For the purposes of this game, what is the time action for the Hierophant's Inspired Spell? Nothing is listed, but the Archmage equivalent is a Swift. Meanwhile, some unofficial errata changed them to Standard, but the changes have yet to be formally applied to the PRD and SRD.

Latharien "Lefty" Setiva |

Lefty will stay back and cast Disintegrate (DC 31), since our warriors aren't doing so well this round.
attack: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (11) + 21 = 32
dmg: 47d6 + 14 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 1, 4, 5, 2, 1, 6, 2, 4, 1, 2, 5, 6, 3, 2, 3, 3, 1, 4, 6, 5, 3, 3, 4, 4, 2, 6, 4, 1, 3, 1, 6, 1, 6, 2, 1, 6, 6, 4, 4, 6, 6, 3, 3, 2) + 14 = 173
CL check: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (19) + 26 = 45
That's a LOTTA 1's! #&@^@%$! No matter, since it'll probably make the DC, anyway.
Then, he'll move 30.

Vrog Skyreaver |

It's all a matter of perspective, really. Some combats will go faster than others; This thing is....special. It's one of the named black dragons that Tar-Baphon used to kill their mothers. and I don't like to roll dice for players as a general rule (cause I feel bad when I roll poorly), but you're right in that I should probably make an exception here.
As both blade and spell have slammed into it, the massive undead dragon roars in defiance, then lays into Both Hiram and Baergar with it's natural weapons. Hiram will get the bite and the first wing, and Baergar will get the claws and the second wing.
Bite/Claw/Claw/Wing/Wing attack rolls with power attack: 1d20 + 34 ⇒ (20) + 34 = 541d20 + 29 ⇒ (19) + 29 = 481d20 + 29 ⇒ (20) + 29 = 491d20 + 29 ⇒ (6) + 29 = 351d20 + 29 ⇒ (10) + 29 = 39
confirmation rolls: 1d20 + 34 ⇒ (10) + 34 = 441d20 + 29 ⇒ (4) + 29 = 331d20 + 29 ⇒ (6) + 29 = 35
looks like the bite confirms
Bite/Claw/Claw/Wing damage rolls: 12d6 + 66 ⇒ (4, 2, 6, 2, 3, 4, 1, 4, 4, 2, 5, 5) + 66 = 1086d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 1, 3, 6, 1) = 144d6 + 23 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 6) + 23 = 394d6 + 23 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 1) + 23 = 313d6 + 23 ⇒ (2, 2, 3) + 23 = 30

Didn't Lefty do some damage to this guy? Anyway, Star takes the extra AC from BoF. It is currently 64.
A disgruntled Lorelei watches as Lefty's powerful Disintegrate barely phases the beast. With a light sigh, Star quickly moves herself closer to the frontlines, phasing in and out of the dark cavern's shadows as she flies. She abruptly stops about a good thirty feet away from her foe, and in utter silence, her arms work their way out of her cloak of darkness, and the Oracle begins to grab at the air as if trying to grasp invisible threads.
Reality hiccups.
Time itself twists, slows, quickens, and turns as Lorelei weaves it into a compact sphere of swirling grey. It seems to take an eternity for her to complete her task, but in actuality, everything is said and done in a mere three seconds. Lorelei's mythic magic dances about in her tiny hands, and she looks at it with a content grin.
Star giggles. Star chuckles. Star laughs. Star crackles with absolute glee.
She then lobs her spell straight at the undead dragon, which crashes onto the beast with little trouble. Even a fool knows that the magic of the Great Old Ones is easily on par with that of the Whispering Tyrant. Time itself quickly starts to catch up with the beast as its bones begin to crack and crumble under the force of an entity far greater than it.
SR Check: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (20) + 24 = 44
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34
Ranged Touch Attack Critical Confirm: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
...Wow. I know it's immune the crits, but still...
Lorelei burns five points of Mythic Power and uses Inspired Spell to crank out a Persistent Augmented Mythic Sands of Time. Being undead, the Dragon must make two DC 33 fort saves or take 600 points of damage (30 per caster level as per the spell). If it does make the save, it still takes 300. Star currently has 11 points of Mythic Power left. Her Faith's Reach ability lets her increase the touch range to 30 feet or less.

