Hey all, I'd like to run The Confirmation for the Official Pathfinder Society PbP Game Day. This is a scenario for levels 1-2, and is especially rewarding for new characters with no other chronicle sheets.
Almost all Pathfinders undergo extensive training for three or more years to learn the tricks of the trade, and their last test before graduating from the ranks of the initiates to the status of a full Pathfinder agent is the Confirmation, a special research project that involves considerable fieldwork and is designed to simulate the initiates' future work as a Pathfinder. Even the noteworthy field commissioned agents sometimes participate in such trials as a way to familiarize themselves with the Pathfinder Society’s rules and expectations. Although Confirmation is typically an individual affair, the society recently discovered a site on the Isle of Kortos that would be perfect for initiates but perhaps too dangerous to handle alone. Successfully uncovering this site’s secrets will not only contribute to the society’s body of knowledge but shape the exciting careers ahead for each of the prospective agents.
I can take up to six characters: first come, first serve. This game will not start until April 5th.
This game is part of the Official Pathfinder Society PbP Game Day. For more information please visit: http://PbPGameday.com

I have several PFS characters that have not actually been played at all yet. I'd love to run one of them through the confirmation; I'd chose whichever one would fit in the party best (although most of them are martial characters). (I have played it before - Hava Marinos was killed in it at level 2, and am currently running Oster through in a different PbP)

Good to see interest! :)
I'm fine with anyone having already played/GMed this scenario joining in; I'm trusting you to keep your player/character knowledge separate.
@ Grymlind Grindstone: That's fine; this scenario has a special boon for brand new characters, but anything level 1 or 2 is fine.
EDIT: Another thing: I believe that this particular scenario can be played for credit multiple times. Essentially, I think it works like this:
-Multiple level 1 characters can get credit for playing this (only once per character, though)
-Only ONE of your level 2 characters can get credit for playing this (like any other scenario)

You get the boon for all PCs you play through it, I believe, it's just that the first PC you play it with gets a much better boon.

** spoiler omitted **
First one I play it with, or first one who survives the experience? My first try was with Hava Marinos, who was going to be my one 2nd level character allowed to play it, but he got dead.

Alright, I'm home and can look at the actual boon text on my Chronicle.
Having successfully completed and documented your Confirmation, one of the Three Masters has formally recognised you as a field agent and given you a wayfinder with your name and the date of your graduation. If this is the first time you have received this boon for any of your characters, you receive this wayfinder for free; otherwise, you may acquire it by spending 1 Prestige Point. Furthermore, if you assign this Chronicle sheet to a character whose starting XP is 0, you reduce the Prestige Point cost of any wayfinder enhancement vanities you purchase to modify this wayfinder by 1 (minimum 1).
So... It specifically says "the first time you have RECEIVED this boon". If you died, your character wouldn't get any of the boons, so you can still get it once for free. That said, I think your 2nd level dead guy nullifies any future plays with a 2nd level character.

Hi mechaPoet. I'd like to get aboard with Vogma, a obese female half-orc raised in the gladitorial pits of Egorian in Cheliax (her faction and birth nation). Although she cultivates the appearance of a savage barbarian, Vogma is a surprisingly sophisticated and clever individual. She hasn't been played yet and will be 1st level. Thanks.

Yagga was a pilgrim, in search of self-perfection, knowledge, and harmony. The Pathfinder Society appealed to his pursuit of knowledge, and he found meaning in the Silver Crusade faction. The chance to test his skills in the Confirmation was one he could not pass up.
New character here, eager to go. Not sure if you are full yet...

So far:
Players:
1. ZanThrax
2. RyckyRych (Joesef Deadwillow: Fighter 1)
3. Ellie Whitespring: Gunslinger 2/Other
4. Grymlind Grindstone (Sorcerer 1/Other)
5. Vogma the Battledancer: Half-Orc something 1
6. Yagga Nightquill: Inquisitor of Irori 1
Alternates:
None yet!
Game is now full, but I will accept alternate applications. If I only have one alternate, I could run the legal max table size of 7, though.

The current list is:
1. ZanThrax
2. RyckyRych (Joesef Deadwillow: Fighter 1)
3. Grymlind Grindstone (Sorcerer 1/Other)
4. Vogma the Battledancer: Half-Orc something 1
5. Yagga Nightquill: Inquisitor of Irori 1
6. Aryn Seavon: Bloodrager (Destined)
Alternates are free to sign up, still, but the party is currently full (well, it could take one more, if it had to).

Posting rate would be at least one post a day, although these things usually go a bit slower on the weekends, so probably 5-7 posts a week would typical.
Roster:
-Zanthrax
-RyckyRych: Culsar Rankil: Witch 1
-Grymlind Grindstone: Sorcerer 1/Other
-Vogma the Battledancer: Fighter 1
-Yagga Nightquill: Inquisitor of Irori 1
-Aryn Seavon: Bloodrager (Destined) 1
Alternates:
-Bobbette: Witch 1
-Ziegander: Calnus Elazul: Fighter 1
-hedgeknight (?)

So, I have four characters left that will be available to choose from. Three with 0 xp (Attilio Sennas, Elven Archer, Ikarial, Elven Lore Warden, and Kaleb Alban, Halfling Standard Bearer) and one with 1 xp (Lindy Flamenozzle Lava Gnome Admixturer). If anyone has a preference, I'm all ears. Otherwise I'll probably roll a d4 just before we start.

I'm going to use my bard (Izotu Hyr). He is a control-type bard for party composition plans.

GM mechaPoet |

All right, Yagga, take care!
The current roster:
-Zanthrax: any number of things
-RyckyRych: Culsar Rankil: Witch 1
-Grymlind Grindstone: Bard 1
-Vogma the Battledancer: Fighter 1
-Yagga Nightquill: Inquisitor of Irori 1
-Aryn Seavon: Bloodrager (Destined) 1
-Bobbette: Witch 1 (Moved from alternates)
Alternates:
-Bobbette: Witch 1
-Ziegander: Calnus Elazul: Fighter 1
-Szath
The party is at capacity with six players, although the Pathfinder Society Field Guide says I can expand to seven under dire circumstances (although the online thing is a bit tricky here). Szath, I would recommend you look for another game. That said, if you cannot find one, I may allow a 7th player. However, I will leave the decision to a vote among the non-alternate players, and they will decide whether they want to play in an extremely large 7-person party or not.
