Vaclav's shot goes wide.
Gornak lashes out at the dogs worrying his legs.
Attack on dog in F5: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 Damage: 3d6 + 13 ⇒ (3, 4, 4) + 13 = 24
... splattering it completely.
Thanadros shoots the goblin in F07 from his mount.
Goblin dog #2 Attacks Gornak, Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
One Goblin Dog on Gornak:
Goblin Dog #2 Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 Finally it finds a chink in his armour!
Two Goblin Dogs on Albrecht:
#6 Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
#5 Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Albrecht is too nimble for them!
The remaining goblin dog rider takes a moment to assess the situation, and opts to flee, racing between Albrecht and Gornak (both can take AoO's) and through the ectoplasmic sheen.
Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 ... the dog crashes to the ground in G06.
Ride check: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 ... and so does the rider, in two halves (see below).
Gornak Attack of Opportunity: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25 Damage: 3d6 + 13 ⇒ (4, 1, 3) + 13 = 21
Goblin Dog #2 Threat Confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 Fails to confirm!
Gornak slices the rider in two as he goes past. Albrecht can AoO the dog if he wishes ...
Gob shoots Grogmurt.

Round Four:
Let's try this again... Aylmora reloads her crossbow and fires at the goblin that released the dogs.
Move action to reload light crossbow. Standard action to fire light crossbow at Goblin #6 in square D,10.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 - 4 = 4 - includes penalty for cover
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1
Aylmora considers just throwing the crossbow at someone next round...

Actually, that was the goblin that bolted, losing him his cover and and then getting cut in half by Gornak. His dog is prone on the ectoplasmic sheen and is I assume your alternative target.
Albrecht and Aylmosra both miss the dog.
Grogmurt gestures with the wand and a gout of fire flashes at Gob, somewhat hampered by the ectplasm that binds him to the brambles.
Attack (ranged touch): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Vaclav, Gornak and Thanadros again.
Vaclav Rennet
Vaclav scans the battle around him. Albrecht doesn't look good. He spins toward the northern front. Too many foes between us.
He drops the mace and fits an arrow to his bowstring. I hope I don't hit him or Gornak. He draws down on one of the goblin dogs harassing Albrecht, holds his breath, and releases.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7.. damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
I can't reach Albrecht without risking many AoO and/or the sheen. We've got to thin the herd and move together.

Gornak hacks up the dog in F6, leaving two dogs in the ectoplasmic sheen and one attacking Albrecht. Thanadros wounds that one, and it yelps in pain and breaks off. The other two dogs attempt to escape also.
Dog #6: Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Dog #2: Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Dog #4 (wounded): Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Two of the dogs sprawl helpless, only Dog #2 is able to try and make a clean escape. Gornak and Albrecht can take AoO's on any dog of their choice.

Energy ray (3pp, 2d6) at Grogmurt. Fire. His AC should still be lowered from entanglement.
Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12; Damage: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1) + 2 = 4 Fire Damage
"Pity you must rely on a wand to do that, Grogmurt."
That was lackluster. I hope his Touch AC is 12 or less with the lowered Dex, at least.

Round Five:
Aylmora turns her attention from the battle with the goblin dogs and unleashes a blast of uncontrolled phrenic energy at the entangled goblin druid.
Standard action and expending psionic to unleash a surge blast on the goblin druid: ranged touch attack to deal 2d6 points of force damage.
Surge Blast (ranged touch attack): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

The remaining dogs are cut down in short order. With a hail of arrows, bolts and psychic attacks Grogmurt does not last much longer, hurling defiance and bolts of fire to the last. Gornak chops and forces his way through the brambles and drags the corpse of the goblin druid out.
I think that with two good archers, plus the rest of you, Grogmurt was just about finished as he was entangled and unable to move, so I'm calling this somewhat long and scrappy combat over. I have to say, well fought! I threw in some extra goblin riders as there are six of you, and I have to say you convincingly minced them. I dread to think of the carnage Gornak could unleash with Cleave, and Albrecht proved that monks can kick buttock with the best of them. Some excellent RP from Gob in particular, too.

