Recommend a generic adventure

Silver Crusade

Hope this is the right forum. Can anyone recommend some adventures that were written so they could be dropped into any campaign. I know a lot of adventures can be modified to fit home campaigns, but I am looking for some that have been intentionally designed this way. An example is "black & white" from 0one games. I have my own home brew and am looking for a supply of adventures, that I can use in a pinch (if something comes up and I don't have time to prepare) with as little changing as possible, so the more generic the setting the better. Also, they have to be Pathfinder compatible but from any 3pp is fine.

Thanks.

Most of it's 3rd Edition (not 3.5), but AEG published a LOT of stuff that works pretty well, and isn't horrible.

It can be had pretty cheap in their compiled collections "Adventure I" and "Adventure II"

Conversely, it looks like a lot of them are on sale individually for $0.79/each at RPGnow.

I've got the collections in print, which you can find on Amazon, and I dig them quite a bit - great for a pickup/side trek/random encounter.

Raging Swan's Lonely Coast is designed that way. It's not only a fine product, it's free. Can't go wrong with that.

This is nicely done, but it isn't an adventure. It is just a place to set adventures. I'm looking for actual modules. Thanks anyway.

Well check out Raging Swans other products: here on paizo or on their own homepage. They sure have modules among their products, which are set in their very generic Lonely Coast setting.

Other publishers to look at are Frog God Games who is a spin off company of the now defunct Necromancer Games, and Legendary Games(the new company of Clark Peterson of Necromancer Games, alas no products yet). They both publish old-school adventures which are very pluggable.

Open Design's Tales of the Old Margraeve is also quite generic ans pluggable.

In general keep an eye on the PF compatible products subforum....

Check out Spes Magna Games' 5 Adventures, 25 Rooms (PFRPG) PDF for $ 1.11

Apparently Avalon Games Company has a very affordavly ($1.50) adventures line, alas no reviews yet.

Tricky Owlbear Publishing has 2 locale based adventure products.

Super Genius Games publishes short adventures in their one night stands line

Expeditous Retreat Press has a few PF compatible 1 on 1 modules.

Thanks Thanael. I will check them out. I really want to build up a collection of some droppable adventures. While is dosen't happen often, there are times where my group gets together unexpectedly, and the I need to throw something together fast. Hacing a bunch of thing to choose from (To match where thier PCs are or may be doing) will help. I will certainly check out each to see which fit. Thanks again! If anyone knows more, please keep em coming. The Paizo site is really hard to navigate when it comes to finding adventures. It seem you have to go through each publisher one at a time. (Unless anyone knows a different way to find just pathfinder adventures)

Take a moment to browse the free download category here on paizo.

Check out the free Shrine of the Risen (PFRPG) PDF by KromeDragon Games
From the description: Sidetrek Encounters are single location adventures designed to be placed into any campaign. No reviews yet.

Also here's my Free RPG resources thread at the FoS, which - while focusing on Ravenloft adaptable material - will provide some generic adventures. (not PF exclusive though)

... and one of them an acclaimed investigative adventure.

HHG also has a nice Mor Aldenn: City of Mages [BUNDLE] available on rpgnow (sadly not on paizo). The idea of their Mor Aldenn mini setting is axplained on their site here.

THANK YOU, Thanael. Your links were much appreciated and often useful!
