Lindy's earliest memories are of exploring Tian Xia with her parents. And of all the wonders she saw there as a child, it was the various volcanoes that left a lasting impression. Her family travelled for a time in the company of a cleric of Yamatsumi, and while her personal take on the doctrine of the Tian god is rather unorthodox, her devotion to the deity is what spurred her to seek out a proper arcane education so that she could better emulate the power of the volcano.
Now that she has (just barely) graduated, Lindy has decided that she should join the Pathfinders so that she might explore the world and find "bad guys" that she can practice her fire magic on.
