It is with some amount of shame and much regret that I have come to the conclusion that I am not, at present time, capable of running a daily play-by post game. A variety of personal factors weigh in on this, the details of which I'm not much comfortable with sharing with strangers on the internet.
I want to thank each of you for your commitment to this game, and apologize that I am unable to keep up my end of the social contract. I wish you all best of luck in the future, understanding any ill feelings this may leave you with. I will be locking out the game sometime in the next few days.
I feel pretty badly for having restarted the campaign only to abandon it again. I feel, however, it is better to give it up cleanly than "just disappear" without even this much of an explanation. You're all great players and I wish I were capable of giving you the game you deserve.
I've been through this myself. It's hard to admit, but better than stringing people along.
That's really all I ask for when a game shuts down, that the GM clearly says "Yeah the game is shutting down". =)

Your honesty is much appreciated, Reckless--GMs who are clear about their commitments, including being able to openly say when they can't keep them, are the kind of GMs we need, and the kind I am likely to play with again down the road. We all hit rough patches, and while I'm sorry to see the game end (again) I hope this leaves you time to attend to your priorities and that things go well for you.
