SF2e Scenario #2-02: Solar Shake Up, another star scenario?

I had a lot of fun running Scenario #1-10: Rites of Rekindling. It ended with some potentially unfinished business on Lajok and unanswered questions about Sota, seeming like it might get a sequel. Now that we have the description of 2-02: Solar Shake Up, it looks like we are getting another star-related scenario. Perhaps, there's a, something going on with the stars' mini plot. But with no clear connection to Sota and Lajok in the description, I'm wondering if Scenario #1-19 was going to be the sequel to 1-10: Rites of Rekindling?

Typically for sequels that utilize the reporting conditions they give themselves a good bit of time, since you need the players to have at least a couple of months to play a scenario, and from what I've heard from authors they get there assignments with a fair amount of lead time on top of that. It's a bit different for the true metaplot scenario where things are kind of mapped out from my observations. And sometimes when they have a potential plot thread to come back to it just ends up not happening. I'm still waiting for a sequel to 4-05 Myriad of Worlds for example.

I have not seen anything in the announced adventures that looks like a Lajok sequel (and how I would love to write it - or even just run it and play it!)

Sometimes they plan the sequels in short order, especially with metaplot. Other times the plots get picked up whenever. I would love to see a sequel to Myriad Worlds, and I would also love to see us pick up the plotline from Historia's Holdout where we find the missing protoge's of Historia Prime.

Which is why I was surprised 2 of the non-meta plot scenarios got sequels within season one. With scenarios being shorter, I was pleased to see more of the non-meta plot scenarios getting sequels.

The big reason I think there would be a Lajok sequel

Galaxy Guide says. Spoiler :

"It was only a recent investigation performed by the Starfinder Society that revealed Sota’s accelerated death wasn’t a natural phenomenon."

Rites of Rekindling ends spoiler:

, leaving the PCs' last seen on Lajok. Dancing, feasting and beach parties await! With the mystery of who's behind the Burnt Circle conspirators unsolved. It seemed like a good time for the PCs to stay there to investigate Sota as well.

Side note: I really like the ending (part in bold). With the new shorter scenarios, ending like that makes it easy for a GM who wants to make the session run longer.

With other things said in the Galaxy Guide, perhaps it might makes sense to come back to do the Sota investigation after some other events have finished first. Maybe 2-02: Solar Shake Up, will end leading back to Lajok and Sota, or perhaps deepen the mystery. I know what I will be reading on July 30...
