So I was thinking about runes that are put on weapons and armor... and I was wondering... Is there a rune that can increase the circumstance bonus a weapon with the Parry trait provides. Like, clearly it would need to be at least level 5 or higher. but... I don't know. Just a thought. Would that be game breaking?

I am not aware of any items that increase the bonus to the parry trait.

There are some class feats that will give additional bonus if the weapon used has the parry trait already. Twin Parry is the one that I can think of and find. Adding that as an item would devalue the feat - for whatever that is worth. It also makes it exceed the bonus of the Shield cantrip.

Also, it shouldn't ever increase to be more than a +2 circumstance bonus to AC from the parry trait. Otherwise it will be strictly better than using a shield.

Increasing it to +2 I don't think is game breaking. It makes it equivalent to using a shield. One action for a +2 circumstance bonus. The math of challenges and monsters won't need to be adjusted to account for that.
