"So, just to make sure I understand, you're suggesting that these fine people leave town to encounter potentially violent groups of other people, and you're offering free room and board for a week? That's about 3 or 4 gold per person, say?"
...and then Neppka would imply that that's not very much money for this sort of adventuring work. However, is that accurate? Has the PF2 economy changed? I don't want to call the inn keeper a cheapskate if this is actually a common amount for a reward.

From my understanding gold is quite lucrative for PF2 regular NPCs. Silver is way more of the currency that matters for regular people.
A week of good work at a regular job for 'level 1' tasks is 1.4 gold and if you do a spectacular job it goes to 2.1 gold.

Thanks, Krrys'tall. It helps to be able to easily reference your sheet for rp or planning reasons. I had forgot that you were a monk, for example, and I had to go back through your posts to see that.
If you have a description or any revealed history of your character, that would also be a good thing to put somewhere we can see it. GMs might want other information that they can easily reference.
This applies to 1E more, but when I was a GM, I wanted to see all the factors that totaled up a PC's skill, for example.
Hope you guys are ready for a little 2e combat...should be fairly light work but we will see.

PF2 question: Is there a way that I'm supposed to know if a hit I land is a critical, or am I just relying on my GM to tell me?

PF2 criticals are when you score 10 above the AC/ DC. Most of the time, we will have to wait to be told, yes.

But it is easy, because you just need to double your total, and the GM can take that into account without you having to roll something.

Can't get to my character sheet, at the moment. If I am ever holding combat up, just delay my turns, or use me as a meat shield. I will jump in whenever I can.

I looked at the URL to pahtbuilder on your alias page, and it's just a generic URL. When I use it, it takes me to the statblock for the character sheet for Neppka.
It would be a good idea to get the stats onto your alias page. It's hard for anyone else to bot your PC if they can't see your stats.
I guess we can meatshield for now, but yeah I think we can figure out a botting strategy once the stats are available to the rest of us. Pathbuilder is pretty good about ways to share the sheet. What I do is go to the print statblock option and then just copy/paste from the print preview screen.

You can actually look back at previous versions of a Google Slides file by clicking the clock/arrow icon near the top right (on desktop). The version from July 19th shows the positioning before the spider moved.

I don't know! Crow clicking noises are something that I'm only vaguely aware of, so I searched around just now, and this is what I found:
One of the more commonly heard non-caw crow vocalizations is a series of low-pitched rattling sounds or clicks, rather like the sound of a ratchet being turned rapidly, or a higher volume version of the chittering of a squirrel.
So, it sounds like it comes from his throat, but I am visualizing that he has his beak open when he makes the noise.
Oh, so crow click vocalizations! That's super cool. I was just imagining a tongue click like a human could make at first, but that is so much cooler!

Thanks! I don't have any particular idea of what a tengu might be like, but I'm taking inspiration from this feat:
Squawk! Trigger: You critically fail a Deception, Diplomacy, or Intimidation check against a creature that doesn't have the tengu trait.

You let out an awkward squawk, ruffle your feathers, or fake some other birdlike tic to cover up a social misstep or faux pas. You get a failure on the triggering check, rather than a critical failure. All creatures that witnessed you Squawk are temporarily immune for 24 hours.
Neppka isn't going to take that feat, because he's a mix of cocky and often not having a clue when he's made a social misstep, but the feat implies that these humanoid crows have a lot of their avian counterpart's mannerisms.
