This has been bugging me for a long while, but I'm surprised not many mentioned this nor has Paizo ever mentioned why themselves.
Why can't Alchemist's make elixirs? Such as Elixir of Hiding, Elixir of Tumbling, Elixir of Love, etc.? They require the Craft Wondrous Item feat, but you'd figure Alchemists would have the exception of being able to make those just like they can make potions with Brew Potion.
Yet a few of their Extracts mention elixirs alongside potions (such as Spirit Share and Alchemical Allocation).
Feels like an oversight that's never been mentioned apparently.

Elixirs shouldn't require Craft Wondrous Items in the first place, they should be under Brew Potion. It's not so much that the Alchemist was explicitly barred from crafting Elixirs, it's more that Elixirs were misclassified.
I think the reason this doesn't get talked about much is two-fold. First, most Elixirs just duplicate effects you can already get with Extracts for free anyways. And secondly, it's one of the things a GM would just agree to handwave. If a player pointed out that Elixirs cannot be crafted by an Alchemist, I wouldn't have any problems waiving that rule and just letting him craft them.

Note that alchemists can't craft elixirs with their Brew Potions class feature, but they can craft elixirs by taking the Master Craftsman feat with Craft (Alchemy) and then Craft Wondrous Item.
In addition to elixirs, I would say that Craft (Alchemy) would also allow the crafting of dusts, ointments, powders, salves, truecolor dye, universal solvent, wound paste, etc. with Craft Wondrous Item.
