Then he nearly got ran over.
“HEY A~!$~+$. WATCH WHERE YOUR F~!*ING DRIVING.”
He was not going to take that sitting down.

Kestus pulls on the reigns, "WHOA WHOA!"
At that moment the wagon begins to slow down and Tobar hears a voice exclaim, “HEY A*~@~$@. WATCH WHERE YOUR F%#@ING DRIVING.”
The wagon and team stop a few buildings down from the intended target Tobar. Tobar, whoever yelled that is on the other side of the covered wagon and you cannot see him.
Several townsfolk in the street, mostly transients it seems all stop to watch what may be a show down in the city streets.

"My name's Gerwyn and, well, I'd like to do business with an inn." He chuckles a bit. "I didn't realize how late it was going to be when I got here..."
The two men at the gates are not smiling, "Have you beet to this city before?" One asks. "What Inn and who are you to meet with?" The other asks.

He walks with you to the place passing through the streets where the crowds are starting to thin out. As most workers here are loggers they do not get out much from such back breaking work whether cutting or loading the product on the water by the Wooly Bay.
Soon enough you are standing at a back entrance. As Uncle tests it it's locked. [b]"Damn, you got a way to open this nephew of mine or should I pull out my picks?"

DM Lycan |

As you unlock the door and step in, she pulls herself down and whispers in your ear, "Do that to me again and I'll make sure the only good time you have is one you can dream about".

Igdus |

Igdus nudges Sircot before they get much closer, whispering.
"Allow me."
He gives him a wink before they stroll up to the guards, he raises his voice slightly as they approach. Making it clear he was addressing his companion.
"Hey, looks like we made it. Told you it wouldn't be to late, we're not the only ones being let in."
Once the gap is only a few feet he stops behind the other traveler. Moving to one side to catch a guard's attention.
"Evening fellas, tell me this won't take long. I need a good meal and proper place to sleep after my day. This one cost me my lunch by being a fool, then he has the nerve to tell me we need to go to town cause his pops needs us to."
He gives Sircot a side long look before leaning a little closer to the guard.
"That's why he's paying. Traveling on an empty stomach is just wrong huh."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

Vaki |

"No Uncle, I don't, sorry. That's a little outside my area of expertise" He was rather curious about a Lycan gather. He had never attended one before, so it would be interesting to see what they entailed.
Unsure if a Lycan gathering is a rare occurrence or not.

Raze Redclaw |

Raze rolls his eyes and stalks away to drop into a seat across the room from her. "Ah right, I remember now. Still the same b#%!* as before. All snarls and aggression. Gotta prove somethin'." he slowly claps his hands. "Bravo, you're the big wolf. Lets get this over with."
What the hell is going on? Something big must be happening if he'd send his own daughter to collect me.

The lock clicks and he carefully tests the door peeking inside...
No, you have never heard of one before not even in tales!

DM Lycan |

Over with? We have yet to start, let's set up these tables and chairs. I expect at least a dozen to two dozen to attend us here tonight".

Igdus |

He raises an eyebrow. Honestly if something came out of the woods and wanted to cause trouble. Well they would be dead and it would be gone before anyone could so much as yell.
"Names Igdus, as to where we are going. Ask the fool, he's Sircot."
He tosses a thumb over his shoulder. Still he couldn't help himself.
"You know friend you shouldn't say that. A lot of your food comes from farm folk that don't live in your city, makes it sound like you rather leave them to the wilds then open the door for people that put food on your table."
He turns to look at Sircot.
"Tell your pops to raise his price next time he comes this way. Their getting spoiled."
He gives a chuckle. Really like the city folk were so innocent. Everything in the wild was trying to eat you or stop you from eating them. Behind their silly walls was the only place where you get killed for nonsense like coin or because they prodded your pride. It was just plain wasteful if not senseless to him.