Hiram Morrow |

Yeah, a lot of my build is dependent on enemies with exploitable anatomy, if this turns into a pattern, I may have to do something to address it.
Feint: 1d20 + 37 ⇒ (2) + 37 = 39
Vital Strike, Power Attack, Furious Focus, Combat Expertise, Inspire Courage, Blessings of Fervor, Holy Weapon Quality: 1d20 + 36 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 36 + 4 + 2 = 44
Vital Strike, Power Attack, Furious Focus, Combat Expertise, Inspire Courage, Blessings of Fervor, Holy Weapon Quality (Force of Will): 1d20 + 36 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 36 + 4 + 2 = 43
10d6 + 198 ⇒ (5, 5, 2, 1, 4, 1, 2, 2, 6, 1) + 198 = 227
Vital Strike, Power Attack, Furious Focus, Combat Expertise, Inspire Courage, Blessings of Fervor, Holy Weapon Quality (Amazing Initiative): 1d20 + 36 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 36 + 4 + 2 = 57
10d6 + 198 ⇒ (3, 5, 1, 6, 3, 3, 5, 4, 4, 2) + 198 = 234
Bad news, the dice roller hates me.

Vrog Skyreaver |

ya, I didn't add Lefty's damage, cause I'm a goober. Will get that updated on the next pass. As far as beastaries go, As long as a critter is on the srd so I can see it at work, it's fine. And to allay concerns, not everything is going to be immune to crits. As a matter of fact, most things will not be.
Star, I need a caster level check, not an SR check please.
???: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
updated combat info: undead dragon -112 damage; all party members: blessing of fervor for the next 18 rounds; Hiram: -122 damage, Baergar: -100 damage. Dragon is no longer taking total defense.

Lorelei Starling |

Isn't SR a caster level check? If so, that handsome 20 can still be used. The breakdown for Star's caster level check was 18 base, +2 Inspired Spell, +4 Otherworldly Kimono for 24 total.
Edit: It is.
To affect a creature that has spell resistance, a spellcaster must make a caster level check (1d20 + caster level) at least equal to the creature's spell resistance. The defender's spell resistance is like an Armor Class against magical attacks. If the caster fails the check, the spell doesn't affect the creature. The possessor does not have to do anything special to use spell resistance. The creature need not even be aware of the threat for its spell resistance to operate.

Hiram Morrow |

Immune to crits ain't the issue for me, it's being immune to ability damage, drain, bleed, fatigue, sickened, most everything with a fort save attached. I can still fight the undead but I won't be quite as effective.

Vrog Skyreaver |

the creature doesn't have SR (corrected myself earlier, but looking at my post I didn't make that clear enough), but he has a mechanic similar, but not the same; But fair enough. At any rate, the combat is over, as the damage already taken, plus the 834 from both star and hiram, are enough to drop me. I saw that Baergar, you just posted after my last update =)
He is going to have some "loot": see my boxed text below:
As Star's spell and Hiram's blade land, the Ravener gives one last roar, staggers and falls, then crumbles into dust; it's entire body, that is, except for one of his smaller leg bones, which falls to the ground with a dull *thump*. Taking a closer look, you notice that it is covered in dozens of tiny runes, invisible at a distance of even two feet. This bone, which is about the size of a quarterstaff for a medium-sized creature, has a good amount of heft to it. Well balanced, it would make a decent weapon for any monk.
let me know how you want to investigate the bone; assuming several of you will cast detect magic, you will get different results: one of you will detect just faint magic, another overwhelming.

Latharien "Lefty" Setiva |

arcana: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (18) + 38 = 56
history: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (1) + 31 = 32
religion: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (14) + 31 = 45
linguisitics: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (11) + 38 = 49
Lefty combs his memory for any mention of such relics in lore.
You know, once we get this all sorted out, we should all head to my place for some vodka martinis.

Lorelei Starling |

Knowledge (Arcana) - Taking 10: 10 + 29 = 39
Spellcraft - Taking 10: 10 + 29 = 39
After a devastating one-two combo from herself and Hiram utterly obliterates the dracolich, Lorelei focuses her arcane sight on its remains.
As she studies it, the Oracle comments, "Anyone need healing? Those hits looked painful."
Star has permanent arcane sight as per the spell.

Lorelei Starling |

Lorelei nods at her ally's quest and flies her tiny self over to Hiram's position. Once there, she quickly belts the much larger fighter with wave after wave of positive energy. Despite Gallowspire's hampering effects on her magic, she ultimately manages to fix up the wounds.
Cure Critical Wounds x2: 8d8 + 36 ⇒ (7, 1, 4, 1, 7, 8, 2, 7) + 36 = 73/2 = 36
Cure Serious Wounds x2: 6d8 + 30 ⇒ (5, 3, 2, 5, 6, 6) + 30 = 57/2 = 26
Heal: 75 = 75
Total = 139
I also forgot the Star used a point of mythic power to give everyone Death Ward for 24 hours. So she currently has ten points total.

