It's been 24 hours, so I'm going to DMPC Finn for Round 1.

The gnome grins as he sees his new acquaintances scramble aboard. I can do this, he thinks to himself as he leaps up, grabbing a rope, and scrambles to the top.

Finn climb: 1d20 ⇒ 11

Since it doesn't seem to have mattered to anyone, I'll retcon out my actions and just go with Finn's. Sorry about that. However, I don't think taking the mutagen after round 1 changes your initiative, unless there's something I'm not aware of.

Round 2:

Sekathral -- 21
Silvio -- 20
Sailors -- 20
Soller Vark -- 15
Finn -- 8
Dargon -- 8
Zstelian -- 7
Kyson -- 6

Sakathral's cutlass slashes into the back of the nearest sailor, sending a spray of bright red blood over the wooden deck. The man staggers, his face suddenly going white, and drops the crossbow. Apparently desperate to save himself, he leaps over the side of the ship, plummeting into the bay below.

Silvio leaps up to the quarterdeck, lashing out with his sword at the man's crossbow. Unbalanced by running up the stairs, however, he misses the weapon, instead hitting the sailor himself solidly in the chest, sending him unconscious onto the deck.

Silvio, I couldn't quite tell if you wanted to attack the sailer or try to sunder his weapon. I went with the former since you used your full attack and not CMB. Let me know if we need to retcon. Also, you did indeed need to charge.

As two more sailors rush out from a door below the quarterdeck, the thug on the main deck drops his crossbow and, pulling a rapier, stabs at the dwarf who just tried to attack. Apparently still unnerved by the sudden assault, his attack flies far off target, as Dargon barely has to lean to one side to avoid being hit.

The crossbowman on the foc's'le deck reloads and snaps off another bolt, at Kyson, the closest target, but it thunks into the deck, sticking harmlessly in the wood.

Finn throws a gourd toward the remaining crossbowman, but apparently misjudges the angle as it slams into the side of the ship with a loud explosion. Undaunted, the gnome quickly begins scrambling onto the deck.

Dargon lashes back at the sailor who tried to stab him, landing a powerful punch in the man's chest; he can feel ribs crack as all the air leaves the sailor's lungs, leaving him staggering and wide eyed.

Zstelian continues to struggle to get a good grip on the rope to climb, again remaining stuck below, as Kyson pulls his shield.

Round 5, Init 6

After his last turn, Kyson should be somewhat central to everyone but Silvio.

Kyson sees the drunk dwarven brawler take another wound, and Sekathral already bleeding, reaches for his holy symbol.

I've never done this before...how does it work again?

Uh, Sarenrae? It's me, Kyson. A bit o' help, please?

Kyson is pleased when he feels a pulse of positive energy fill him until it hurts, and then he releases it.

Finn starts opening up the nearby cages of parrots and monkeys.

Forget if I mentioned it, but you're all obviously free to look at the dice rolls. I just spoiler them to streamline the posts a bit. Also, since Sekathral said he'd rather I DMPC, I'm going to go ahead and do this round since I've got a few minutes.

Round 5:

Sekathral -- 21
Silvio -- 20
Sailors -- 20
Soller Vark -- 15
Finn -- 8
Dargon -- 8
Zstelian -- 7
Kyson, critters -- 6

Sekathral continues to focus on his opponent, scoring a glancing blow. 3 hp damage The sailor, now injured and apparently having seen what happened to his companions, seemingly decides discretion is the better part of valor and dives into the harbor, beginning to swim toward shore. Withdraw action, so no attack of opportunity.

Silvio's feint utterly baffles his opponent, drawing out her guard and leaving her open to the Chelaxian's strike, a vicious thrust to the chest. The woman grabs the blade for a second before her eyes roll back into her head and she slumps to the deck, the dueling sword sliding free. Vark's dark face flushes with rage as he sees the woman goes down and he launches a wild attack that Silvio nimbly sidesteps.

The crossbowman fires again, and again his bolt flies wide of his target -- likely Sekathral, but truthfully it's hard to tell considering his abysmal aim.

Finn:
"Stay back," the woman warns you, brandishing her blade in your direction. She seems startled as you begin opening cages, letting the creatures go. She's about to react when the spider creature, apparently frenzied by the other creatures around it, suddenly slams against its cage and pops the door open. Before the woman can even scream, the creature grabs her and separates her head from her body with a clash of mandibles.

Zstelian, after parrying a blow aimed at him, strikes back, scoring a vicious hit against his foe, whose faces immediately pales from pain as Kayle's talons flash across the hapless crossbowman's face on the forecastle, drawing spurts of blood.

As Sarenrae answers Kyson's diffident prayer Heh., strange, animal noises begin erupting from belowdeck. Everyone's eyes are suddenly drawn to the strange sight of bright parrots flying out of the hatch, and several small monkeys come scrambling out.

Dice rolls:

I'm not sure what enemies are left. If all that's left is Vark, Zstelian will stand down. He's not one to interfere with Silvio's duel.

Zstelian fades back a step before launching himself into the air for a deadly cleaving attack. He motions for Kayle to continue her assault.

Dice:

Handle Animal - 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Sekathral charges up the stairs to find the crossbowman trying to wipe blood out of his eyes, leaving him unprepared for a new threat, and swiftly cuts the man down before he can do anything else.

Silvio's slash hits Vark across the chest, drawing a scream of pain from the man. Apparently heeding the Chelaxian's words, he drops his rapier and dives into the water. withdraw action He's quickly followed by the man who was fighting Zstelian, who leaps over the railing and begins paddling for shore. Their pace only picks up as Kayle flashes out of the sky again, sharp talons rending one of the fleeing sailors, who goes under and doesn't reappear after the attack.

The deck seems to grow quiet for a moment, other than labored breathing and the cries of the parrots and monkeys fleeing from below. Suddenly, though, the momentary calm is shattered as a miniature gnome comes bolting out of the hatch from below, followed two seconds later by a creature out of nightmare: a horrific, pony-sized spider-like beast with dark brown body and yellow stripes, bright red blood dripping from its mandibles.

With all the sailors gone, I took no actions for Zstelian, Dargon (so you didn't lose the throwing axe) or Kyson. Map at the start of Round 7, with Vark and one of the other thugs in the water and the creature in the center of the boat.
