What do you think the silver maiden is?

Scarab Sages

Just something I've been pondering recently. The major artifact silver maiden is a ship https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/artifacts/major-artifacts/silver-maide n-major-artifact/ but what kind? A galleon, a sloop, a yacht? What do you think it is, or better yet is it stated anywhere?

Sailing ship

That’s what it is mechanically. As for what a sailing ship is in the real world, that word covers a wide variety of designs.

assumed s-shaped monohull ships (as classic for the time period & descriptions) - Silver Maiden artifact & King Xeros

I would have it as whatever kind works best for the story being told.

Scarab Sages

I'm aware sailing ship covers a wide range of things hence my wonderingg which type of sailing ship others see it as.

You have the Clipper ship which has a lot of sail so it is fast. Cutty Sark Beam 36ft, LOA 280ft, Hull 213ft.
Steam powered ships replaced them.
Paizo map --
Ship, Bigger ship (Beam 50ft Hull 150ft), and Pirate ship maps have 3 masts.
