Choot Othul |

As the Warchief describes the Hag's powers, Choot prays to his Lord for spells that will possibly grant protection against such powers.
---
As they enter the fortress, blooded to pass the Giants' detection Choot nods to his Chief's statement but shakes his head at the Badaxe, "No, we should stay together on the way in. The Hag must be defeated with our combined strength".

The western door creaks open on rusty hinges, revealing a large well. To the north, a gate leads out to the main courtyard. A rectangular hole in the ceiling leads to the guard tower above.
The eastern door opens silent to reveal a dusty room. A spiral staircase leads up to the sound of thuds and thumps from the floor above.

Arkhan Silvinesti |

Chief Thoku of the Bleeding Storm.
Your servant has need of a drop of your blood to grant him the strength of a bull.
The druid motions with his dagger.
Casting Bull's Str with Trasmuter trait for 12 minutes. Thanks chief!

Thoku the Bloodied One |

ok so we move together then
"very well to the east door we can check on see what is occurring then decide if we should attack now or hold for night fall" Thoku opens the eastern door entering the dusty room. He creeps up the spiral staircase trying to remain unseen.

Choot Othul |

Choot will wait until last to step within, a Protection spell upon his lips.

Dragonofashandflame |

A thick voice calls out in giant, only to be answered by another equally slow voice. Three voices laugh and the footsteps retreat up the stairs. The sound of three bows firing fill the air as war-rain falls upon the moat below.
Two new ways lay before Thoku's Fist: A gated door to the outside, or up the steps to the guards above.
OI! Blugthurt! Wot you got dere!? You practicin' on 'em green squirts a'gen?
Ya! 'S fun pokin' a their feet. They dance purdy!

Kern Dead-eye |

Kern shrugs, not able to understand the giant-speak.

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

"He said something about poking the feet of 'green squirts,'" whispers Ozak. "Does he mean goblins? Hmmm... Well, I guess maybe to a giant, we would be 'squirts,'" he observes.

Choot Othul |

Choot appears apprehensive at the suggestion of the Druid, "Perhaps if we can control one of the Giant's minds' it could be worth a gamble but the element of surprise over this Hag could be lost if we are not quiet enough..."

Dragonofashandflame |

So, i'm back.
The stomping upstairs continues and a missghapen brute clambers down the stairs. He stands nearly head and shoulders taller than even mighty Thoku, and he carries a massive tree in one of his hands.
"Oi! Wot yous doin' down 'ere?!" His dim eyes glare daggers at the Fist.
He's threatening, but no hostile--yet. Do you seize initiative and attack, or try to bluff your way out?

Arkhan Silvinesti |

What's this bluff thing that you speak of? Arkhan will follow his chief's lead, although he wants to bring Rull's storm upon these brutes!
The storm druid's blue eyes seem to crackle with lightning...

Kern Dead-eye |

Kern will also wait to see if the chief wishes to attack or cower in fear and hide. :-P

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

Ozak eyes the giant for a moment.
Study target.
"Just who the hell do you think you're talking to? Don't you know who we are?"
Thanks to the campaign trait I don't get a size penalty when intimidating giants.
Intimidate +2 study: 1d20 + 17 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 17 + 2 = 28

Thoku the Bloodied One |

well damn after getting insulted by Kern i should attack but now that Badaxe is taking...what to do...

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

Heh... he is forced to act helpful for a little while. Might as well use that.
Ozak turns to Thoku, and addresses him in orcish. "He is ours for a little while. Anything you want to know?"

Kern Dead-eye |

Luckily Kern didn't say such a thing out loud, so you are free to act as if I hadn't secretly insulted the chief. :-P

Choot Othul |

"Where is Grenseldek quartered? We've need to see her".

Dragonofashandflame |

The ogre gulps as the Voice of Zagresh speaks. Even one so thick as the runt-Giants dreads the Doom of All Things. He speaks and looses his water on the floor, unmanning himself further in the eyes of the Fist. "Duh..da Boss is in the tower. Gorg never go dere. Gorg never see. But, all say Boss in big towers."

Kern Dead-eye |

"To the tower, then." Kern says.

Kern Dead-eye |

"If we can challenge only the leader for dominance, we will gain more warriors."

Thoku the Bloodied One |

Thoku nods at the suggestions of his fist
the chief motions fr the fist to move out

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

While the other orcs discuss their plans, Ozak watches the Ogre carefully.
Study target.
Once the group has come to a decision, he turns back to the ogre. "All right. You lead us there then."
He waits for the ogre to turn his back, and then he swings Varg's thorn!
Hopefully this will count as the ogre being flat-footed, so I caan get sneak attack.
I don't recall any stats for Varg's thorn but I assume it is at least +1. GM: if it gets a bigger bonus then please add that to the rolls.
+1 Greatsword +2 study: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 12 + 2 = 30
Damage +2 study +2d6 sneak: 2d6 + 8 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (6, 6) + 8 + 2 + (5, 6) = 33

Choot Othul |

Choot grins at Ozak, if the Giant does not fall, the Voice of Zagresh fires Magic Missiles at it.
Magic Missile 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 2) + 2 = 5

Choot Othul |

Choot kneels at the corpses side sticking his hand into the neck of the creature, he proceeds to blood the forehead of each member of the Tribe.
"The blood of our enemies make them recoil in fear. Heh heh heh".
[spoiler=Dragon] As a readied action as we close in on the location of the Hag, basically at the door to her chambers, Choot will cast, as much as it disgusts him to do so, Protection from Evil on Ozak and on Thoku that they are granted some level of protection from her powers. Just an FYI![/ooc]

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

...Choot will cast, as much as it disgusts him to do so, Protection from Evil...
Actually, as an evil cleric you can't cast spells with the good descriptor (though you could cast it as a sorcerer if you know it that way). You could still read scrolls or use a wand of it though.
Chaotic, Evil, Good, and Lawful Spells: A cleric can't cast spells of an alignment opposed to her own or her deity's (if she has one). Spells associated with particular alignments are indicated by the chaotic, evil, good, and lawful descriptors in their spell descriptions.
Oh, and while we're on the subject you should use this instead of cure light wounds:

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

When Ozak senses that enemies are close, he pulls out a War Spirit Pouch, drops it on the ground, and crushes it with his heel.
Temporary HP, lasts for 10 minutes: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
I've had these things since second level and always forget to use them.

Damn, forgot about that. I'll have to see if I can find an equivalent spell that will aid the two fighters. I'll make that Remove Fear granting both Fighters a +4 save vs. Fear, not quite what I was looking for effect wise but hopefully it will be of assistance.

Thoku the Bloodied One |

i will cast evo surge but since i cant open the web sight from work ill have to decide on what power to gain. Also going to gift three front liners evos so who wants them?

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

Choot... Can you animate the dead ogre?
Thoku... I was tempted to say the grab ability with my bite attack, but no, I don't have much of a way of exploiting that. But how about extra limbs? I could wield Varg's Thorn and my axe at the same time.
