I'll cut to the chase since I'm waiting in front of a train and it might leave soon.
The Hurling Rage Power lets you lob some rocks as a full round action.
I have several questions and complaints about the mechanics of throwing rocks, but I'll focus on the big two.
First, since it states they are improvised weapons, does that mean I need Catch Off-Guard and/or Throw Anything to do so properly?
Second, do you still get penalties for the wrong size of rocks, as in -4/-2 for Lesser Hurling, no penalty for Hurling, and back to -2 for Greater Hurling?
Ok train is still going Does Shikigami Style or Improvised Weapon Mastery work for throwing rocks?
If you pick up two smaller rocks, can you throw them both?
Greater Hurler says you can either increase your range to thirty feat or increase your damage by two sizes, but can you half-ass it and just throw a rock one size further up to twenty feet away?
Is there any way at all to increase the fire rate of throwing rocks, like would using the Raging Hurler feat let you full attack with rocks?
Ok Ok train is leaving please help me send tweet.

[PFS Legal] Hurling, Lesser (Ex) (Advanced Player's Guide pg. 76): As a full-round action while raging, the barbarian can lift and hurl an object up to one size category smaller than herself with both hands or two size categories smaller with one hand as an improvised weapon with a range increment of 10 feet. This inflicts damage as a falling object plus the barbarian’s Strength bonus. This damage is halved if the object is not made of stone, metal, or similar material. This is a ranged touch attack, and the target may attempt a Reflex save (DC 10 + 1/2 the barbarian’s level + the barbarian’s Strength modifier) for half damage. The barbarian may apply Power Attack to this attack as a one- or two-handed weapon, as appropriate.
[PFS Legal] Hurling (Ex) (Advanced Player's Guide pg. 76): As lesser hurling, but the barbarian can increase the range increment to 20 feet or increase the size of a hurled object by one size category. A barbarian must have the lesser hurling rage power to select this rage power. A barbarian must be at least 8th level to select this rage power.

Full round action to "hurl" one (specific size & composition) object. They did not use the magic word "ammunition". Using BAB you should get iterative attacks but with improvised weapons I'm not exactly clear ... the one in hand(s) is being used as a weapon but the rocks on the ground/bag aren't. Still, I think most GMs will let you get iterative attacks.
Damage is by general size Falling Objects <Sml 1d6, Sml 2d6, Med 3d6, Lrg 4d6
Weapons then scroll down to improvised weapon. provoke, attack -4
Lsr Hurl Sml rock: Rngd Tch +(BAB +Dex -4) for (2d6+Str c20 *2)B dmg Rng:10ft Rflx(10 +(Brb/2) +Str) for dmg/2.
Commentary:
Just let the train pass this one by... Avoid the improvised weapon feat and hurling feat investment for hurling/rock throwing.
get a composite short or long bow and use that. Point-Blank & Precise still work but as you level up iterative attacks will increase bow damage. There are many kinds of arrows/bolts with good range but rocks just do B dmg with a save.

I don't want to use a bow, though.
Very politely, that is not what I asked for, I want to throw rocks at people.Azothath, you have helped me out before years ago with older, dumber builds, but I trust you understand it is frustrating when you want to goof off with X and get told 'just play Y instead'.
What's more annoying is the fact that there's almost no Trait support for throwing crap.
I have a vague idea of a build, but it is late so I will post it tomorrow.
Pretty funny that halfling Barbarians get a range bonus as an FCB.

let me rephrase it:
1) explained how it works in RAW, which is what Rules forum is about. There's always a bit of variance as we interpret RAW and people have more experience in some areas than others.
Lsr Hurling is required.
Catch Off-guard is helpful(eliminating the "-4") but not required.
Throw Anything is helpful but not required. Again, about the same as Catch Off-guard so take one or the other, not both.
Hurling is the second feat in the feat chain and lets you do more damage.
2) additional commentary/advice. You don't have to do it as it is Advice.
Hurlers' size sets base damage so you want to be as large as possible. Enlarge Person will act the same as a feat which is awesome for a First level spell.
While targeting touch AC is nice, Rng 10ft means you'll have plenty of range negatives and 5*Rng is usually the max range or 60ft {it's range + max range to hit maximum distance}. Improvised weapons are a GM's grey area.
Please post your build in Advice if you want advice. Generally Rules forum is about legality or how RAW works.

response to complaining

2) additional commentary/advice. This is extra and I tend to only add it when there are better options or a long thread goes into chat mode. You don't have to do it. The game tends to focus on often used forms of attack and there are more class options, feats, equipment, etc for it.
That is fair, I apologize for my late rudeness.
That train went on forever.
