Miss Chance, 50%, total concealment due to dim light, 1-50 miss: 1d100 ⇒ 10
The bolt flies past the tree, missing it by a foot or so. The downed log and tree are illuminated for an instant as it sails past, and then the rest of the hollow as well as the light moves. Then it hits the swampy water 100 ft away and sinks underwater, taking the light with it.
However, it appears the scythe tree didn't like being targeted, as it suddenly shudders into motion.

The two giant trees lumber forward, apparently not at all bothered by the swampy terrain. This may have something to do with the fact they are moving on dozens of roots that act like spikey stilts.
The second one rumbles forward and the entire trunk bends and sways, causing the limbs to rocket forward awkwardly. One of the limbs whistles toward Natalie, a section of it snapping open like a scythe as it slices at her.

I rolled a 28 on my perception, I assume that means I have my spell up? Which are the trees on the combat map. Can't really tell. :(
| mdt |
Yes, Wilhelm, yours went off. I didn't bother confirming since you just cast and weren't in combat range. Sorry about the trees, but they are sneaky things that try to blend in, are you saying you don't like the fact they do so well? :) I've make them more obvious for our blind leader. :) Hope that helps.
Yes, Fharn, you go this round (round 1) after the trees. Round 2 is a typo.
Yes, Natalie, you can move. Difficult terrain, so only half-move (which means half move again for acrobatics), or 5 ft as a move action. Please move your icon on the map to show where you're moving.

"Pharasm's will guide and bless us. Make our aim true and sharp." Says Anastacia in a clear speaking voice. The cleric holds Pharasma's symbol high, and as she speaks, a transparent wave of power radiates from the symbol. Those touched by this wave feel more clear-minded and energetic.
Puts X-bow away, casts bless. 50' burst. +1 on allies to hit, and saves vs fear effects. (Slight change in tactics, due to unfavorable battlefield conditions. ;)

As the trees reveal themselves, a change comes over Gorruum's toad-like mount. It wiggles its back, muscles rippling, and suddenly a jet of deep purple slime erupts, flying over Gorruum and Natalie toward the tree to the east.
Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
If the slime strikes, it hardens to the texture of cold tar entangling the tree. Slime can be removed as a full round action with a DC 15 Strength check.
Moments after the slime erupts, Ubagub shudders and shakes, then quickly grows to great size. Its eyes shift to glow a crimson red.
Leaving Ubagub where he is so Gorruum can mount him, but will go ahead and biggify him. If ok, will combine turns for the pair of them after the trees go. EDIT: Actually will move him just past Gorruum. Might incur AoO depending on the reach of these things.

Thanks for the clarification. I could see the trees, but I wasn't sure which were the ones that were trying to kill us. I figured it would be bad if Wilhelm went and tried to chop some firewood instead of actually fighting. ;)
Wilhelm spurs Triumph into action and rides to the nearest tree, blade ready. As he goes, he chants out a prayer, "Iomedae bless her champion's arm!" A fierce white glow appears about his hands and the nearest scythe tree as he closes the last few yards. Pivoting in his saddle, he is slightly off balance as he swnigs and his blade whistles menacingly through the air near the tree.

Wilhelm rides forward, and barely ducks in time to avoid a scythe limb, the wooden blade sliding off his metal armor, a scratch left in the metal by the edge.
Unfortunately, the other tree takes advantage of his distraction and a limb comes snapping sideways and opens up a bloody furrow on his side.
His mount is also hit as a scything limb slices open the horse's side, sending blood spilling out on the ground.

He gives the tree a mighty wallop with his halberd, which just seems to catch and then bite deep. Only hit because of the slime Ubagub hit it with. The tree opens it's mouth silently in a primal scream as the heavy halberd bites deep into it's body, sending out slivers of wood.
The tree seems mildly shaken by the blow.

Yikes, it really hurts not being able to actually heal with the shifting initiative. My mistake as I didn't move my horse where I wanted it on the map (not in between the trees). I'm at -5/52 and Triumph is at 41/51.
Gasping in pain as a tree branch slices into his side, Wilhelm starts to pray for Iomedae's relief when a final blow knocks him unconscious.
