Thanks for the links in the other thread. I will look into a character later. Anything we need covered?
We've got two fighters, a ranger, a cleric, a sorcerer, and a warlock.
Pretty much all bases are covered, so play whatever looks like fun!
Also, you get free rebuilds as much as you like before level 5, so don't sweat being stuck with a PC.

If every one could create a tag line for their character like Rakish has done that would be much appreciated!
Here's an example of how I've set it out in the Race, Gender and Class fields of the profile on this Alias. (The reason I do it like this is so I can edit it easily from a smart phone...)
Gender Field: Female Fire Genasi | Wizard 3 | Spell Slots: 1st: 4/4, 2nd: 2/2 | Spell DC 13 | HP 20/20 |

In my other game, I've also asked for limited use abilities. Rakish has three limited use abilities:
- A special bite attack which heals
- action surge
- second wind
I'm still formatting my character sheet online, I've gotten spoiled by how much work Hero Labs does in formatting Pathfinder characters for posting.
Still I did go ahead and post a Hero Labs stat block in my Profile while I'm getting everything looking nice. Again I think everything is done.
I didn't pick an alternative resource book because I only used the Player's Handbook in building my character.
I think I still need to pick out or roll for a trinket - although having played once and DM'd at least twice back in the old days the classic module Rahasia (B7) I'm rather partial to the empty wine bottle.
I am working on a few ideas. Either a lore bard or a wizard perhaps going necromancer. Having read a little of forgotten realms the later seems harder to pull off.
Bards are always a good choice. They got a solid upgrade in this edition.

Yep, we're waiting on Cass and I sent him a message yesterday with links to the discussion and gameplay threads.
The game will start on Monday night, Australian Eastern Time (Daylight Savings)
That should give Big OM time to get his character together.
Quite well. Most of the mechanics is done leaving a few skills and some background to be done. I might need to get some input on the noble background.
What would you like help with?
Mainly some story background,the mechanics are donee.
Are you looking for ideas about where your character comes from in the realms? Info on Noble families?

I'm not used to playing a PC who isn't verbose, so pardon if it seems Rakish is snappish. I'm trying to roleplay a lizardfolk personality, and it seems to me that they don't speak much.
Also, according to Volo's Guide, they always speak in actions and present or future tense. So that's what I'm aiming for.

We're in Phlan right now. House Cardona or House Sokol are two of the major families in this area.
In fact, House Cardona is the same family from the 1988 computer game, "Pool of Radiance."
In the game I'm GMing, this bit of trivia was published in the module:
Players who enjoyed Strategic Simulations Inc.’s 1988 Pool of Radiance computer game may recall the traitorous councilor Porphyrys Cadorna, who betrayed the heroes to seize control of the mystical Pool of Radiance.
Possessed by the evil spirit Tyranthraxus, the councilor drained the pool of its power and fled the city. Two hundred years have passed since those terrible events, yet House Cadorna still abides. Braden Yil is an employee of the house, but like most others, he has no knowledge of its dark past.
DM: slight change to my Character. Changing proficiency in lute to proficiency in artisans tools. The kind I want isn't on the list, but it's a set that would be a blend of tinkers tools, leatherworkers tools, and woodcarvers tools. It's specific for the Lizardfolk Cunning Artisan ability.
He'll also purchase such a set. Tinkers tools are the most expensive at 50 GP. So I figure that's a good price.

Raina is in a other game right now. Plus, I've been wanting to play the fighter. :)

I just started one! Kip couldn't get in it, so that's why we have this game here.
And spinningdice is about to end one. That's the game I'm using Raina in. I'm not sure if he'll start up a new one after that.

To be honest my Realms lore is not that great either, I tend to use the forgotten realms wiki when I'm making up things for character backgrounds etc.
Phlan is in the Moonsea region, nearby countries include Cormyr, The Dalelands, and Damara.

It's always interesting seeing who has played with who before on the boards here. I believe I've played in one game or another before with everyone here. Except for Mezegis/Serephyna (that's about to change though... :D )

Update is coming, I'm just working on a labelling a map now. My Thursday and Friday were atrociously busy long shifts. So I've been a bit knackered. I generally have plenty of time to post during the day but this last week has been unusually busy.

I got tied up and never finished the character. I'm am wondering if it is not to late now?
We are still early in, I think you are still okay. DM Kip will have final say though.
It isn't to late Big OM, I was planning on using the old "he was always there in the background" method of shoehorning your character into the adventure so please, if you're still keen, complete your character and jump on in.
Initiative is rolled! Please don't wait for your turn, jump in with your action when you have time.
Also you're always welcome to check the "GM Tracking" spoiler, it will have information on which enemies are damaged and how much damage they've taken which I'm generally fine with you knowing as that's normally something your characters would have an idea of.

Hi guys! How was the weekend?
Not great... We've got a bug going through the whole family :(
I've had very little sleep getting up several times a night to check temperatures etc.
Ouch. I went through that just a few weeks ago with my kids.
