Unsure of what feats to take

Advice

I'm looking at playing a Tefling with the expanded Fiendish resistance feat to start grabbing Acid so I have resistance 5 to Acid Cold electric Fire

I'm either playing a BARBARIAN (Invulnerable Rager)

Or fighter Advance armor & weapon training

If I go fighter I plan to go with Adamantine full plate

I'll fight using a great Axe (Will probally spend the feat to get improved crit when I can

My main problem as I'm mapping out the fighters version feats I am not sure what feats to take after a while

Feats
LV1 Expanded Fiendish Acid 5
FB weapon Focus great Axe
FB power Attack
LV3 Furious Focus
FB weapon Spec Great Axe
LV5 ????
FB. ????
LV7 ????

What should I take for my last 3 feats

I'll have 18 in STR 16 in con and 14 INT 16 wis and 12 cha

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Lvl 5 adv weapon training (warrior spirit)
Lvl 6 fb adv armor training (armored juggernaut or armored sacrifice)
Lvl 7 Iron will, or the other option from lvl 6, or curnagon smash

Just a few ideas of the top of my head

Edit to add: with all those resists look at the magic trait: unscathed.

Dark Archive

Bar Room Brawler paired with the advanced weapon training ability abundant tactics.

pull out any feat on the fly. especially nice when you need a very specific feat 1 time. like rat catcher or you can always use barroom brawler to pick up dedicated adversary to basically gain favored enemy on demand

Improved Critical will let you threaten a crit more often, and Critical Focus will confirm them more often.

Vital Strike is good for boosting damage on turns where you'll only get one attack (you had to move first, you're slowed, etc.) or have a foe with high DR, incorporeal, etc. (Though Power Attack with a greataxe does help there, too.)

Armor of the Pit is solid, and every front-liner can use more AC.

Seconding the unscathed trait. Better to take it as one of your 1st-level traits, rather than spend a feat on Additional Traits. Both tiefling PCs in one of my regular games have it, even without expanded resistance.
