@Hennet: Sorry, missed the SoF.
Round 2
Calling on the blessings of Iomede, Sir Christoff takes a mighty swing with his longsword. He swings with such force that he nearly cleaves the demon in two. Hennet stabs his rapier into the heart of another, sending back to the hell it came from. Working with the rhythm of her song, Azura casts a spell, coating part of the room in magical grease. Andrietta uses her wand and is able to soothe Hennet's wounds.
Reflex, DC15: 1d20 ⇒ 6
The third creature slips in the grease, falling prone. He flops around, but is unable to regain his feet this round.
Round 3

The tengu cleric squeezes past Hennet so as not to disrupt his assault and pokes Christoff with the wand!

She keeps an eye on that doorway, though, just in case...

Lowering my defenses for just a moment, I'll walk around into the other room to get behind that last creature before attacking.

Damage: 1d8 + 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (7) + (6) + 6 = 19

Christoff, did you take 4 healing?

Hennet and Sir Christoff surround the remaining demon, finishing it off as it flounders in the magical grease. After the party defeats the legion of demons, they have time to thoroughly search the Emporium.
The charred corpse sitting on the crude throne is surrounded by a faerie court made from scrap and discarded materials. Amidst the furniture is a desk with several log books and journals. Most of them detail the day-to-day transactions of the Emporium, but one is the personal journal of Relios Skytower. It details the goings on of many of his wealthy clients, as well as Relios’s personal life including the details of his ancestry and his son’s (Gandros’) birth. One of the last ledgers mentions that Relios was falling on hard times and intended to sell his wayfinder back to the Pathfinder Society, especially since it had been some time since he had been actively engaged with the Pathfinders. The ledgers also show that Relios was selling a steady stream of yellowcap mushrooms to members of the pre-revolution high society in Augustana.
The next rooms are vaults lined with shelves thick with growing yellowcap mushrooms.
Yellowcap mushrooms are a potent hallucinogen when eaten. Yellowcaps were a popular drug among the nobility decades ago, but fell out of fashion in the wake of the People’s Revolution so are now worthless.
More faerie effigies hide among the mushrooms, and on the very back wall, there is painted a “portal”, a large circle of swirling color patterns. On the floor lies an open and empty scroll case next to a slightly charred, blank piece of parchment.
The parchment appears to be the remains of a used scroll. Based on what you found, it is likely it contained a use of lesser planar ally.
The party is able to make their way safely back to the surface. After hearing the account of your investigation, Venture Capitan Wallace lets loose with a huge guffaw. ”HA! I knew it. I knew this guy’s story didn’t add up. All a big waste of time. Well, I’m glad that’s over and done with.”
Aside from any suggestions you have for what to do with Gandros, the scenario is essentially finished. I will get the game reported, and get the chronicle sheets up some time tomorrow.

Christoff, did you take 4 healing?
It doesn't matter to me. I'd say just save the charge for now.
Azura ~bluedove
|
"Splendid! You are able warriors both!"
Bardic Knowledge(Nature): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
"Oh my!" Azura exclaimed as she realized what the strange yellow mushrooms. "If the poor fellow has been consuming these, we're lucky his delusions were as accurate as they were." She makes sure to destroy as much of the fungal growth as she can, and scorches the area with flame to prevent it growing back.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
On the way back, she speaks with the Almsman again and asks him to look in on Gandros from time to time, make sure he is eating some food instead of hallucinogenic mushrooms.
She was a bit disappointed in the Venture Captain's dismissive attitude, and pouted before replying. "But sir, stopping demons prowling the sewers of one of Andoran's finest cities is hardly a waste of time. And perhaps the lowly are beneath your notice, but ending the reign of a ruthless sewer gang will make many citizens that much safer." She made sure she was the one to tell Gandros they had taken care of the terrible intruders to his home and made the "portal" safe again.

Not only does Andrietta go along with Azura to the Almsman, she also explains the situation so that he might provide better assistance to the troubled young (old) man. She's really worried about the 'Prince' and wants to make sure that his remaining years, if not in complete comfort, are at least as pain-free and lucid as possible.
"You're also not thinking, sir, in terms of what history he can bring to the Society should his mind become unscrambled. He may be crucial to helping the Society and Andoran recover any number of lost facts. As Azura said, if his memory was that close to accurate under the influence, what other things might he know? In addition, we've found out the fate of a member of the Society. Even if he wasn't active when he passed, he was one of ours and we need to make sure that his story is recorded, right?"

Hennet sighs and adds
Also, someone thought he was important enough to summon three demons in an attempt to kill him. Perhaps there is something in his head someone wants to keep secret. I think there is more to this, sir.

Gandros is extremely grateful to the group for removing the threat to his "kingdom". He magnanimously grants you the gift anything you desire from what remains in the Emporium.
The Almsman agrees to take in Gandros and care for him in the future. He and his group will clean out the Emporium and use it to expand their mission of helping the city's poor and downtrodden.
As to the suggestion that there may be more this issue, VC Wallace strongly disagrees. "I think the old coot stumbled onto a summoning scroll and used it without knowing what he was doing. Who knows how he got a hold of the thing, but I'm sure the answer is as simple as that. It's time to put this whole thing behind us!"
Andrietta Ebonfeather
|
Andrietta will not force the issue with the Venture Captain, as he seems set in his ways Stubborn child! but she will put an appendix on the report that all good Pathfinders are supposed to make the next time she checks back in at Absalom to keep an eye on this situation. Like Hennet said... there's something more there and the fact that Wallace isn't seeming to want to look further merits at least some sort of documentation.

Whoops, forgot my roll.
Azura invites her fellow Pathfinders to join her in celebrating a job well done that night in a Tavern run exclusively by halflings. Most of the staff and patrons seem familiar with Azura, though they frequently call her by her stage name, bluedove.
After a few drinks and some warm reminiscing with friends, she ascends the stage with an ethereal grace and sings of the story of the downtrodden beggars who dwelt beneath their feet and how those despicable men who preyed on them were laid low by intrepid Pathfinder heroes!
Hennet takes Azura up on her offer, cheerfully throwing an arm around Andrietta's shoulder as they walk.
Another mission finished, eh Andrietta? Let's celebrate and have some fun!

Yeah, I figured it was a good fit for gameplay if we were going to pseudo role play it a little bit. Lol
