Bannock

"'Capture the Cleric! Kill the Gypsy!'" Bannock mocks. "Your list of wants grows long while your list of allies grows thin!"
Bannock then has a rare kindly smile for Crier. Though out of his league, he has fought like a wolf in the Divinity's name. "Carry the Divinity's will as your torch, with it destroy the shadows," he solemnly intones as healing light reaches out to him.
Cure Wounds!: 1d8 + 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 2 + 1 = 11

The Emperor seems to have turned his gaze from me. My roll to cure damage was less than my attack!

Bannock, Crier is dead or dying at this point as the Constables go before you in Round 3. If you move to heal him you may be subject to an Opportunity Attack versus the foe still attempting to kill you.

Marco's strikes are fluid and graceful, the strikes at the flank of "Inspector Nyath" strike deep but do not slay the shapechanger.
The Jackalwere meanwhile dives out of the way of the flaming hands from Khalid the flames still lick him a bit, he uses the fire to unfurl the remainder of his bonds and grins at you as a jackal grins at prey.

As Marco steps to Wyatt's aid, the foe he leaves behind converges against Constable Crier, the two make short work of Crier who slumps against the wall, bleeding profusely.
With Khalid's back turned, the "Constable" attacking him lands a solid strike in his back. Take 8 damage.
Bannock's new armor is once again up to the task of warding off the blows from his attacker.
His sleep attack having failed, the leader of the Jackalweres claws at Wyatt producing deep gashes in the face and neck of the Bard.

Oops!. I misunderstood the positioning. I meant to fire the cone forward, and catch the captured Jackal man if I could. I thought that the icon all the way to the left was "off map". Oh well, there goes my last 1st level spell! :-D

Heh. Well instead how about I just do Healing Word at him then? Then it will be: Healing Word: 1d4 + 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 + 1 = 9

Hm? No, for Crier. Why, do you need one? I didn't think so because your HP show max. But if you're wounded just update it and I'll see how high you stand in the eyes of the Emperor. ;-)

Ah right forgot about that. Still firing back into the room prevented that ability from working.

You sure about that last part Marco? Khalid is about to drop Orange. If you leave the Jackalwere alone above Wyatt, he will be coup de graced for sure next round... Plus, there are two others in the far corner that just slew Crier.

Marco's initial strike brings the Inspector to the ground. His second strike slices the Jackalwere though the cut partially heals quickly. Let me know if you want to remain here or move near Bannock.
Khalid's fire slays the last of the "Constables" threatening your corner. The Jackalwere instead of attacking runs into the closet from where the magical items were first discovered!

The second "Constable" comes in directly on Marco and while his first cut misses, the second one strikes the Rogue squarely in the thigh. Marco takes 14 total damage!
Bardan meanwhile manages to wrap his claws above Bannock's armor cutting the Clerics neck. His next strike though is blocked by the armor yet again. Bannock take 4 damage.
Bannock's spiritual weapon strikes Bardan directly on his skull causing the Jackal to cry out in pain. Even with the blood dripping from his forehead though, Bardan still appears to have a great deal of fight left in him! Bannock's holy power brings Wyatt back from death's door.

Khalid fresthree Rays at Sir Edmund, he dodges two and the third strikes him. The ring on his hand glows as the fire seems to go out more quickly than Khalid expected.
Sir Edmund chuckles, "You have defeated my minions. I have other family members and more pets. I shall have yet more once my plans come to fruition. Your pitiful band shall not stop me. Come, taste death..."
He drops his longbow and draws a double pointed dagger/short-sword. There is no mistaking that this is the weapon that caused the wounds on the victims slain thus far.
