The Fist of the Bleeding Storm push open the rusty grate, stepping onto the inner courtyard. The same red stone of the outer walls surrounds them, choked with vines and towering high. A flight of stairs rises up to the second floor of a large tower. Six ogres growl, lifting massive, tree-trunk clubs and rushing towards the Tribe.

DESCRIPTION

A rain of dirt, gravel, and small pebbles fills the area, dealing 2d6 points of bludgeoning damage to every creature in the area. This damage only occurs once, when the spell is cast.

For the remaining duration of the spell, this debris covers the ground, making the entire area difficult terrain. At the end of the duration, the rocks disappear, leaving no aftereffects (other than the damage dealt).

Ozak moves forward, and sheathes Varg's Thorn. He draws Skullbiter and shouts at the ogres. "Come on then!"

Before we push open the Rusty Gate, Choot casts Remove Fear on Badaxe and Thoku - +4 vs. Fear for 10 minutes.

Choot will open his offense against the Ogres by channeling negative energy at the lead Ogre.

Ozak draws his weapon, readying himself for battle with the ogres as Arkhan makes a great Rull-noise, calling out to the Thunderer. Stone rains from the sky, pounding the brutes and shattering bones. So many stones litter the ground that one of the Ogres steps on it and slips enough to throw off Choot's aim. As Kern explodes into a giant himself.

The ogres roar and hurl their javelins at the Fist. War rain falls upon the Tribe of the Bleeding Storm. They run Jugag through, tearing through the archer's body in great spurts of life. He gags and falls to the earth, choking on his own waters.

Dread One-Eye orders his beasts to strike. Like Rull's own spear, the cat leaps over the boulders to flank one of the giant-kin with her master. She claws at the brute, but she cannot pierce his metal skin. But, she distracts the beast, and Kern's axe connects well. Red water and offal spill from its belly. Thick ropes steam in the air amidst a pool of blood. He frantically grabbed at himself as he spilled out from himself.

As Kern struck, Mighty Thoku, standing tall as any of the giantkin, clamps his mighty tusks about a giant's throat. The brute gasps as it chokes on its own blood. Flame flickers around the wound as Thoku's tusks crush its windpipe. With a mighty heave of his shoulders, the chief throws the ogre to the ground.

END roudn 1 Start Round 2. Ozhak and Arkhan UP. Then, Ogres, then everyone else.

Ozak steps forward and twirls his axe over his head. "This is Skullbiter! And it will be your DOOM!" He shouts. His double-headed bone-beak roars through the air, the sun flashing on the metal. The ogres gulp, and loose their waters upon the soil. The sweet stench of ogre urine fills the air as the ogre's grips shake on their clubs. Daggertooth's words sing in the the Fist's ears and their blood boils! They will fest giantflesh tonight!

Arkhan stretches his arms to the sky and makes a great Rull-noise to the Thunderer! The sound pleases the Chiefs in Fire and Blood, and as the shaman points at one of the ogres, the Bringer of Rain sends his great war-rain down from the skies. A war spear strikes the brute with a pounding boom, and it collapses to the ground, a smoking hulk. Arkhan's mouth waters from the scent of its roasted meat.

The fallen ogre tries to rise, but Thoku rips his throat out before the brute stirs. The blood tastes sweet on and rich on the mighty Chief's tongue another free evolution point.

The others still attack, too dumb to realize they had lost this battle. The ogres roar, froth spilling from their rubbery lips. They lift their great trees and swing at the Fist. Their muscles bulge, their swings are mighty. But, they cannot strike.

Like the dread warrior she is, great Grell latches her teeth about the ogre's massive thigh. Her teeth sink deep into the brute's flesh, spilling his blood upon the sands. She pulls, with a great heave of her mighty thews, and she takes the brute's leg with her. The ogre howls in pain as blood rains down from the wound. It collapses to the ground, screaming in pain, dying as its life slicks the earth to mud.

As one, Grell and her master turn to other prey. The war cat's fangs and claws tear into another's belly, spilling its innards and waters to the ground. Her master spins his axe in a great arch, nearly cleaving the brute in twain. Somehow, the giant stands, holding itself together with its geaet strength.

Then, Sezlerian's smokes pour from Choot's mouth. The thick smoke forms a snarling orc skull that hurtles through the air, trailing purple and green fire. It collides with the brute that Kern struck and savages the giant's neck with its fire-wrought tusks. The skull bursts in a puff of smoke as the giant's head falls to the ground, followed by its corpse a moment later.

Dread Thoku, Chief of the Bleeding Storm roars a mighty Rull-Noise, filled with the power of Nulgreth. He pounces on the wounded ogre to his left, and rips the brute's heart from its chest with his mighty tusks. He swallows the ogre's life in one great bite, and feels its strength power his sacred form even more!!

With grim determination, Daggertooth steps froward into Arkhan's Rull-sent stones, swinging his mighty double-headed wartooth. His steel is sharp, first cleaving deep into the brute's chest. He yanks the bonebeak out with a great spurt of blood, bathing in the ogre's life. Then, he reverses his hold and swings again, in a second arc, taking the brute's legs out from under him at the knees, sending stumps flying.

How far up are the Ogres? I am trying to decide whether to use a Channel Ray or a Ray of Enfeeblement.


The ogres are about 50' up. They've got some cover from the small stone wall on top of the roof (20$ miss chance)

Dread Thoku's mighty claws dig deep furrows into the stones of the keep as he climbs the wall with powerful heave of his arms. Yet, despite his great strength, even he finds the going slower with the weight of two fierce warriors in their great warskins! He got about a quarter of the way up the wall. He can go faster, with climb checks.

Arkhan, Storm Brother, calls down Rull-rain with a mad-laugh to the sky. A great crash shatters the Blue Cavern as a cloud darkens the sky. The spears strike the ogres with the rage of the Thunderer himself! Blisters sprout from the ogres' flesh as smoke billows from their mouths.

Still, they have some mettle about them, and they rally, sending their war-rain down upon the Fist.

With Thoku being weighed down, Kern pulls out his bow, holding onto Thoku with his legs, and fires a shot at one of the archers.
Ride to fire a bow while riding Thoku, DC5: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4
Unfortunately, when he attempts to draw his bow, he loses his balance and has to drop the bow and grab Thoku's great horns to keep from falling. His bow clatters to the stone below.

LOL... was worth a shot.
