Hello, I have a question about syncretism and splinter faith.
With syncretism, the cleric has a secondary deity, the cleric gains the domain spells from the second deity : initial or advanced, but not the cleric spells from the second deity, is it right ?
Splinter faith is not clear for me. Can you explain me, please ?
With an example ?
Any domain spell you cast from a domain that isn't on either of your deity's lists is always heightened to 1 rank lower than usual for a focus spell.
Splinter faith doesn't give access to other cleric spells, is it right ?

A Cleric only gets the additional Cleric spells granted by their deity. Those feats do not change this.
Splinter Faith allow you to freely choose 4 domains among the base domains of your deity, their alternate domains and at most 1 domain that your deity does not grant but that is not anathematic to them. You consider these 4 as your deity's base domains.
In the last case, the corresponding Domain spell you cast is heightened to 1 rank lower.
For example, if you are a Cleric of Sarenrae, with Splintered Faith, you could choose Repose, Water, Healing and Sun as her 4 base domains. Fire, Sun and Truth you would consider as alternate domains.
You can choose Water because it is not one of Sarenrae's base or alternate domains, but it is not anathematic to her.
You could then cast Downpour by taking the Advanced Domain feat. If you cast it at Rank 5, it would only grant you the Rank 4 effects. If you cast it at Rank 6, you will get the Rank 5 effect.
You would not be able to take the Undeath domain though as it is anathematic to Sarenrae.

If you take Syncretism as a Cloistered Cleric, you choose one domain from your second Deity and gain that Domain's initial spell. You gain nothing else.
For example lets say you're a Cloistered Cleric of Vildeis, your Domains are Duty, Pain, Sorrow and Zeal.
You take Syncretism and choose Ragathiel as your 2nd Deity. His Domains are Destruction, Duty, Fire and Zeal.
You choose Fire, so now your Cloistered Cleric of Vildeis gains Fire's initial domain spell (fire ray) has access to the Fire domain for other feats down the line (like Advanced Domain)
But you don't get anything else from Ragathiel, except you must now follow his Edicts and Anathema as well as Vildeis'.
