A silly thought while brushing my teeth...
Net Adept makes the net a one-handed melee weapon with ten foot reach.
Whirlwind Attack allows you to make one melee attack against each opponent within reach.
Surely it is intended, but net RAW neglects to say that once you catch one target in a net you cannot keep using the net to catch more targets.
Ta da! That stereotypical Whirlwind Attack Fighter enjoying Enlarge Person and the Lunge feet can sweep up a room full of goblins in one big net.

Those things are to hold the netted person by the lead rope.
If they make the strength check they don't "leave the net", they just pull the lead rope free. They are still Entangled.
In order to get un-entangled a character must make an Escape Artist check, Burst the ropes (burst DC is based on rope type), or Sunder the net.

That is a hilarious image and I am willing to let someone willing to sink the resources to take Whirlwind Attack try it.

The publication of the Advanced Race Guide makes this silliness even better.
The Human Fighter also takes Marial Versatilty, Weapon Focus (Sling), and Sling Flail.
Using Martial Versatility to replace "sling" with "net" (since both are in the Thrown weapons group) we get:
Benefit: You can make melee attacks using your loaded net, using that weapon’s normal statistics but treating it as a flail. Using a net in this way does not expend mundane ammunition, but magical or masterwork ammunition loses its special properties after a single hit.
Special: Any feats you have that apply when you use a flail also apply when you use a loaded net as a melee weapon.
Ta da!
For cinematic value, our hero can now scoop up a room full of Goblin minions in a net in one turn (as described above) and then for the rest of the dungeon crawl swing around that net full of Goblins to thwack the other monsters.
For tactical optimization, our hero can now "steal" all of the enemy magical ammunition within his net's reach by scooping up foes with ranged weapons in his net, then the next round hitting an opponent with the net--which apparently triggers all the magical ammunition the net contains during that single hit.
