Rheolwr |

Rheolwr waits patiently in its' transit tank. Not quite asleep yet not truly awake either. But dreaming all the same. The cocktail of enzymes and chemicals begins to release into the tank which would start the slow awakening process. Soon Rheolwr would be awake. Soon.

Van, who goes forth alone |

Similarly, Van allows the extruded ectoplasm to dissolve into the suspension fluid of the generative tank is it too returns to a state of expectant pre-sentience.

Researcher of Beings |
Researcher of Beings returns to consciousness briefly (it's hard to remember to go through the process of finding this thread, as it's not on my Campaigns page), reflecting that if you're going to do something you should do it right. The process shouldn't be rushed. (That is to say, take your time if you need, GM!)

Witness-of-Unity's-Truth |
Any location is fine with me, honestly. I'd say NOT technologically advanced areas though, just to preserve that unique facet of us, allowing as to easier disguise our otherworldly practices as 'technic league magic', once we find out about such things anyway. As far as a few cool ideas for a possible starting location, I have a few. Qadira or Katapesh could give us access to slave 'volunteers' for our experiments and as hosts, not to mention that if we switched hosts often, we could wear Jannisary style metal masks and robes of some sort, which the locals would likely ignore as a mere eccentricity. The city of Kaer Maga in Varisia would also be very cool, as we could blend in with the ambient strangeness well and give us a wide variety of hosts. Troll Auger hosts for the win! The Shackles could be interesting, if very quirky: PIRATES FROM SPAAAAAACE, in our favorite Sci-Fi voice! Nidal could provide the Brood with... unusual sensation combinations, to say the least, though the state religion could be a problem, depending on how they would view Telekts if they found out about them. Who knows, they may welcome our characters as enlightened philosophers, given that their state religion is all about mixing pleasure and pain, dominance and submission, which Telekts embody in one form or another. Ustalav is always an option for those of us who want a gothic castle so we can cackle madly from the very top in our personal chamber of fun. We could also strike back against the Eldritch abominations that are so very similar to those that destroyed nearly the entire Telekt race. Landing in the first layer of the Darklands could be cool too, since we don't rely on light sources! I also say that my broodsiblings' ideas are great choices!

Van, who goes forth alone |

Given that Van's idiosyncratic response to reality, idiosyncratic from a Telekt standpoint at least, will be to create his own host before ever really attempting the whole 'corpse-riding' shtick, I suspect my personal preference would be for a local with a large number of genuinely evil beings to serve as hosts. With that being the case, I certainly see the value in; among those already mentioned, Nidal, Kaer Maga(more for it's proximity to Belkzen) & the Darklands.
Irresen would also be interesting, although our innate defenses might make such a locale problematic.

Rheolwr |

Shackles/Mwangi/Slithering Coast region would probably be my first choice as its one of the few places on Golarion I know well. The jungle setting would allow us to hide our ship's wreckage and provide access to lots of interesting fauna/flora. The pirates of the shackles would give us opportunities for evil hosts or slaves as mentioned above (space pirates is also a very cool idea).
Darklands is my second choice as I've always loved the underdark.
However my knowledge of Golarion is limited so I'll happily defer to others on this issue.
Baron, would our choice of land site be a purely player choice thing? Or would our characters be expected to make the choice (maybe after some research?)

Witness-of-Unity's-Truth |
Rheolwr, to my understanding, we will have to select an area on Golarion and make checks to see how close we land it it. Since our characters have no IC knowledge of Golarion presumably, we will have to note the geography of wherever we choose. I'm familiar with the Golarion's geography, so I can help put into IC words where we want to land.

Witness-of-Unity's-Truth |
Researcher of Beings, you mean ally with the residents of the Moonscar to spread our influence and gain untold pleasures, then find the corpses of dead gods, inhabit their skulls and the Brood fuse into an omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent god-brain who controls the Golarion universe with a tentacle into every NPC's brain? I call dibs on the Peacock King's corpse! THASSILON SHALL RISE AGAIN AND IT SHALL BE MINE!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Not in character, by the way!

Van, who goes forth alone |

Gameplay is, at last, up! I shall try to have a much more regular posting schedule from now on.
Don't worry, the ship is a bit more detailed than I wrote it up as in the post. You'll just have to do a bit of exploration.
Let the games begin!
W00T!!
I hereby put forward W00T as the Telekt unconscious expression of pleasure. Any opposed?

Witness-of-Unity's-Truth |
Researcher, I'm not being combative, I'm just RPing Witness' strange thought patterns. And weren't we created with thoughts and concepts, but yet no real understanding of these things? My character is simply grasping at straws, trying to make connections with the philosophy it was taught, but still not fully understanding it. Because of Witness' high INT/WIS, it is closer than most would be upon birth, but it's philosophy is flawed, which you will see later. :)

Telekt-Zod |

bah don't worry about it. after all we are Telekt. We might disagree with one an other but we have implanted the specific 2 Rules of Telekt:
A Telekt may not injure a Telekt being
A Telekt must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First Law.

Van, who goes forth alone |

Baron, you described the P.U.D. as being one foot across...
Is that one foot by standard measurement, or as wide as a Telekt foot?
If the first, that would make it extremely large, about equivalent to a disk four feet or so across for you or I. If the second, that will be quite useful for the other Telekt, & Van once it divests itself of it's 'husk'.
By the way...
Have we established proper grammatical form for plural Telekt?
