Which CREATURES are you most looking forward to seeing again in SF2e?

There's a lot of discussion about player options for SF2, but not much about toys for GMs. Which is a shame, because a good roster of creatures is essential for any combat-heavy, crunchy RPG! So, tell me about your favorite SF1 monsters and miscreants and what makes them cool! Let's build our own dream version of the first 2e Alien Archive together!

For me, I really loved the various humanoid foes in Interstellar Species and Pact Worlds. They covered a lot of campaign roles and level ranges, meaning there was a fantastic selection of options for when you wanted to do something more social and less dungeon-crawly. I also think anacites are adorable, and think 2e presents some unique opportunities to bring forward their various solar-powered and networking abilities.

Giants, because I want another Pholskar adventure, to see where certain events are headed. I'd prefer it to be in this last season of SFS 1E, so I can play it with the same PC as the first two, but will settle for 2E, as long as that story line doesn't simply evaporate.

I was glad to see Jotun in the 2E Playtest language list, because having a giant-ruled planet with no Giant language in 1E was rather surprising.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the more futuristic outsiders again; I always thought they were fun, and gave the world more of a cohesive science fantasy feel.

Robot dragons would also be great to have again, though that might be better to hold off on until a few more books have come out and they can introduce a dragon for each of the major ranged weapon types.

Hold up, Perpdepog, did you say weapon dragons?

Wayfinders

I'm courious to see the 2e updated starship-sized creatures, but we might not see those until we have starship rules.

The other thing I'm really curious about is playable species in the alien archive books. Using the 2e style ancestries makes them hard to if in a normal alien book. So I wonder if we will get the non-playable version in the alien books to use in encounters. If we don't get playable versions of all the SF1e species, it would at least be nice to have alien stat blocks for all of them so we can home-brew the rest our selves.

Concept-wise, Ferrofluid Ooze is one of my favorite Starfinder aliens, but that's already in Second Contact.

I've encountered some of the swarm components in the playtest as a player so haven't seen their new stats yet. 2e sounds like the age of big conflicts so I suspect we may see more of the swarm again.

I'd like to see Akata again, I'm curious if they change that they only lay parasitic offspring in humans. I hope it stays that way.

Drift Architects, Spectra, and anything drift related. I wonder if we will get new aliens that are only found in drift lanes.

Klikharp because I play like to play shirren, so wondering what companion aliens we will be getting back

I never played PF1e, so don't know much about Iron Gods AP. If there are any alien species in that, that have not been reprinted in PF2e maybe they could show up in SF2e.

Thank you for introducing me to robot dragon build-a-bear. My life is better now that I have this knowledge.
