I don't know about you guys. But this feat seems to imply we are missing some runes.
Because I don't want to constantly glow like a lantern all the time. I don't want to inflict a constant negative resistance to fire. And I don't want to commit a slow death through ticking electric damage or complete exhaustion.
It's certain that the designers will add more runes in final version. My only complain is this large abyss between levels.

I think the intent is that you can tattoo whetstone or impact with it. And I think the intent of impact is that melee weapon immunity is supposed to include unarmed - only ranged blugeoning weapons don't get the immunity, it's not melee weapons per se they meant to limit this to.
I would like to know if the intent was to allow any rune to be tattooed and then apply it however that would work (say it passes to your shield and/or weapon) or if it was specifically "creature only" runes.
Since my initial reading was that you could tattoo whetstone or ramparts and then you always have it when you are holding the appropriate thing. But then I wasn't so sure.
