Possible Forgotten Realms Adventure set in Shadowdale or Waterdeep? (PF1)

Who is up to a game set in Shadowdale or Waterdeep? I just want to know at this point.

Game will use the FRCS (3.0) and the Pathfinder RPG (1.0).

I won't post recruitment specifics on this thread. Just know that I'll be allowing some Pathfinder Player Companions (I have a lot of them on my hard drive). And just know I'll be limiting race choices to the FRCS for now.

Time is 1372 DR. Level to be determined (TBD). Class choice also to be determined. If we do Waterdeep, it's possible to create an urban ranger or vigilante. (BATMAN type characters can be possible).

If we adventure in Waterdeep, it's possible you could cross-over to my current Undermountain adventure. However, everything is up in the air at this point.

You had me at vigilante… Waterdeep.

Oh, man. Love me some Forgotten Realms!

I'm interested. Waterdeep has always intrigued me. I don't really know enough about Shadowdale to comment

Have open time for more games, I can do whatever party needs. I have an idea for cleric spreading luck through channeling focus, an occultist, and I have one vigilante that was started and the campaign puttered out

Nods

Well, we will see. I still have yet to decide on where to set it. Like I said, if Waterdeep, it could cross over into my Undermountain campaign.

There are other places I could choose too.

Related question for the possible Waterdeep setting, has any of you heard of Advanced d20 Magic by David and Michelle Lyons?

Yep. You made me familiar with it in another game-interest post. :)

No, but I can do some research :) or you can provide relevant links?

I can't provide relevant links per the TOS of these boards. However, you can search the Internet Archive for it.

I'm not familiar with it, but I have no problem looking into it

I’ve heard good things about advanced d20 magic but never used it.

Only books to buy I could find are too expensive.

I'm not going on russian pirated virus gardens.

I read the reviews, and it sounds interesting..apparently it gives advantage to cleric and druid with good fort saves vs wizards and sorcerers

One of the sites says something along the lines we receive less than one copy in 6 months, and that is over 30€

AI can create passable overview of the rules...assuming they are correct :D

Well, shajnal, since the game is set in a different location (Amn), you won't have to worry about procuring a copy.

Ok...so, no special magic? Too bad...maybe words of power or truenaming?

What are the creation rules?
