It's neither Norwegian nor nit-picky. It's English and the meaning's different. [Sips hot tea to calm flnff-filled stomach.]

...I like the Duskblade. I have played a couple and I think they are a good class (if slightly overpowered).
Really? I had not found that to be the case. YMMV different game different player... I do like them though. I think that their spell list needs to be tweaked for whatever game they are in to suit the game.

Personally, I prefer the Arcane Legionary myself, even if the name needs work.

The Players Guide to Bards, Sorcerers & Wizards (Scarred Lands, Sword & Sorcery) had a PrC called the Wizard of White Flame, which did the warrior/wizard concept with the twist of having the armored wizard stick to fighting with a quarterstaff (through which he eventually learned to channel touch spells in melee combat, etc.).
I was fond of it for sticking with the traditional Wizard's staff.

Ah...outside my world. Although, David Kaye's voice sounds different as that guy, I think. For me for him, dawg, Keith David's voice has the right combo of toughness and coolness.
He does a lot of voicework. He also sounds completely different in the three Battlestar Galactica episodes he was in.

They're good at blade and magic unlike people!