Raze Redclaw |

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Raze helps set up the tables and chairs, not noticing anything out of place. Perhaps it was because he was distracted with the other person in the room.
"See that's what I'm talking about. I have my ways but you don't see that. I don't lie with them; the only fun I get out of them comes from three things."
He holds out three fingers in order, counting off. "One, good booze. Two, good fights. Three, goddamn plumbing."
He picks up four chairs and moves around the table, setting them in place. "Two dozen? Someone's going to be bumping elbows." he continues placing chairs.

Well, he didn’t have anything better to do.
With a sigh, Valar began to make his way over to the dive, intending to step in and see if Raze was there.

You
The guard scowls at Igdus but states, "Head in, if I see you all in lock up tomorrow I'll make sure you regret it..."
You both pass into the city gates...

Vaki |

Vaki waits, a bit excitedly, for his uncle to give the all clear. A meeting like this had never occurred, not even in the tales he heard growing up. Something big was likely happening, and that probably meant tons of easy marks.
Totally going with the 'letting my elder go first' vibe here.

Igdus |

Once they are in he speaks to his companion.
"See that Sircot, he knows I'm right."
While he appears to simply be talking he keeps aware of everything around him. He didn't like cities, they were cramped. He looks over at the newcomer Gerwyn.
"So what brings you to the Dive, you know you may want to avoid it tonight. With the guard being difficult and all."
That and a pack of lycans would be meeting. Not all of which were as civil as his kind.

Gerwyn |

Valaronex. Moonlight Meditant |

Turning to the bouncer, Valar spoke, lifting his voice so he could be heard over the din. “Hey! I’m looking for my cousin Raze, also a bouncer. Any idea where he is, or is this the wrong place?”

Igdus |

He saw he dodged his question about his purpose going to the dive.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
That draws his interest but he lets it go.
"Gate guards are push overs, more show then anything. I'd love to see them put in a full days work of anyone that lives outside the walls without all their convince and comforts. Bet they would drop from exhaustion before dinner. No sir, takes more then a gate gargoyle to impress me. The real guards are the patrolmen, now they get my respect. Then again they give it too."
He makes conversation to read more about the man. At the very least if he gets killed he could have something nice to say over what's left of him.

Gerwyn |

Not really sure if I should roll anything here for your Sense Motive... Gerwyn's not a very good liar, so he's just avoiding saying anything he doesn't want to.
He wondered, idly, if the other man was also a lycanthrope. But there wasn't exactly a good way to ask out in the street. As he'd said, they'd find out soon enough if they were headed for the same destination.[/ooc]

The man grins at you as the irate citizen steps into teh Swan Dive, "I guess I owe you two drinsk eh. He looked a bit unhinged. I mean yes I came close but I did not hit him with the wagon! Shall we go in? Though he did go in there..."

"Is this where the meeting will take place?" A middle aged slightly balding man asks.
The woman near the door begins sniffing, "Bats. Figures, you would be the first to arrive and through some entrance we did not even know was there".
The man bows deeply, "I am Uncle Vornicex. My nephew Vaki is with me, who might you both be?"

DM Lycan |

557 CY - 1st Day of Coldeven - The Free City of Narwell
Soon enough you arrive at the Swan Dive. Standing out front are a few humans next to a wagon that seems like it should not be stopped right where it is. They seem to be discussing whether they should head in or not.
At that moment you both see a woman approach your group, well dressed and pretty though not stunning. She practically purrs, "Not from around here are you gentlemen?"

Igdus |

Igdus golden eyes take in the woman with ease and perhaps a hint of cruelty. If Sircot had any sense he would be at the very least alert with this one. Still he thought it best to keep up pretenses. He gives a nod of acknowledgement to the woman but his eyes never leave her.
"I get around but am no local. I would venture a guess so are you. Fancy clothes for a plain part of town. Miss?"
Taking 20 on perception and sense motive on miss fancy pants. ;)

Raze Redclaw |

Raze taps his chest with a thumb. "I'm Raze." he says cooly. "She... can introduce herself just fine."
He will look the newcomers over, making sure they're not going to cause any further trouble. "But since you're here, help us finish setting up chairs. Got a lot of warm bodies we have to fit in here."

