With a yelp, Porablum steps clear of the doorway with the troll and then casts a spell on Hjorleaf, saying,
"There's a clear path to the troll. Go get him!"
5-foot step one square down, then cast Guidance on Hjorleaf to give him a +1 on one d20 roll. The troll shouldn't be able to AoO, since I'm around the corner of the doorway from it.
| Hjorleaf Asvidrson |
Taking in the battlefield with a quick glance, Hjorleaf makes his approach to the troll out wide until he can get a bead on her. Hefting his ax he steps into the arc of her weapon.

He remains alert in case the guard doesn't fall.

Although, to be fair, it meant they were terrible at tricking their foes. Still, she was in a bind. She couldn't get through to Grim, who sounded hurt based on the grunt she'd heard, until the troll was down. So, she decided to try and help Hjorleaf avoid being hit.

Hjorleaf relaxes a bit more after seeing the half elf put the troll to the torch. Wiping sweat from his for head, he leans against his ax. His features changing back to his normal self.
Grim...where are you?

That was enough to get me to 0, wasn't it? Oops.
A moan comes from the back corner of the room. "Hurts too much for me to be dead. Not tied up, so we must've won . . .."
He starts to stand up, but stops, obviously trying to catch his balance. "Did we lose anybody?" Apparantly trying to focus on something other than his own state.

Did we actually buy that wand of cure light wounds, or did we skip that?
| Grimgisli |
Scanning back through the Discussion Tab, I see that it was on the list I posted, so I think we bought it. Back from another weekend camping with the Scouts. For those who may know/care, this was an OA Vigil call-out. 7 of the 13 new Vigil members are friends of mine, so, I really needed to be there.
One of the others was given a name that translates as "man who fixes automobiles." He has a track record of fixing vehicles on camp so that people can drive back to town to an actual mechanic.
"That's better. Thank you, Porablum. Okay. Good. So, any prisoners? Any idea where the portal might be, or do we need to get started looking? I doubt that was the entire garrison, so we need to keep moving before they get here." He points at the closed doors leading out of this room.
