Here are four new Swashbuckler styles I brewed up.

The Aerialist gains panache by successfully jumping.
The Cyberjoker gains panache by using Digital Diversion and Combat Hack.
The Magician gains panache by Tricking Magic Items.
And the Rescuer gains panache by using Battle Medicine.

I also introduced a few 2nd level class feats to facilitate these play styles. If you can think of more, please suggest them and I'll add them to the document.

Although I struggle to think of fictional swashbucklers who'd be represented by these new subclasses, they look mechanically fantastic. I particularly like how this adapts the class to Starfinder, and I think there's room for a lot more crossover content like this. Nicely done!

Yeah, of them I think the Cyberjoker is by far the ~~strongest~~ most interesting. A similar environment exploiting Swashbuckler might be well suited to Pathfinder, but that's also kind of just... Swashbuckler (or maybe Daredevil). Since the GM can grant Panache for ANYTHING good use of the fight environment (narratively or specific to map elements) can already grant Panache.

In fact, RAW the GM can already grant Panache for any of the above things, regardless of subclass, and probably should if they have some narrative flair.

So, I would, for Starfinder, introduce the Grav-Booter Swashbuckler. They gain a climb speed of 15 ft, and if they succeed an acrobatic check, they do not need a free hand to use this climb speed. This also gives them panache. with later developments that give them a temporary fly speed, and eventually perm hover, and full flight.