Gerwyn |

As he speaks he keeps half an eye and ear on the men in front of the bar, wondering who he was to meet with and who was just a bystander. Would I have a clue who Lockjaw's daughter is? I'm guessing sniffing around looking for another wolf would be unwise in town... :D

Lockjaw's daughter snickers and aids you in setting up the chairs. "Take a seat then "Uncle".

Tobar Zindelo |

"Ah, he's with me, he won't be any trouble. Keep him safe on his way out, will ya?" Tobar says to the bouncer, then turns to Kestus.
"Well, this seems like my kinda place, I don't wanna walk to another bar. How about you buy me a round or two next time you see me? You know i travel the roads city to city around here. This place seems like... not the right kind for one as refined as you. Keep my in mind when you need silks."

Vaki |

Sorry, missed that Raze was in this scene as well
The young man with 'Uncle' pushes his hood back to reveal short, spiky black hair and red eyes. "Vaki, and I suppose I could help" He says, beginning to do just that. After all, he wanted to make a good first impression. Whatever this meeting was about, it was unprecedentedly important.
Description of Raze and the young lady?

Raze Redclaw |

Raze, in human form, appears to be a naturally tall fellow, about 6'6" and nearly 220 lbs of pure muscle. He has sturdy features and it's hard to notice his face protrudes just a bit more than most peoples. This is offset by the fact his nose was broken really badly a long time ago and is not properly set. There's usually a strip of adhesived cloth across his nose keeping it straight since it gets broken often enough that he just keeps it that way. He has icy blue eyes. His hair is black and has some gray peppering it. He keeps it shaggy but short, and when shirtless (which happens often enough) he has thick chest hair. His hands and forearms are covered in many slicing scars, likely from broken bottles and drunks with knives. His fingernails are all permanently blood red.

Gerwyn |

"Thank you," he says to the woman, following her. He takes a second look at those around him, wondering who hides a secret like his, wishing he could call on the greater senses of one of his other forms.

He steps out as quick as he can after.
What do you do?

Igdus |

"Sure why not."
Igdus goes along, nudging Sircot. When their eyes meet for a moment, his dart towards the woman and back. He didn't want to risk anything more but hoped his companion got the message. Seems the meeting was getting underway already, only he was not going to be the first to admit what he was. He already had a few pegged and by the way some of them moved he could venture a guess as to what they were. The woman for example, he got the sense of a feline. Cats often were recklessly pointed in their manners, not to mention the ego. They could subdue it as needed, yet it would shine through intended or not. Best to keep watching, his people were good at that. He was even better then most.

The man has a hat on his head and beady black eyes, his long black coat covers him to the floor. You wonder why he is wearing it considering the place is warm but you assume there is a reason why he does so.
Valaronex turns to him...

DM Lycan |

557 CY - 1st Day of Coldeven - The Free City of Narwell
As you step in you are assaulted by the smell, sight, and sounds of the Swan Dive. This place is low rent, not quite criminal low rent but the clientele is not exactly Nobility.
Working stiffs come here for cheap beer and cheap food and they get both. Shouting from the left side would seem to indicate that if tempers don't flare down soon, they will also get a brawl.
The woman turns to the bouncer who is distracted by the yelling and does not pay much attention as the four of you enter, "Where's Raze?"
The huge human looks down at her and scowls which promptly turns to a grin, "Sorry honey I did not see you there. Raze is popular tonight it seems. He's in the room in the back, why don't you wait by the bar for me I'll be back..." He heads over to the skirmish pushing patrons out of his way as he does so.
As you all turn to the back there are three men congregating by that door. Sircott exclaims, "Looks like this meeting is drawing a big crowd".
