Nope! Library Lore is the subcategory for knowing things about libraries. It's rolled for finding things in an archive, knowing about particular libraries, and possibly for identifying creatures found within a library (so you could probably use it to RK about a humanoid who is the head librarian (instead of Society), or maybe a creature very associated with libraries and words, like a calligraphy wyrm or living rune).
Generally, Lore subcategories that let you roll for any creature are really, really restricted - they're class features rather than standard skills, and increasing them is quite hard. Additional Lore the skill feat means any standard lore scales automatically for the cost of, well, one skill feat, and compared to what enigma muse bards or thaumaturges have to do, that's way too good to be true.

Maybe if the creature is a bookworm ;)
Seriously, if you're in a library and an encounter happens, and the beastie is something the GM assesses hangs out in libraries or is regularly associated with libraries, then I'd allow it. But otherwise i.e. for some random critter whose presence there is unrelated to the nature of it being a library, nope.

It would also be very reasonable to allow Library Lore to be used inside of a Library while researching whatever creature (if that Library actually has information on the subject to find, of course). But that's very different from on-the-spot universal knowledge, which would not be a sound expectstion at all.

I've seen Library Lore being used as an option for research subsystems in adventures, for example Malevolence.
Yeah Library Lore comes up multiple times in PFS scenarios and such when there's a research task in a library.
I suppose it could also be used to learn about a creature if that creature is a librarian or a book mimic. ;)

I'd also allow it for giant silverfish, sure. Any lore can have specific cases where it might be appropriate to so creature (and of course, you account for how tangential the connection is in setting the DC).
