I’m about to play Flood Season. One thing that upsets me is what should I do with Sarsem Delasharn possessions. There are quite good magic objects among them, and surely Jenya Urikas would recognize them as Sarcem possession should the PC loot it. Would you think it is appropriate that PC keep her magic objects or do Jenya would have to claim them? IMC there is a Tyr/St Cuthbert cleric with very good relations with the church and Jenya, who will sure be interested with Sarcem magic objects. What would you do/have done? Thanks for your insights (Sorry for my bad english).

The SCAP says Jenya would later claim Sarcem's weapon as it's the badge of the highest ranking priest of St Cuthbert in town. IMC, I let the players have the rest as a bonus.

Yep, Jenya requested the weapon, and allowed the PC's to keep the rest as a reward for there help. Use this as future motivation for the party. If they get a little of course or for a side trek Jenya good remind the party of her gratitude with Sarshem's items.
Perhaps Sarshems relative known or long lost could arrive seeking his inheritence?

I changed his mace from Holy to Axiomatic. It seems to make more sense since every St. Cuthburt cleric in Caulron is LN. Plus the CG fighter felt shooting pains up her arm when she picked it up, therefore cluing the party in the reason that Toungeater didn't loot the body or move it was because of the nasty shock of a level loss when touching the mace.

I made up my mind, that our cleric would be able to use the mace to seek the retribution of the Sarcem's death and that he would have to relinquish the weapon to Jenya afterwards. The player participated in the fight against Tongueeater, but had to leave early, and missed the next session due to studies for exams. He did not read through the summaries on my website from the other players and never came around to ask Jenya for the items. So he will never get them.

Ok. Then it seem the cleric will have to wait a little bit more to have a holy weapon. Although I'm planning to get it back to him when he reaches enough level to have a +3 magic weapon.
Besides, I like the idea of converting it to Axiomatic, as IMC we play in FR and Tyr church (which is known to fight against chaos).

That wasnt a big deal in my campaign the party cleric is a cleric of fharlagan (sp) so it wasnt an issue, especially once Alakast shows up on the scene
