention as she seems focused on anything else now. The blond woman looks at the halfling and the departing brunette, alternatively, not sure what to do next.
Larin Linwrick
"No offence taken," Larin responds with a smile, making it clear he wasn't worried by Autumn's observation about his size.
About to engage Titian in conversation about ponies Larin is stopped by Autumn's statement about a trip somewhere tomorrow. Ausgustina's exclamation sums up his own feelings. "Are we going somewhere?" he asks. "Are we looking for bandits?"
Herger Orickson
He started to say something about taking a moment to relax when Autumn was gone again. She really seemed driven. That wasnt a bad thing, but well it might lead to trouble. It was something to think about. He paused and sat back for a moment studying the two newcomers.
"Well, Larin. We have a list of things to do thats pretty long, and there is never enough time. We have the bandit problem to deal with, a hidden temple to find, A mysterious tower probably filled with bandits to investigate. There are some special berries an old helpful fellow named Bokken asked us to get. Fang berries i believe he called them. Im sure i forgot something, as I said long list."
Torek Vakt
Torek lets Autumn hurry off to her next task, wondering if she is taking on too much, but then thinks, She is the heart of the us now, she holds us together more than any other, but I can do to help her is get these others up to speed.
Torek follows on Brother Herger's briefing, "So much indeed, that most of what's important on our plate now, but we also have to keep our hand in managing our agreement with the Kobold King. I believe that Tartuk plans to keep matters trouble free but he is most willing to cause trouble if he feels his power is threatened in any way." Torek continues, "Also we're to hunt a tazlewyrm, whatever that is and put down any other deep wild threats in the area like the browl and -" Torek breaks off as he often does, "Brother Herger is right, we can't even remember all we are to do, much less do it."
He says, [b]"That's why Autumn is so driven, she does expect us all to ride out tomorrow, to hunt this false bandit king, and do all else we need to do, no time to waste." Turning back to Herger, he asks, "I don't think the charter allows us to grant the power to uphold Brevic law to others on our own authority. Can we communicate with the man the gave us our charter to see if he will grant another? Did he say anything to you?"
"In any event both of you new and most welcome arrivals should be formally introduced to the commander of the local garrison, Kesten Garess; we need good relations there and everywhere and it's best if everyone knows everyone else as much as possible." Torek goes to see about formal introductions to the garrison leader and as he does, he tells Larkin, "I'm not sure Master Larkin, I'm not sure if he has any ponies, but some of the horse are little smaller than others, Oleg may have something, he's pretty resourceful, we'll visit after."
Since lunch is breaking up, Kesten may be easy to find, as I understand no formal introductions have been made to him and Torek seeks to keep him informed.

Oh and Autumn is actually black of hair. The link above the picture is actually what she looks like! It is a commission I had done! ^_^

Larin Linwrick
"That is a lot to do, no wonder Autumn is so busy," Larin says as she leaves looking harried. "Bandits, towers and temples, and did I hear you say a kobold king?" he asks with astonishment. "I have to say this isn't completely what I was expecting when I signed up." He looks worried for a brief moment but smiles throughout, as though excited to get started.
Putting his mug down after draining the last of his beer Larin stands as Torek mentions meeting the garrison leader. "Yes, that sounds like a good idea. I'd like to introduce myself to as many people as you think I should, it looks like it's a real group effort here so I want to be able to cooperate as best I can with everyone. Lead on, sir," he adds with a smile as he picks up his pack from where it lay by his feet.
GM Waterhammer
Kesten Garess can be found in his tent. His half finished lunch set aside, he looks up from a pile of paper work.

Titian Stagson
|
Keeping back Titian was lost in thoughts. The stolen lands were vast, and the hideout of the staglords location unknown. On the other hand, where could it be. Either on a hill or close to a river. You wanted a supply of fresh water. But at the moment there were too many options.
Maybe he should later talk to the others. A pity that no sage was close.
GM Waterhammer
Autumn Moon
Autumn stepped into Oleg's shop and gave the man a smile. "Sorry I took so long." She said as she moved in. "Have another mouth to feed now. So about three pounds of salt, two pounds of cheese and bread, half a pound of pepper, rosemary, and cloves, then onto the cloth I need. We're going with linen as it is easier to clean. So I need one square yard of green, half a square yard of blue, then a fourth of a square yard of yellow, white, and either a very pale blue or silver. As well as the threads for each of that." Autumn told him getting right down to business. "Oh and here are all the things I have to sell."
So the coin total on the stuff she needs to buy is 28 gold, 4 silver, and 8 copper!
Torek Vakt
Torek is with Larkin and if she came along, Augustina, to Kesten, "Sorry to bother you. May I formally present Larkin Linwrick, a new charter bearer, and Augustina Grigorova, who wishes to join use on our mission to make this land better? Larkin, Augustina this is Kesten Garess, the garrison commander. I know you're a busy man but it's best that everyone meet and know each other. Autumn is already preparing us to depart tomorrow and get grips with that far too ambitious bandit chief." Torek draws breath and adds, "This way we can ask and answer any questions now, before, well, we take on the biggest problem out there." Torek says the last as though it's more a hope than a fact about the Stag Lord being the biggest threat.
Augustina Grigorova
Augustina tends the man her hand for shaking. "Augustina, pleased to meet you." She looks at him and tries to grasp his name, adding it to the dozen or so of new names that she's heard over the last hour. She doesn't say anymore, taking for granted that, as garrison commander, he will probably has something to say on tomorrow's raid.
