Advice

Looking for 8th level spell advice for a Warpriest. He uses Trip and Demoralize quite a bit so I figured Impeccable Flow would be a no-brainer. Also he has access to Mountain Resilience, is the Heightened 8th level version worthy of a spell slot?

Just to be clear, are we talking about an 8th-level character casting 4th-rank spells, or a higher-level character casting 8th-rank spells?

If it's the latter, I'd probably recommend heroism instead of impeccable flow. Its bonus is one lower until you get to 9th-rank spells, but the bonus applies more broadly, lasts tens times longer, and can be bestowed upon others rather than just yourself.

I can't recommend moment of renewal enough. It has prevented multiple TPKs during high level play in our group, quickly turning the tide of a fight from one side to the other. Works especially well with feats like Reach Spell.

Yes sorry level 8 spells (character level 15)

Moment of Renewal can definately be a lifesaver. It's healing the party for Con*30 hit points at this level, which should probably be 90-150 hp each!

I'm don't care for impeccable flow and most other self-buffs unless you consistently get to pre-buff before combat. Turn 1 is frequently the most pivotal turn, and spending it to be better on later turns is often the wrong move. Heroism's bonus to attacks is also hard to pass up.

Mountain's Resilience can be worth preparing. It can prevent a lot of damage if used well.

I like heroism a lot. I might slot even heroism in 8th level slots. If you are concerned with damage resistance, Mountain Resilience at 8 can be useful. Divine Aura can be good too if you have the action to sustain it.

How does Moment of Renewal work? It says Touch, but how are you suppose to touch 6 creatures? Like in combat do they all have to be surrounding you or something?

I often like to slot in one Dispel Magic in my highest level slot. You may not need it, but when you do, you *really* need it.

Honestly Moment of Renewal looks great on paper, but it's hard to use. Best way to use it is with reach spell. That's a 3 action round if not hasted.

In our games, if Reach spell won't work the oracle moves to the party member with the lowest hp, then calls everyone to him. He then uses his remaining actions to stymy the enemy with a control spell or defensive spell to buy the party time. He then casts moment of renewal on the following round.

Other options besides Reach Spell could be a divine sorcerer with Spell Relay or a divine Familiar Master with Familiar Conduit.