Lorelei Starling |

"...The bone is an artifact," Star says to the rest of the group after some more careful study. "Its magic auras fluctuates like one."
With that said, Lorelei begins to carefully inspect and search the rest of the room.
Sight Perception: 1d20 + 39 ⇒ (14) + 39 = 53
Hearing Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31
I will look around the room for now. Tar-Baphon's class ring might be down here for all we know.

Vrog Skyreaver |

you notice that the area down here is much larger than the "foyer" area above. you'd say it's almost as big as....actually, exactly as big as the area of the 2nd ward you encountered (so to clarify roughly a mile and a half in radius, as opposed to the 500' radius of the foyer room). You also discover that the wards are even down here, as you sense the threshold of the 3rd ward you crossed (the icky one) when you cross back out of it. Looking around for a while, you spot a cleverly designed staircase that leads down which appears to be rubble, which you happen to notice because the rubble looking trap door is currently open.
No class rings, far as you can see =)

Hiram Morrow |

"I would not mess with it right now," Hiram notes worried about possible complication from that thing. "Unless we know what it is."
Could I use knowledge (history) to help figure out what it is if it is an artifact?

Lorelei Starling |

Using her still on-going Telepathy spell, Star tells her allies everything she finds.
"Going to scout ahead," the small Oracle adds as she activates her Ring of Invisibility. Before she ventures down the stairway, she throws a couple of spells on herself.
Star turns invisible and thus becomes completely undetectable. She casts Mythic Fly on herself (increasing her AC and Reflex save by 10 and her flight speed to 120 ft. perfect) and extends it to 24 hours via Enduring Blessings. She has eight points of mythic power left. She recasts Source Severance on herself and keys it to block arcane magic, which will last for three hours. Based on my math, she has at least another hour and thirty minutes left of her telepathy spell.
After that, she will have a look down that stairwell.

Vrog Skyreaver |

Hiram, Knowledge (arcana) would yield better results than history, although the easiest way to find out would be something like legend lore
As you descend down the stairs, you notice two things: one, the temperature drops considerably, and two, you pass through another ward, this time much stronger than the previous one.
You have now passed through enough wards that you may give me a knowledge (planes), knowledge (religion), or knowledge (arcana) roll (pick your highest one and roll it. Roll me a will save as well please please.

Lorelei Starling |

Can I get a description of those wards? I only remember the third (or the second), the one that halves positive energy.
Knowledge (Arcana): 1d20 + 29 ⇒ (18) + 29 = 47
Will Save: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (10) + 24 = 34
Will Save Fortune Revelation Reroll if Necessary: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (15) + 24 = 39
If it's a non-mythic mind-affecting effect, Star is immune to it.

Vrog Skyreaver |

1d4 ⇒ 2 you only take two permanent negative levels (as you make the save).
[ooc]As far as the wards go, you know the following, especially given what information the others have shared with you:
It seems that the protective wards around Gallowspire are tiered, instead of having a single ward. They are the creation of deity level magic, but the last two wards that you have gone through have been corrupted by something powerful (most likely Tar-Baphon). It seems that he has been slowly changing them to suit his needs.

Vrog Skyreaver |

Just noticed that I missed a couple of people who made knowledge checks on the "staff".
Lefty knows that the staff itself is not an artifact, but the runes on it are part of one, particularly an epic on the nature of magic called The Ballad of Creation. This ballad, which normally is only spoken, reportedly has massive powers related to using, changing, and creating magic. The runes here appear to be focused on protecting against magic.
Mechanically, the runes work like this: as an attack of opportunity, the wielder of the staff can make an opposed caster level check using half their caster level to turn magic back on the caster. There is no limit to the amount of times this can be done, other than available attacks of opportunity per round. The bone staff itself can be used as either a masterwork club, quarterstaff, or greatclub, depending on the whim of the user. This ability was made using mythic power. Enjoy!

Lorelei Starling |

The party hears Lorelei's voice echo in their heads.
"There's another ward down here. Drained my life force. Pressing forward. Seems Tar-Baphon is altering the wards. What for? His own purposes I guess."
"I can heal you later, sweetie," Rose reminds her owner. "Granted, if this is going to keep happening, you should probably turn around."
Star only grumbles to herself.
Perception Sight: 1d20 + 39 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 39 - 2 = 57
Perception Hearing: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31
Rose is making the hearing check. As an artifact, she is immune to the ward's negative effects.
