So I am just starting my SF2 journey and I plan to run "Battle for Nova Rush" since the PDF just came out. But I have a few questions since core book is not out. Seems like running this on FreeRPG day would have been hard
1 it seems the PDF is missing item and ability descriptions. Where can I get those? Is there a reference some where?
2 is there a way to get the maps with out the room numbers on them? I useca tv to display maps on my table top
Thanks in advance for any help

Starfinder 2e comes out in 7 days.
To run it before that, the playtest used the core rules from PF2e Player Core and GM Core. The Playtest book can also be downloaded for free, but it mostly just covers ancestries, classes, and gear. Once the SF2e Player Core comes out, you won't need the PF2e books anymore. So if you don't already play PF2e I'd just wait the 7 days for the Starfinder books to start coming out.
Side note, the official play test has been over for a while, posting questions like this might be better in the general section of the normal Starfinder page, where more people might see it.

Free RPG Day products have very tight page counts, so they expect you to use a rulebook or SRD to run them. Like Driftbourne said, you'll want the Starfinder Playtest Rulebook or the soon to be released Starfinder Player Core, plus the GM Core for PF2 of SF2 (The latter will release at the end of August I believe). The playtest rulebook also uses the Pathfinder 2e rulebook as a resource However, all the info you need from the PF2 layer Core and the GM Cores can be found on Archives of Nethys
As for a number free version of the maps, you should be able to copy and paste them into an image editor, as the room numbers are on a different layer and won't be copied with them. There's an expanded printable version of the maps someone made for people running it on Free RPG Day floating around discord done using this method.

The pregens in Nova Rush are the same as the ones published for the playtest. You can find full sheets for them and descriptions of their abilities on this page.
There also will probably be official pregens using the Player Core rules in the next month or so.

The new pregens go live Monday, in fact!