"I could stand to have these burns healed, to be sure, but I can manage for now if others are more grievously injured."
Gob looks for Tudmunch and Snovli, and says, "I trust that this was sufficient to prove to you who you should side with? I do not blame you for your cowardice- it is goblinkind's best survival mechanism- but if you dare to cross me or my companions, Grogmurt's fate will look like a holiday pickle feast compared to what I will do to you."
"That being said, if you really want to be my new tribe, grab a weapon from your fallen enemies and use it only to defend yourselves or attack the rest of these weak goblins. Upon your first kill, I will grant you your new name of power, and I will accept you as my kin."
Attempting to imply solidarity with them, and infer that we are powerfule/strong goblins. I want them on our side through this goblin-hunt as long as they're useful; Gob figures if he is capable of 'evolving' beyond his roots, perhaps others are too. More of a social experiment, and no plans to "keep" them beyond this part of the adventure.

That's a shame, I had dreams of you taking the leadership feat and having your own tribe of 'good' goblins following you around - could have been quite interesting ...
Albrecht Mihai
Limping back to the group, Albrecht grimaces in pain as he gestures at some of his nasty wounds and says weakly, "Yeah, I could definitely use some patching up; more than one of those beasts got me good..."

Falling silent as he hears Gob speaking to the other goblins, Albrecht smiles slightly at the thought of Gob redeeming the two of them.

Snovli and Tudmunch are suitably impressed - Grogmurt had sacrificed many of their tribe to the Howling Hole. Surprisingly they restrain themselves from desecrating his corpse and arm and armour themselves from the goblin-riders gear. They have a brief discussion between themselves before proudly announcing:
"We Snovli and Tudmunch of the Blue Goblin Tribe now!" they declare.
I am going to have to stat these two out, they are just too good to ignore!
Gob Slickarm
Rune Master: I had considered it, and still might, but the whole 8 Charisma thing is something I'll need to work on.
Gob takes Grogmurt's and, and asks, "Anyone mind if I take Grogmurt's wand as a trophy? Might even come in handy at some point. Without it and his pet, all Grogmurt had going for him was some wiggling plants."
Gob looks to Snovli and Tudmunch and says, "You know, you two might turn out to be a worthwhile investment after all. Don't disappoint me, all right?"
As it's going, I may need to go LN with Gob.
Thanadros
Anyone who wants to use the party's potion of cure moderate wounds, feel free. If nobody takes it, and if Albrecht is not healed, Thanadros will hand it to him.
Can anyone take a hand at identifying the potions and items if any are magical?
Vaclav Rennet
Vaclav calls in the injured and asks Erastil's blessing on the group, relief from hurt taken in the name of good and strength and guidance for the future. Healing power washes out from him, a welcoming warmth born in the hearth of community.
Channel twice 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6 .. 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11
Not sure about channel v CLW next. Albrecht could use some more. How does everyone else stand?
Albrecht Mihai
"I hate to be a bother, or seem needy, but if we are going to meet more resistance like that, I could do with some more patching up. Perhaps one of those potions?" Albrecht says as he straightens up as the healing influence of Erastil and Vaclav's faith heals him, and closes his wounds, leaving only the nuisance of bruises and the like.
I believe so; I'm still down six...
Aylmora Mvashti
Aylmora concentrates for a moment to regain her focus before turning her attention to her companions.
"So. Where to next, gentlemen?" she asks as she loads another bolt into her crossbow.
Thanadros
"Hmm, maybe Albrecht and Gornak should take potions, for when Vaclav not able to heal them in battle."
Thanadros says as he holds out the party's cure moderate wounds potion to one of them.
"I have my own for emergency." He persuades.
He then looks to Gob's new 'blue crew.'
"We took care of the druid, the cat, and the rat-dog riders. What other defense do they use for intruders? Show your bravery and loyalty to your new tribe," He points to Gob, "And show us the way to the goblin village!"
Rune_Master
"No no!" Snovli pipes up. "You no understand! Bridge is made to collapse when longshanks cross, but longshanks have crossed, see? So can be made to not collapse real easy, just bang in pegs. Tudmunch, he cross and bang pegs in on other side. Snovli cross with big-mo-fo longshanks to show we sure is safe, yes?"
Albrecht Mihai
Thanking Vaclav once more, Albrecht stretches up to the sky to work out the knots in his muscles. Smiling when Gob translates the "big mo-fo longshanks" comment, Albrecht turns to Thanadros and says, "May I take the potion? I seem to be getting separated quite frequently while in the thick of things..."
Vaclav Rennet
Vaclav wipes his mace clean and slips it back into its belt loop beside his quiver. He counts his arrows and thinks about crossing a defended bridge.
"Before we try the bridge, can we go back to that first ambush site? I could use a few more arrows, if there are any decent ones there."
We didn't loot the dead goblins of their arrows.
Perhaps Dabbler will graciously handwave reloading on the way to the bridge? By the way, what happened to Shalelu?
